Just used this little piggy for my wedding catering and was very happy with it. We ordered the full roasted pig and it was absolutely delicious. All sides and salads were fantastic too. We received many compliments about the food from all our guests. It was also nice working with this little piggy and their friendly and helpful staff. Make sure you discuss everything you want included, but they are very helpful in adapting the menu and order to your specifications and wishes.
We had an amazing meal for our wedding, and people still comment on it! Especially the Mac and cheese- highly recommend!! Great company!

A nice little hippie coffee house in Apple Valley. The coffee and soup are excellent. All the drinks are named after pop culture idols from the 60's. For example,Janis Joplin (vanilla latte), Bob Dylan, (cappuccino), and so forth. I love the atmosphere at this place. The interior is decorated with pictures from the 50's and 60's and the classic rock station is playing on the radio. Nevertheless, it is a quite atmosphere. There is even a lounge, which is a great place to relax and read a book or get homework done. I would go to Valley Girl any day over the big name coffee chains like Caribou or Starbucks.
Kids growing up in the burbs today (and even in the city) may only think of Starbucks or Caribou when it comes to coffee. They missed the first wave of independents. Having a place like Valley Girl reminds us of the roots of the coffee craze. Yeah, its a bit quirky and junky, but you have to hand it to the people who are working there every day in a competitive, chain store market.
I absolutely adore this small shop, the mother/daughter duo are wonderful. They have unique gifts, a great assortment of food (I recommend the veg. panini) and drinks. Great spot to catch up with a friend or study. My only reservation is their tea selection which is just ok, but their coffee is wonderful! "The Che" is their best tea selection IMO.

Excellent place to eat. We have eaten there over 10 times. They slice all the meat to order not pre-sliced crap like Subway. Sandwiches are reasonably priced and come in three sizes. Definitely I recommend this place if you are anywhere near it stop in and you won't be disappointed. Service is excellent everybody is super friendly.
So my 8 year old decided we should try this place again...I make him try vegetables he doesn't like repeatedly so how could I say no? Staff was pretty friendly, food wasn't any better than the last time, my 8 year old likes it because "it's something different". For our two sandwiches, chips and soda, it was over $18. I don't see the value of going here. I noticed a family, what I am assuming is the owners? Sitting at a table doing homework, and other stuff, just kind of strange for a small place like this. Makes it kind of uncomfortable.
Live in Cobblestone Lake and never went until about a month ago. Really liked it! Subs are great and fresher than Subway. Great other options, too. Will definitely be back!

I had out of town guests and we were looking for an unique place to eat. We were seated on the patio. Gorgeous night and it was nice and quiet out there. Our server was very attentive and the manager came by to make sure we understood the happy hour menus. Very pleasant people! We had eight people so we decided to each get an appetizer and split them. The food ,which is made from scratch that day, was AMAZING!!! The calamari and shrimp were huge and full of taste. Everything was hot . The bread was delicious and warm. Our favorite was the gnocchi ....mmmm...mouthwatering. We were to stuffed to have desert:) I highly recommend Vivo. We will be returning soon.
Great food, great patio, and great service. With this place I felt like I hit the jackpot! Amazing food and atmosphere is possible in the suburbs! Tuna crisp appetizers are one of the best I have ever tried, and the lasagna was impeccable. We are going again this week for my Mothers birthday! Great choice, you cant go wrong!
I have been to Vivo Kitchen a few times now - usually for the brunch, which is very good. However, the happy hour and main menu is truly where this place shines. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and cozy. The patio is great during the summer. They have a large bonfire and comfortable seating which makes for a nice place to unwind after a long day. We went to Vivo Kitchen last weekend to try out the new tacos on the happy hour menu. Guajillo chicken street tacos were wonderful - the chicken has a rich, smokey chipotle pepper-like sauce, corn tortillas, cabbage, lime. These rival some of the best tacos I have ever had (which I have had many fantastic authentic tacos, however, most of them were not in Minnesota, with the exception of just a handful places like El Taco Riendo in NE). Absolutely wonderful. We also had the burger on the menu and oh my, I cannot tell you how wonderful this was! I wish i could remember all that is on it, but unfortunately, I do not. You will just have to go check it out for yourself. It practically melts in your mouth and is bursting with flavor. (This is coming from someone who does not typically prefer to order burgers in Restaurants). I had the Pomelo Margarita which has actually pieces of Pomelo in the Margarita itself. It was perfectly tangy and tart, sweet, and refreshing - the best grapefruit/pomelo margarita I have ever had. Absolutely lovely. I would order it again in a heartbeat. Vivo Kitchen is a hidden gem - more people should know about this fantastic restaurant as it provides for the suburbs what you often can only find in or around the city. Good service, good atmosphere, and a killer menu. Whether you are looking for a fancy dining experience, a night out with friends, or a comfortable place to relax at the end of a long day, you cannot go wrong with Vivo Kitchen.

Tasty fresh bread, knowledgeable and friendly staff, a few "adventurous" sandwiches to come back for! Narner was awesome!
If you put jimmy johns and erbert and Gerberts in front of me I'm not sure I could tell the difference.
No better than Subway. Our sandwiches were of mediocre quality, and I thought they were a bit skimpy on the meat and cheese, but loaded up the sandwich with shredded lettuce. The cost was comparable to Subway, or perhaps a bit higher, but I didn't think the quality was any better than Subway. Last, the clerks were kind of grumpy, I think they were hanging out in back chewing the fat and when we got there we disturbed their gab fest.

We come in a lot, and up until recently have never had an issue. Staff is friendly and qiuck. They need to watch their cross contamination though, as I had chocolate bits in my ice cream last time, and have issues with caffeine. Other than that, we love the ice cream and service here.

I decided not to wait for a date with Brian and Alyssa R.for my first encounter. I was way too curious. The fish and chowder are everything they say it is. We had to wait for the second batch of fish, and it came out piping hot. Normally this would rate a 5 star on its own merit. But to parrot Brian, the fries, coleslaw, and tarter sauce were so damned hideous, couldn't do it. However I would like to try other menu items, like a Greek style shrimp scampi. I had to drive around a couple of times to find a spot, that is typical for Friday, it's packed.
We used Rascals to cater our wedding! I am not over exaggerating in the slightest when I say MUTIPLE people said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Marci was AMAZING our final menu wasn't even on the catering list but she did substitutions and add on's until we had everything we wanted. We had the texas BBQ course for our dinner- my husbands family IS from Texas and they said it was absolutely legit texas bbq and was delicious! We feel good that we have found a cater for all our futures families needs!

Craving real mexican food during my lunch breaks at work I drove by and saw Fiesta. Where there has been plenty of business that have failed at remaining open past the two year mark. I have hope for Fiesta. Right away I was greeted upon walking through the doors and seated immediately during lunch they had about 4 other tables filled. Ordered a chimichunga with soup and soda from the lunch specials. They also serve every day with chips and dip fair warning the salsa is runny and very spicy! I wish they offered other types of salsa's for dipping option but don't get me wrong I like the current offering Food came out quick and everything was great! The owner also stopped by the table and talked to myself and let me know the specials for Valentines Day. Great deals throughout the week and Will be coming back just for the excellent customer service that was given.
Disappointed with the new menu. It feels like going to a fast food joint complete with disposable plates, cups and utensils. Where are my favorite dishes?
The Mole De Pollo and Cochinita Pibil are 5 stars!!! THUMBS WAAAAY UP These are secret family recipes from Cancun area i understand.

Always a nice place to come where the staff is always nice, Ashley is one of the sweetest waitresses. The whole staff always have smiles on their faces every time i come in. Will definitely be back. The best thing on the menu is the Bourbon bacon burger. I don't have anything bad about them, i have been here about a dozen times.
I was pleasantly surprised on this trip to the Denny's. Their current promotion features the new Avengers movie and they mustered a tasty skillet meal called the Human Torch. This skillet came out fajita style on a sizzling skillet, featuring a tasty blend of potatoes, onions, peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms, all smothered in some sort of 5 pepper sauce. Topped with two perfectly cooked eggs and a giant breakfast sausage link on the side.
Went only because they began to offer a discount to seniors. The food is the usual crap sold at these sort of places with the addition of bitch white women who refuse to quiet their horrible children and a manager who is a total a**hole about it. I do not care for any of these chain places, but everything about this place is the worst. Hopefully someday all the grease on their food will catch fire and it will burn down. The skillet was simply floating in grease and never any wait staff around when needed

Burgers were OK. I've had better burgers at Five Guys/Red Robin. The Smashfries that came with the burger were too salty. WTF!?! I hate it when fries come out all salty. It completely destroys the burger eating experience! I did, however, get a new batch of fries made but I was already upset at the original batch. What upset me even more was the guy who did my original batch of fries blurted out loud, "What? The fries were salty?" when he got the message that the fries were sent back for being too salty... When I heard that, I was livid. Crappy attitude is unacceptable.
I'm a bit bummed. This place is steadily slipping into a place where management isn't doing its job or doesn't care anymore. I find everyone is really nice and the food is still good. However I am totally bothered by tables that aren't cleared, especially when it's slow. I watched the gal delivering food walk by a table with garbage on it no less than five (5) times. As I am now spooling up, what also pisses me off is when tables aren't wiped off after they are cleared. This isn't a f**king picnic canopy and I shouldn't ask for a towel to wipe down my own table! I'll also mention the Dr. Pepper fountain, which was out when we arrived, took 30 mins to fill after my kid told the gal up front about it. I repeat, it was slow. Yes, this is self centered, but pop (Dr Pepper) is a treat for my kid. Btw, that trash was still on the table as we walked out about 45 mins later. Ok, deep breath. Ridiculous to get upset about a mostly fast food place that I guarantee will lose or is losing market share in Apple Valley. Next time, Five Guys!
Great burgers, fries and salads. Service was excellent too !!
