Horrible service they "lost our ticket " so our food had to be made again. After 45 minutes. Then lied about when the original ticket was turned in. Won't be back. Table was sticky. Floor was filthy. Even the menus were dirty. Nastiest place I've been to in years.

First time coming to this location. I had the big boy, tasted just like a big mac. My husband had the four cheese pasta, it was overcooked and extremely bland. My mother in law ordered the minestrone but it wasnt until the rest of us got our food that we were told they were all out of minestrone. Very long wait. Will definitely not be back.

When I go in, I ALWAYS ask for Debra as my waitress. She's the greatest and has worked there for over 30 years. She truly cares, and provides excellent service. The food is good, but not great. I would give 3 stars for the food, but 5 for Debra so I averaged it to a 4.

Normally the service is decent as is the food. This week we went on a night that was really slow. Our waitress was very busy while 4 others and the manager stood around talking. Our food sat in the window for 9 minutes. I spoke with the manager after the meal and asked why the other waitresses did not help our waitress, and she said they helped her with the desserts. (we didn't get dessert). It would have been real simple to say "I am sorry, I did not notice, i will speak to the staff this evening".

This place is the dumps. Food took forever to be served and when it arrived it was tasteless and luke warm. I then ordered the warm apple pie, now you would think that after I complained about my cold food they would try but nope. .. cold apple pie. I will never come back here again. This place is the dumps. Do yourself a favor and go to a nearby coney or something and get better value for your money. One positive thing is that when I complained the manager took care of the whole bill.

Not a huge fan of Big Boys, but my wife is... I worked at this location when I was a teen, but it has really went through some changes and updates from when I worked here. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the smell... It had a B.O. type smell which never left or cleared up during our meal. No, it wasn't us. Even my wife made a comment about it which surprised me. I just got the soup and salad bar, which was sub par at best. She got the salad bar along with a club sandwich which she said was ok. I think there are other restaurants in the area who's salad bar blows this place out of the water, which is where we will now be going. If my wife says she was impressed, although she loves BIG BOYS, then there is a problem... We won't be back.

I've been to this location many times, and for the most part was satisfied. Today, completely different story. We had a party of 8, including 4 kids. It took forever to get drinks, took forever to get food. The fries were cold and soggy..even after I requested them well done and crispy. My granddaughter's eggs were rubbery. The place was not clean. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Now I know why I never go to Big Boy. Yuck. Dirty. Messy. Food rejected even by the tiny humans that were my companions. How do you mess up kid pancakes? Crowded and I have no clue why.

I've been here a lot of times over the years, and most recently it has become a tradition to come here with my boyfriend and my brothers for my brothers' birthdays. We always used to go to the one on Plymouth Rd in Livonia, but we started going to this one since the other shut down. They're usually busy but have decent service and nice managers. Burgers, fries, and milkshakes are good. My one complaint is that the Friday fish fry buffet during Lent is $14.99. That's a bit much for fish from Big Boy. But they do have a decent selection of fish during lunch, which is good for my Catholic boyfriend. Mostly I just like this place because I hate the Big Boy on 6 Mile in Livonia, so this is the best alternative.

I will never step foot in Big Boy again. The food was below average, my waitress was an airhead and that's being kind. The atmosphere of this one time "family" restaurant was dark enough for zombies. My grandson ordered a sweet tea. The waitress brought unsweetened and said he could use the sugar packets. He didn't like that so ordered chocolate milk. I was charged for both, even though the waitress shouldn't have taken an order for sweet tea when they don't serve sweet tea. I asked for a bowl of chili. She brings me the worst bowl of chili I've ever had and it was loaded with raw onions and cheese. She said that's the way it's served. That crap was $4.99. My daughter let her five year old son eat from her salad plate so I was charged another $4.99 for a child's soup and salad with no drink. My wife ordered a Reuben with no fries and the salad bar. We we're charged for both the fries she didn't order or receive (because it comes with that) and the salad bar. At checkout, I questioned these charges but she said she was sorry but everything was right. I was so frustrated I gave her the wrong debit card. I said, I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong card". Her response, "Too late, I already swiped it". "You can't cancel it so I can use the right card?" "No, I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do once it's swipped". This is the first time in my life that I've left a restaurant without leaving a tip. I'd rate it zero stars if it went that low.
