The pizza was amazing! I'm from out of town and it had good yelp reviews so I thought I would try it. I'm glad I did! I got a pepperoni and olive pizza and it was great! We also got the artichoke dip which was awesome! Their prices are also very good! I highly recommend!

For Neopolitan pizza in Brainerd I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Would have preferred fresh mozz on my margherita over shredded. Ceasar salad was really good too.

I'm so glad that I stopped in for pizza here. It's so different than anywhere else around the area! I ordered the Mississippi and it was great. The crust is to die for and they have a great selection in beer and wine. The staff was friendly and upbeat which was great to see. Our food came quickly as well. Finally, I really enjoyed the decor - really fun and different. I can't wait to get back to Baxter and visit again!

So me and 2 other coworkers came here and we all ordered different pizzas and they were all awesome!! Plus they kind of burned my first pizza but gave it to me for free then made me another pizza cooked perfectly so i got 2 pizza's for the price of one. Good beer selection also

Pig heaven pizza is delicious!! Only make it to this area once a year but look forward to coming back!

Easily the best pizza place in the area, especially if you like wood fired pizza and good crust with interesting toppings. We have many of these in Minneapolis but not here, as far as I know. Fun decor, and some daring pizzas are a big plus. Lots of potential. Overly salty pizza is a minus, and the ranch salad was so soaked in dressing that the rest of the flavors didn't matter. Service was fast, and attentive. We'll definitely be back, hope it keeps getting better.

Definitely our new stop when we travel up north. Boomer pizza quality competes with the best here in the Twin Cities. Really like the variety of choices for pizza, beer, and wine. The owner was very warm and spent some time chatting with us at our table over lunch. Lots of great posts already on Yelp - just want to confirm that the quality and service others noted continues. Make a stop!

Seriously these guys will nice you to death! They were so friendly and helpful with the menu items we had questions on. Several people made sure the food tasted good and that we were well taken care of. The brick fire pizzas are amazing with something for every taste! If that still doesn't float your boat you can build your own or choose from several other sandwich/salad choices! I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the neighborhood!

Really good pizza at a reasonable price. Had the local which was really good if you like goat cheese. The other pizza was a standard pepperoni and sausage. Good chew to the crust, sauce was decent and the cheese was solid. What set it apart was the service. This was surprising since this is an order at the counter place. Owner guy, pizza cook, and hostess gal came out and checked on us, asked how we liked the food and chatted for a minute. Super nice people. Interior is nice, casual and well done. Looked like a nice patio too. Very good brew selection with surly, rogue etc etc on tap. Totally worth a drive if you are in the brainerd/nisswa area. Worthy of your patronage and hope they are around for a while. Ill be back.

Boomer Pizza is one of my favorite places to go in the Brainerd Lakes Area. They have amazing pizza and it is pretty inexpensive! The staff is always super friendly as well.

Boom(er) goes the dynamite! Finally! Amazing, fresh, local Neapolitan Wood Fire Pizza in Northern Minnesota. Their chewy charred crust is a fantastic base for simple toppings done right. Order a pie from the cheerful staff, don't forget to pair it with a wonderful beer or wine, and take a seat in the charming dining room space to enjoy. ***A note to the other guys (Pizza Tent, Small Caesar, Pappas Johnny & Murphy) this is what a Pizza Experience should be.***

Disappointed to say the least. The chicken wings were under cooked, the hand held digital thermometer method to check if they are done needs to change. The pizza was okay but it lacked flavor. Better quality and or better use of seasonings would certainly fix this. I will give it a second chance...

Stopped by with my family, sat down for 10 minutes to never see an employee. We even dropped our keys on the table to draw attention. We ended up leaving without seeing anyone. This was at nearly 3pm.

Great food, great selection of beer and cider on tap, great atmosphere, great customer service! They were really great about letting us know when or for would be out and they remade I've of our pizzas because they thought the crust for a little too burnt. The staff was so nice and helpful and they obviously take pride in their food and restaurant. I really don't think you could get anything bad here if you tried!

What a fantastic wood fired pizza restaurant in Baxter! Just had dinner there with my family and both of our salads were delicious, served with rosemary flatbread.. They have a nice beer and wine selection and the pizzas were fantastic! We really loved the fig, gorgonzola, caramelized onions and prosciutto pizza. We also had a pepperoni, a sausage, and then a green olive, sausage and onion. It's very much like Punch, but with its own unique twist. You order at the counter, pay, take a number, and the food's delivered to your table. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and it's a nicely decorated space. We'll definitely be back and are SO excited to have a decent, non-chain, unique and delicious pizza place to go to when we're up in the 218!

Their pizza is very good. The wood fire is such a good flavor. I had the aloha and it was great. The environment is nice too!

My family and I were on driving home from vacation. My wife wanted to eat at a new restaurant. She was searching on Yelp and came across Boomer. We are big fans fans of wood fired pizza. We decided to give Boomer a try. We are very glad we did. I tried the "Boomer" and my wife had "The Local". My son had the"The Shorty which is kid friendly. The pizza were very good and tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and we will visit again when we're in the area. If you like great pizza and great service give this place a try. It now has the Beaudry seal of approval.

If you're ever traveling through the Baxter area, this is a must try place if you're hungry and looking for something to eat! Their pizza's aren't soggy like a lot of the others in and around the Twin Cities where I typically dine at and the ingredients were fresh tasting and delicious. The next time you're in Baxter, stop by Boomers for some delicious ZZA'!

Stumbled on this local treat and am thrilled! The fresh wood-fired dough crust make the pizza and their new Albi's (salad stuffed in crust) fabulous. If you're looking for a casual, reasonably priced lunch or dinner, Boomer's is a MUST! Can't wait to come back!

It took 50 minutes to get our pizzas, and then one of them was wrong. Pizza is just okay, and the lunch special was not clearly worded...create your own is really not included as you are charged extra for toppings.

My three year old was having a family birthday party and we called ahead to be sure we could be accommodated on a Thursday afternoon; we arrived to an empty establishment. Clean, well decorated and a viewable fire pit oven was fun for the kids to watch. We ordered nearly 5 pizzas and all were great - the boomer special and fig pizza topped my list. The staff was very friendly and having a small selection of on draft beers made it enjoyable for the family adults too. The prices were great for fire-roasted pizzas cooked in under 10 minutes and at around $10 a pie, our final bill wasn't something to freak out about - it was rather acceptable. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and a good selection of fun pies to try. My husband really enjoyed the Thia pizza - spicy but unique!

Best pizza in town! Had a pie when they first opened and have been hooked ever since. Love the variety of options here. My personal favorite is the hole-in-the-day (pepperoni and sausage) the wings are top notch and the ranch salad is amazing. The staff is always nice and has been since the first time we went. I prefer this restaurant when its just my wife and I. The bill can get a little high with 6 kids! Great food great service! Thanks boomer!

De-lish! Great pizza. Love the sauce, the wood fired crust. Lots of options for a vegetarian. Got the "Local" minus prosciutto. Yum! Great selection of wine. Lots of craft beer on tap. And the service is VERY friendly. We will be back!

Hard to say! Went to have lunch and was told they were so busy that I wouldn't be served for an hour or so. Being understanding I left. Many months later I came back because I still wanted to try their food and alas - was told again they were short-staffed and so busy that it would take a very long time to serve me. I gave up.... My wife and I left and I doubt we will be back. Didn't look that busy to me.

We stopped in for pizza during our vacation on the lake. The pizza was delicious! We ordered three different kinds---Margarita, Hole in the Day, and Wisconsin Cheesehead. All of them were so good. The staff was friendly and our pizza came out very quickly even though they mentioned that it might be a little bit of a wait due to a large order before ours. I wish we lived closer than nine hours away from Boomer Pizza because it would definitely be somewhere that we would eat at often.
