Saw the reviews, so I had to try it. And they did not disappoint! I got pizza, which was very good and my fiancé got the skinny dip sandwich, which she loved! The pizza was very cheesy, the sauce was flavorful, and the bread was extra soft n fluffy. Only complaint is...I think they used can mushrooms. But it was still amazing. My fiancé's sandwich was very huge, with good ratio of meat/vegetables. The au jus was amaze balls! Fries were nice n crispy. The people were very nice and you can tell they care about their customers. The menu was quite large...so plenty of options for everyone. Overall we loved it and we are definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

This is the time I wish I could give half stars I would give it a 4.5. It is very good food. The service was decent, even one of the cooks (maybe owner) came out to talk to customers. We were laughing because we heard him talking about coleslaw on a sandwich. This is funny because we are Pittsburghers which is the common thing. He heard this and brought us a sample of their coleslaw. I do not like coleslaw, but this was good. It was fresh, had a crunch, and not too sweet. My husband got a chicken ranch sandwich and I got a stromboli. His bun was flaky and soft. The stromboli had amazing dough and seasoning. The only downfall is that the atmosphere is a typical pizza place. It had a ton of beer signs and I dont think they serve alcohol which is disappointing.

Tucked away in a strip mall, didn't even know this place was here. Even lived around the corner back in the day. The gyros are not served from a spit, but they told me it was sourced from Kronos. Good size sandwich that includes the white sauce on the side and an order of fries. For the money, would prefer without fries and off the spit. The meatball sandwich featured homemade meatballs. Bread was offered with either wheat or white. Nicely toasted. We also ordered a Skinny Dip (like a French dip with aus jus). Comment was made that it tasted better than some of the Chicago style Italian beefs - probably because the focaccia bread wasn't pre-dipped. Was offered with choice of chips or ranch chips. Their ranch chips are hand cut tortilla shells dusted with ranch sauce. These were really good and nice change of pace. One odd thing, tried to move the mushroom and onions from one sandwich to the other. They said they would have to charge me to add for the other sandwich which was odd, especially for a small mom and pop store. Ended up getting on the side of the other sandwich as a matter of principal.

A well-kept secret in Wyoming, Michigan!! Great friendly services, great food. A great casual dining experience!

YUUM! This is a great Mom and Pop kind of place with a pretty small dinning area. It can get pretty noisy, since it's so small, so I would recommend picking up or delivery. Cheese sticks are freaking amazing and make sure to get extra RANCH as it's awesome!

Unassuming location with a very big menu. This place has a small local feel. Had the rancher chicken sandwich. It was a good size and tasted good. Fries were good too. We were here on a Saturday night and were surprised it was not that busy. With kids that was fine with us.

I live in Ramblewood, so it's nice to have a place I can walk to and get food. They also deliver which is convenient. Their hamburgers are perfectly cooked and the buns that they use are nice and crispy. Their fries are also very good. Crispy, but not overdone. My fiancé loves their subs and pizzas. We have never had any issues with the food or the service.

Feel bad about rating this the stars but I had a club sandwich and its hard to either excel or fall short with a club sandwich. They used romaine lettuce on the sandwich which was nice and everything was adequate. The menu is quite large and I plan on coming back to more thoroughly experience the shop.

Never had a bad meal here. Subs are great and kid portions are huge. The chicken they use is very good. Quick in a Saturday night...about a 15-25 minute wait consistently for take out. Highly recommend the Apollo Creed and Chicken Philly subs! Please help support this local gem!

My kids have deemed Thursday's "Skinny's" night. They love their pizza, and frankly I do too! On my way home from work on most Thursdays I stop in and pick up a pizza. We sit in front of the DVR and catch up on America's Got Talent and enjoy a fun family night.

Best ham and cheese sub around. I had hunted for a good toasted ham and cheese around the Grandville/Wyoming area for a while. None if the big chains near here do it justice but skinnys hit out the park. A very filling sub for the price, looking forward to trying other things from these guys.

Good burger, pizza, sandwich place tucked back in a strip mall near ramblewood. Spoke w owner who indicated they'd been open for 13 years--wow! We stopped in because I had a hankerin' for a Philly steak sandwich and my usual place was closed--new earlier closing time started the day before. Ouch! Found skinny's on yelp. When you know what you want for dinner I'm not easily deterred. I ordered a French dip and my partner in food ordered the kraut burger--one of their specials. My philly sandwich was fine but the kraut burger was really a standout: the kraut was the old style kind your grandma used to make-- definitely homemade with apple, bacon and clearly cooked for a LONG time until it's just right. When I go back ill def check the specials. Onion rings were good too and didn't seem pre-packaged. Overall skinny's impressed with a unique menu, great specials and homemade touches you don't find many places anymore. In fact, as I write this I'm thinkin' I may try their pizza tonight....stay tuned!

Top notch meatball sub here today. Cheesy breadstick were good and sounds like we have to try the pizza next. Wife thought her turkey sandwich was good but not her favorite. Huge fan of the sweet sauce for cheese stick dipping and on the meatball. We'll be back.

Skinny's is decent shop near the Rivertown Mall. I had the club, which was similarly decent. Typically I like crusty bread, this bread was more of a soft variety. The sandwich was quite tasty, and the price seemed reasonable. The atmosphere is a place where you could take a few people and just relax, no over-stimulation here. Worth a try if you're in the Grandville area.

Great 'Skinny Dip' aka French Dip (no onions or mushrooms for us). Pizza is great. Most food on the menu is great - lots to choose from. Gyros are good. BYOB (we stop at the beer/wine store across 44th street to grab a few single beers).

I have been going to Skinny's since their opening and I Love this food. Homemade soups are awesome as well as their inventive hamburger. My kids get excited when we call in an order for delivery and insist on having Root Beef in a bottle. Thanks Steve And Wade for some seriously great food and service over the years.

Disappointed in the pizza after reading good reviews. The cheese kind of tasted like feet and the sauce had no flavor! Won't be back...at least not for pizza.

Came into Grand Rapids on business, wanted to stay away from chain restaurants. I always like to look for something local. Found Skinny's and tried the 'Skinny Dip' sandwich due to a previous review. Awesome! Loved the bread and the seasonings on the meat. Went back again and tried the pizza....which I also loved. I'll be going back here when I come back.

It's small, it's busy and I had one of the best sandwiches I've eaten in a long time. Grandville is filled with chain restaurants and it was so nice to discover this gem!

Delicious sandwiches, wonderful pizza, and great service. Their subs are especially good (the Wadeluxe and Meatball are my favorites). The atmosphere is just okay, and they don't technically have a public restroom. There are outside tables, though, and the prices are good. Overall, one of my favorite local sandwich shops.
