I moved to Zeeland from the NY / NJ metro area in November 2014. I say that to say that since I moved here I've been frantically searching for a good slice of pizza in West Michigan. I for the most part have been thoroughly let down by the pizza out here. Fortunately, Petrino's however has proven to be a breath of fresh air! I've ordered delivery a few times from them over the past 6 months. They seem to be the only place in the area that I found that can make a thin crust pizza. They also have a greasier slice than your average West Michigan pizza. As a long time cook myself, this leads me to believe they are using whole milk mozzarella whereas some of the other establishments are using part skim mozzarella. While I love the more greasy pizza, the downfall of Petrino's is that since it's a thinner crust frequently the pizza crust is flimsy and flops over when you pick up a slice. It's not uncommon for me to have to use a fork and knife to eat the slices. One way around this, is to ask for the pizza well down with a crisp crust. Also I found that they use a lot of cheese on their pizza (especially if you order a plain pie) Despite these criticisms, I reluctantly say that this is the most authentic New York pizza in the Holland-Zeeland area. Also, I feel compelled to mention this. The strombolis here are amazing! Vitales should take a lesson or two from this business on how to make strombolis. Their strombolis are pretty simple, as they should be. They have just ham, pepperoni, and mozzarella in them and are brushed with oil prior to cooking which gives them a nice golden and crispy outside. I recommend getting the large. It's about $13 though you will be amazed as to the size of the 'boli. It's pretty close to 2 feet long!!! It's easily 2 large meals. Buon Appetito!

The pizza is awesome but they would not honor the online coupons. When I called to order they they that was 2 months old and they would not honor it. I do love the pizza but the service needs to improve.

Worst experience ever. My husband and I ordered delivery from Petrinos and were told it would arrive in 45 minutes. After 1 hour and 40 minutes, we called to ask where our pizza/salad were and they told us that they had delivered it. Funny, since no one ever buzzed our apartment and we never received any food. They claimed that they buzzed our apartment (though we tested our buzzer -- which works -- and I was sitting right by the buzzer for the hour and forty minutes of waiting) and that someone came, signed for the pizza and took it. I foolishly trusted them to do their job of delivering the pizza, and paid w/a credit card over the phone, so now they have my money and we have no dinner. To make matters worse, after the guy who took our order told us he would remake the food and bring it over, a very angry man with a very thick accent called back about 10 minutes later screaming at us and telling us that it wasn't their problem if someone else signed for and took our pizza. I informed him that since he didn't ring our buzzer, and didn't verify who he received the signature from, it was indeed his problem and we either wanted food to be delivered or a refund. After much back and forth arguing, that was being semi translated to us by the guy who took the original order, we told them to cancel the order. I wish I could comment on the food, but all I can say is the service was terrible and now I have to call my credit card company to dispute fraudulent charges. 2 lessons learned: 1. Always pay in cash at the time that you receive your food. 2. Do not order delivery from Petrinos pizza.

I've been here a few times, to me, they're the best pizza place in Zeeland, not that it's a pizza mecca or anything. I've had their pizza slices for lunch as well as their stromboli. The pizza, well, it's about as good as you can expect for lunch time slices, they're reasonably fresh, and flavorful, usually with a pretty good variety to choose from. The stromboli, is pretty much everything I'm looking for, quality cheese, which reheats properly, with a golden brown crust, coated in garlic butter and Parmesan. Plus that sauce that comes on the side has excellent flavor. My only complaint is that they don't have online ordering, but really, I can't expect that from a small pizza place.

+ Pizza is old-school when it comes to sizes. + I don't know what it's called but I really like the chicken ranch pizza with broccoli and tomatoes! My first impression of this place was that they could be a little friendlier (I was taken off guard on my f
