The 40 Club has changed hands again. The food is comparable to what you find at most places. Taste is fine, not too overpriced. They may not win culinary awards, but you can certainly leave there feeling satisfied. One of the nicer restaurants in Aitkin, but you will not be out of place wearing jeans and a T-shirt.

Not a bad joint. The salad bar was the best part of my meal. They have a decent amount of good stuff on the salad bar that I like. Lots of veggies. The chicken dinner I had wasn't great but it wasn't horrible. There is plenty of TVs and seating in this place. Not the most exciting atmosphere but it's a small town I guess. Not much action going on. I would go back. The bartender was very nice as were the servers and cooks. Good service overall. I would give this place 3.5 but not a four. Check them out if you are in the area. The prices are a little high I thought for the type of food they serve. The salad bar is their strong suit.

Good food, good buffet. Very nice waitress. Has Coke AND Pepsi products. Nice and cozy rooms. Fast service. Decent bathroom, but small. All in all, great quick stop on the road.

Bad food, bad service, bad environment. There are literally no windows to the outside. Terrible dcor. Really really ugly. Food is really bad.

The owner is personable and the bar crowd was decent. I liked that area the best...For dining, however, I'm not sold. The food was just ok. My broasted chicken was overdone and onion rings were under cooked (even though I asked for extra crispy). The server wasn't super friendly or attentive, but she took our order and offered the check. It has potential, but it's a little dirty. Crumbs all over the chairs in the dining area, mess all over the salad bar. Great party space, but it needs some work. Overall, visit for a drink, skip if you are looking to eat.

40 Club does have decent food......but some of the servers are not very friendly, in fact sometimes RUDE. I keep going back but I think I am done with the 40 Club.

Bad bad bad! Waited almost 2 hours to get our food. Also all the tables around us were waiting too. Don't plan on going back, and we live here and eat out often.
