The best sushi place in the Midwest!!! We went to this place yesterday for the first time and everything was excellent. The service was great, the food was awesome and fresh. We had seafood udon and california rolls lunch combo, hwedopbop (sashimi over rice and vegetable), corona rolls and playboy rolls. If you like raw fish, go with hwedopbop and corona rolls. They were really fresh. If you don't eat raw fish, go for their udon, california rolls or playboy rolls. They serve other menus like bulgogi as well. I love this place!!!

We ate here a few nights ago, and I have to say that they just might have the best sushi in the area. We had a variety of rolls, with the salad and soup before that,and I think I could drink their ginger dressing on their salad! So glad to have a place in Williamston that offers fresh sushi. We have eaten there several times, since it has opened, and we have been pleased every time. I highly recommend it.

Pretty lucky to have this pop up in Williamston. Have eaten here 4 times now and I can say I'm impressed with sushi. Hwe Dub Bop was my go to at Sansu in East Lansing and this one might be better. Also have had the spicy seafood salad (awesome, ask for extra spicy), Tropicana (nice), and Tuna 3-Way. The Chicken teriyaki Bento Box was huge and very good. Check them out!

I've eaten sushi in Seattle, Vancouver, and San Francisco. Especially for a little place in the middle of Michigan, this is honestly some of the best sushi I've had anywhere. not to mention the cooked items are wonderful too. Had the Tonkatsu pork. Super delish. Would also be great as an appetizer. We had the Several rolls, which were all great, but the Corona was particularly good and a new flavor for me with the lime on top. We also had salmon roe nigiri, also really good.

Delicious! I love sushi, and this place is now one of my favorite sushi spots. The salad was amazing, best salad I've had before sushi. The rolls are worth the price. I had the big Marth and the mellow yellow roll. It was fantastic. I'll be back again.

Surprising to find a sushi place where there are no Asians living nearby. More surprising yet, the food is decent.

They had us from the first bite! We started with the fried gyoza and tuna tataki, then progressed to the sashimi appetizer and the bulgogi and fried pork lunch specials...oh, and we threw in The Playboy roll for good measure! All of it was deliciously fresh and tasty. Hands down the best sushi we've had in the area. We will be back!

A great sushi place in Williamston? Who knew? It was a little hard to find, in a strip mall just east of downtown. If you aren't looking for it (and you should!) it can be hard to spot but well worth the trip. The miso soup was very good and the sushi was fresh and tasty and very well prepared and presented. The service was outstanding and we were made to feel very welcome and important. This has become my go to sushi place in the greater Lansing area..

After a long winter in the Lansing food scene, I was delighted to emerge from hibernation and find a new sushi establishment in Williamston, of all places! My hub and I visited Japan last summer, and since then, no sushi joint in the Lansing area has been up to par. However, I've been impressed with the freshness and taste of the fish here at Miso. Both times we ordered various types of nigiri and found the uni (urchin), sweet shrimp, mackerel, and scallop to be quite good. Hub got the tempura udon and liked the texture of the noodles. He also thought it was the best in East Lansing. Presentation across dishes is aesthetically pleasing, and service is consistently timely and polite. We plan to keep coming and trying various items on the menu. So far, though, we have been pleasantly surprised - and downright grateful - to have Miso in our backyard! Four stars overall, but a whopping FIVE for East Lansing!

We stumbled on this place on Saturday while out on the bike and holy smokes...what a find. It is great. I had several of the handrolls- stuck with basics as I wasn't sure of freshness or quality, but will experiment in the future, hubby had the chicken teriyaki Bento box (so large he couldn't finish it). Don't like the unassuming decor or the strip mall location turn you off, this place is a definite must go. When we walked in we were we weren't sure, but so, so glad we stayed. I'm sure you'll feel the same it you're nearby, it's worth the drive.
