Great Pub Food. It was a Monday, so all Burgers were 1/2 price, and it was Happy Hour, so all beers were 2 for 1. I got The Juicy McCoy Hamburger, and my son got the Bacon BBQ Deluxe Hamburger. Both burgers were exceptional, cooked exactly as we asked, and there was plenty of French fries. We sat at the bar, and the place was very busy, but not full. It did take what I considered a long time for the bartenders to acknowledge we were there, but once they made contact, the service was great. FYI, the 2 for 1 beer special, literally means they pour you 2 beers, so while your drinking your 1st beer, your 2nd beer is sitting there getting warm. The prices are very reasonable.

My first visit to this new location--okay--an average sports bar. Our lunch visit to this new location (formerly an American Legion) was a mixed bag. The food was okay. I had a burger (Little Lucy) and my daughter had a "secret recipe" sloppy joe (Sloppy McCoy). No big deal...average sports bar food. The fried pickles were good but over cooked and the portions were super small, very stingy compared to other restaurants. The server was friendly and attentive. But she was also clueless. We had multiple SIMPLE questions about the menu and the food, and she didn't know anything and had to run in back several times to ask someone else. Don't these people get any training? The building decor was pretty interesting, a rustic old barn vibe with a lot of rough cut reclaimed wood. As a side note, both front doors had standing ashtrays that were filthy, with cigarette butts and gum wrappers all over the ground. It looks really tacky, like someone is NOT paying attention. At 1:00 in the afternoon, someone should have been sent outside to police trash from the drunks the night before. The coolest thing about this place is the cold war era military tank left over from the American Legion. I guess it would be okay if I lived close by and wanted to stop to hang out, get drunk, and watch a game with the buddies. As for us, we won't be back again. There are too many cool places waiting to be discovered. -Daddy Maxx Retro P.S. I called the American Legion and they said that they're still at this location but they now only use a small portion of the building, the rest is rented to Willy McCoy's.

The juicy Mccoy is a beast of a burger, perfectly seared and cooked medium rare. Could barely finish the burger, but that's probably because of the delicious appetizer I had, the southwest Fiesta chicken dip. Only thing wrong with the dip was that there wasn't enough dip to finish the chips with. Overall, speedy service and you can't argue with 2 for 1 drinks ALL day EVERYday.

Who can complain with 2for1? It's a good vibe and solid pub fare. Plan to wait 45+ on a Friday night. It's my new favorite in Champlin.

The server comes to the table. "What can I get you to drink?" Fail. No "hi guys, welcome", no "have you been in before?" No "my names steve and I'm gonna be taking care of you guys". I ask for a beer list. He whips out his smartphone and pulls it up and drops it in front of me to scroll through. They have this smartphone table side ordering app. It looks weird to me as all the servers are walking around on their phones. Maybe working. Maybe doing status updates. Who knows? I ask about a beer. He can't tell me about it. Fail. Food was pretty good. I had a french dip that they make with shredded pot roast. Coleslaw though had celery seed in it. So for the rest of the evening I was biting into celery seed. Unpleasant. The server didn't check back and it took him forever to bring the check. I actually had to hunt him down for it. Space was nice. Food was better than average and the server was nice enough, but lacked any real training or systems or leadership. Almost Willy. Get that's service thing on line and you could have something special.

Went here for a family birthday party for my father-in-law and was pleasantly surprised. It was 2-for-1 all day so that was awesome! I had the ahi tuna salad and it was one of the best I've had at any restaurant. My husband had the inferno burger and waffle fries with seasoned sour cream--other than being a little over cooked, he really enjoyed it. Everyone with us was pleased with their food and the portions. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Fun decor and good atmosphere--will definitely make it a point to come back!

Only bar around this area that has darts and pool! So a bonus in my book! 2-4-1s is also a great selling point! Food was good, nothing to rave about but not so bad that I would never go back for more. Nice outdoor /patio area! The bar staff could be a little more attentive, my boyfriend and I sat at the bar for 15-20 minutes before being noticed.... quite frustrating!

I came in super late at night craving a burger. Got in at about 10pm, got greeted and seated right away. Took a while to actual get some service from our waitress, we ended up ordering our food, apps and meal all at once not knowing how long it'll be before she shows up again. I gave this place a rating a 3.5 solely based on food however service from our waitress would have to be a low 1 rating. Since it was a Sunday, the wings were $0.50 each, so we decided to give the boom boom wings a try. Fantastic-- it was a mix between a chipotle BBQ and ranch flavor. For our meal, I got a very basic BBQ bacon burger. The burger was cooked to my liking and the BBQ sauce was really good. My husband got the 70/30 burger which he absolutely loved. He asked to have the seasoned sour cream with his waffle fries. It never came out with it, and even after asking our waitress for it-- it still never came. After asking for a box for our leftovers, we waited for quite a while to get our tab. Again, I would totally come back here for food but the waitress took a long time with everything and had very poor server etiquette.

Poor management, Rude servers. Overall, I have never had a good experience and I have been to this bar 10+ times. It is Nearby my home but I will never go again. The staff changes daily and they lack the training needed to assist you as a customer. Overall, this is a well below average establishment that should be thriving in a "bar happy" area. Better management is needed in the worst way!

I was leery about trying this place because of several reviews noting bad service, but I'm glad we did. Our service was outstanding, and our food was delicious. They were very busy for a Thursday evening, but we got seated right away. Our waitress appeared promptly and checked in at all the right times. My husband's steak was cooked rare, as requested. The Whiskey Chicken Sandwich was very tasty. We will return.

Great shrimp sliders and 2 for 1 drink specials! This new location has a great lodge feel with a very open floor plan. The server was very attentive and friendly.

Food is good but I'm sorry... It's not 2 for 1 on drinks when you charge $6.00 for 2 tap beers. How about $3 or $4 for 2.
