Great new little Sushi restaurant. My family was excited to see we finally were getting a sushi place nearby. My wife and I stopped by for lunch and found the service to be great and the food to be excellent. Prices were very reasonable, too.
Sake Sushi is a great start up restaurant in this area! They have quality sushi and energetic service. Our favorite menu items are the sushi for two platters. Reasonable prices for two with a filling amount of fresh sushi. Now that they've opened their bar I'm sure it's going to take off!
Wow! In the convenience of chaska, we have our own sushi place that is so good! Ordered Edamame: hot and salty California roll and crab and avocado roll is amazing. Super fresh and they make them in front of you. Hibachi chicken and rice is as good as Benihannas! Great and friendly service Beers in bottles $3.50 Highly recommended

This is as good as it gets. It's worth the drive out to the burbs to get it. It's a great family friendly establishment. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. We always get the double crust house special and cheese bread - never disappointed by it. Our daughter really liked the meatball and pasta option from the kids menu.

If you going to go to a McDonald's in Chaska, this is the one I prefer. Cleaner, newer and seemingly less trouble with turnover than the one downtown. Foods always been good, quick and hot. I've not had a bad experience here yet.

Chaska My Love

Reviews:
Excellent and authentic. You walk up to the counter and order. There are photos of the items, but no descriptions. No fountain pop; bottled mexican favorites and other bottled soda. The staff was friendly and helpful and explained the ingredients and menu options. The food was prepared very quickly and brought to our booth. I had #21, chips and guacamole, $4. The guacamole was made to order, and was excellent and fresh. I also had #13, 4 tacos, $6. I asked for beans instead of meat as I'm a vegetarian. Instead of the refried beans you normally get at Mexican restaurants, these were like pureed black beans. The beans were very tasty and had a great texture. The tacos were very good, I would order them again. My husband ordered #7, enchiladas, $7. His options were chicken, beef, or cheese. He chose chicken. He really liked them. They came with the black beans and rice. The rice was moist. I didn't love the regular red salsa that came with the chips, but the green salsa and the salsa with the tacos were excellent. Restroom was clean. Lots of hispanic patrons, which I think is a good sign!
I can't tell you how amazing this food is. For those of you with tastebuds that crave predictability, stick to the other Mexican place in town. For those of you that want a fiesta en tu boca, go to Chaska My Love! Their menu is numbers based, and I couldn't make up my mind because everything looked delicious. I asked the cashier, "Ques es tu favorito?" and he replied with "Numero tres!" I took his suggestion and I couldn't have been happier. What is the numero tres? You'll have to go there and find out! Unique spices and flavors that you definitely won't find at the other Mexican place in town! I have a pretty high tolerance for spiciness and asked if I could get some spicier salsa than the red salsa that came with the chips. What they brought me was some of the best salsa I've ever had--it was a green jalapeno based salsa that had a good amount of heat, but some fantastic citrusy flavor too. There's no doubt that I'll be back here many times to try everything on the menu. Viva Chaska My Love!
Great place to grab authentic Mexican food. Some of the items you can't even make out or understand the name, which should tell you its authentic. There are pictures though. The staff is very friendly. They can tell you in English what an item is if you are confused.

Ruby Tuesday

Ok, it's Ruby Tuesday. I'm not rating it against 4-star restaurants, I'm just rating it on a scale of hate to like. I like it. It's good for what it is, which is not fancy, and doesn't come with high expectations. Food was just as expected. A-Ok. {I use that term, because it's how Yelp describes a 3-star rating}. The service, however, was awesome. I dined alone over lunch, used the wifi to work remotely, and the server didn't care how long I stayed. I made sure she wasn't trying to leave for the day, and that I wasn't taking up a table in an already-full section. She was super attentive, friendly, but not intrusive, and kept my water full. She brought the bill but didn't rush me, and even gave me a 25% off coupon for my next visit! Score!
Worst place in chaska. I won't be back as I was sick for 3 days afterwards with food poisoning. Buffet items that should have been cold were not. Was the cooling broken? Not sure but the place need help
My roommate and I make it a point to come here for happy hour. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders are very friendly--our favorite is Brian. Fun selection of appetizers that are on special, and of course the salad bar is always great too!

Heartbreakers Bar & Grill

Reviews:
We traversed down to Chaska, my wife and I had a $20 voucher for Heartbreakers. I had seen one around Plymouth, so I was expecting a Doolittle's type of place, this was the exact opposite. This was a dive bar with some TVs on the wall and one older gentleman sitting at the bar sipping on a soda. The place had neon signs lining the wall and some arcade games. It was nice enough, but only sat about 40 people probably. The bartender came over and was kind of goofy, but a nice enough guy. We got our menu and I ordered an Alaskan IPA. Good stuff, nice and hoppy and crisp. Yummy. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich with a side salad and my wife got a side salad with ranch. We sat and talked and laughed with each other and then or lunch came out, two plates of iceberg lettuce with nice croutons and onions and tomatoes, with a side of dressing each. The blue cheese was creamy and delish. Nothing special here though. The sandwich came in a basket with a pickle spear, always a plus. Love me some pickles. The kaiser roll was bountiful and fluffy. Very nice. There was a plethora of BBQ pork on it with a sweet BBQ sauce, it just oozed out the sides. Also on top was a creamy, crispy coleslaw. There were sweet crunches with each bite, and I started out holding it in my hands like a baby bird, nestling the happiness but fearful I would drop it and have it splatter all over. I transferred to a fork and all was well with the world. The meat was so much, I was pretty much stuffed. If I could give the place 2 1/2 stars I would, but the ambiance was so weird, I couldn't see myself recommending this place to a friend. The sandwich was real nice, but it was a tad cold, and the salads were big, but nothing special. Beers were $5 a piece, not bad, not great. Kind of like a explanation for the whole establishment.
Bartenders and waitresses are awesome. Good food, good prices. The regulars are fantastic company, and very welcoming. Overall a great small town bar.
It will break your heart. Dingy, bright lights and loud music in a strip mall. Oh, and drunk people walking around like zombies. Pretty awesome. They also have a fire pit.

Seasons Restaurant

1 Oakridge Dr
Chaska, 55318
Reviews:
Visited Seasons for Sunday brunch yesterday (9/16/12). It is a "fair" buffet, but for the price I rank it as "poor." 1 style of scrambled eggs, 1 item on the carvery (most carveries have two), bread pudding for dessert in chafing dish that was 90% gone and never replenished for the 1-hour we were there. On top of this, no orange juice, milk, nor soda is included with the $20/adult price. Only coffee or tap water. I was amazed at being charged $20 for each adult PLUS the incremental $2.50 for a soda and incremental $2.50 for orange juice for those who ordered them. We ordered milk for our toddler son and were charged for that. Completely mystified by this considering even continental breakfast buffets at Holiday Inn Express' have milk on the cereal bar and pour your own orange juice included in the price. When presented with our bill and I asked our server if it was a mistake, she said no. This was nearly $13 of beverages plus tax to get 2 fountain sodas, 2 orange juices, and a milk for our party. When you add that onto the $20/adult for buffets (plus tax) the bill was quite more than it normally would be elsewhere for a better brunch. On top of it, the service was terrible. It is a buffet, so the server isn't as encumbered with serving food, so the attentiveness to the $13 of drinks was outrageously poor. Our glasses sat empty multiple times that she passed our table. Finally when we stopped her to ask for a refill, she refilled them, but the inattentiveness continued after those refills were empty. We were there for a little over an hour and we only had our drinks refilled once and that was only due to our corral-ing the server and asking. Save your cash for other places nearby that have a better selection, non-alc beverages included, and far superior service. Steer clear of Seasons at Oak Ridge in Chaska / Chanhassen. Its not worth it.
Very good brunch. Is there better in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area? Yes. Is there better within a 20 minute drive of this location? Not that I have found yet. Seasons is my most frequent brunch location. Kind of a little known secret. Very good food quality, nice variety of dishes, not a ton of options, but they more than make up the quantity requirement with quality. Laid back, kid friendly, nice and comfortable seating area looking out huge glass windows. It is primarily a wedding reception location and conference center. Most people don't know that there is a spot to eat inside open to the public so you will rarely see long lines at the omelet station. Check it out if you are in the area.
We went to Easter brunch a couple weekends ago and were pleasantly surprised. The quality and choices were fantastic. Each item I chose was tasty and flavorful. Very nice atmosphere and hidden location makes this place a nice secret!

China Pagoda Restaurant

Reviews:
I have always loved China Pagoda. Over the years, they have changed owners a few times but I have been continually satisfied with the quality of their food. I almost always order the food for pick up. The few times I have eaten in the restaurant, have been for lunch and the service was fine. The address the other two reviews: OF COURSE the food is Americanized. This is suburban, practically rural, Minnesota. I am in no way surprised that they were not well versed on vegan dining. Give them a break. What they do, they do well. ALWAYS order the Tiger Pork. Sooooo good. The fired wontons, and steamed dumplings are also exceptional.
Food is fabulous, the best Chinese food in Minnesota.. Great service and the waitress Aliza is so freaking hot.. Good food n a hot waitress what else can you ask for.
Decent food, good-sized portions. Complaint - ordered a Diet Coke (with free refills) and was given a can of frozen Diet Coke. Not being a complainer, I mentioned it hoping the server would bring us another that we could drink. Nope. Laughed it off and said it must be too cold. Wow, thank you for the news! The place was empty at 6PM on a Tuesday night so the service was prompt, but this just didn't fly for my wife who is a Diet Coke fiend. Bummer too since I love Chinese food, even if it is rather Americanized...even better!
