I ordered two birthday cakes from Le'cakery for my twins 8th birthday. They were OUTSTANDING. Everyone at the party agreed it was some of the best cake they had ever had. I actually thought it was better than my wedding cake was. Moist cake, beautiful design. One thing I really appreciated was that the frosting wasn't super sugary sweet. You know how sometimes there is so much sugar in the frosting that it almost feels granular in your mouth? Not here. Smooth, creamy frosting that was pleasantly sweet without being cloying. Their prices are very fair for the quality you get. I have purchased cheaper cakes from grocery stores or Costco that have been okay, but its funny how half of the cake ends up in the trash. Those cheaper cakes come no where close to matching the quality that you get from Le'cakery - and every single bite was finished. There was no cake in the garbage two days later. Terrific staff, great cake. You can do no better!!
Moist, delicious cakes. Fantastic almond and walnut braided lightly glazed coffee cakes. Specialty almond roll / log is TO DIE FOR. I would gladly remove days from my life in order to continue consuming these things. Friendly service, very professionally done cakes & cupcakes that are always a hit.
Pretty little stand-alone bakery that has it's own parking lot on the right side of Wayne before Warren. I got a chance to talk to the staff and was impressed with the cleanliness and elegance of the store. This store would easily fit into Birmingham or Royal Oak. I did drive there for the paczki and found out that they are only available from the Saturday before Paczki Day to Paczki Day itself. They did have Seven Sister's cake, a Polish specialty, which I happily purchased, along with an assortment of cookies, butter tarts and apricot rugelach. All were excellent and soo fresh! I will be back to get a Mother's Day cake and will update this review!

Best sandwiches out there if you want legit Italian good sandwich here is where u go.
I was in the Westland area and stumbled upon this cute deli. I walked in and the dessert case immediately caught my attention. Tiramisu- done! I figured I should probably get something substantial as well and asked for recommendations from the young ladies, who were very friendly, behind the counter. They suggested the Goomba, essentially sausage and peppers. Just the name alone, made me want to order the sandwich. Sandwich was very good, dessert perfect, and customer service excellent.
I wish they were open later in the evening, because we would probably get dinner from here multiple nights a week if it was! Sandwiches are amazing, my husband loves the desserts. They also sell whole bean Italian coffee that is delish.

Our neighbor recommended Mangia so we gave it a try. Their Greek Chicken Salad is amazing, I crave it and order it more than I'd like to admit ;) their calzones are really good too.
Let me first start by saying I'm partially Italian. And I'm very specific about my food and the way it is prepared. So my review is probably a little more critical than that of someone else. I initially visited this place simply because I got a restaurant.com certificate and this was in my area. I ordered a pizza, meatball sub (at the suggestion of a previous yelper) and a salad ( or so I thought). The pizza was ok. It lacked the right cheeses, oil and seasoning on the crust. The meatball sub was a huge disappointment. The sauce, although you could tell it was made from scratch, lacked the kick of garlic. I prefer a more robust yet flavorful sauce and the tomatoes seemed to be the only flavor inside. You should taste basil, oregano, garlic and many other beautiful complimentary flavors in your sauce. The bread lacked seasoning and flavor. I ended up putting olive oil and some of my own personal seasoning on it. The meatballs were bland. I thought I was ordering a salad with chicken on it and instead got chicken salad. And there was nothing appealing about the taste. I won't be visiting this place again.
Great Subs!! We have gotten take out two times from Mangia. The first was delivery and the second pick up. The food was great. I tried the Cuban sub, the Chicken Parm sub, Chicken Carb. Sub, chicken fingers, roasted? chicken and fried cheese sticks. The chicken fingers and Cuban sub were my faves. The chicken parm sub was tasty but had peppers and grilled chicken. It wasn't what I expected but tasty. Same with the chicken carb. Sub. The oven roasted chicken was dry, and the skin was rubbery. I won't order that again. :-( The Cuban sub was awesome. Not Vincentes in Detroit, but surprisingly good for a pizza place. I will return, but will order pretty far in advance as both times took over 1 hour.

We walked in and was seated very quickly our appetizer was what they call the tonion . dipping sauce was excellent. I ordered the 18 ounce outlaw ribeye with the loaded baked potato No A 1 needed Only thing left on my plate was the bone. When they found out it was my birthday I got a free ice cream sundae. Definitely would recommend and definitely will be back our server really made our meal worthwhile. Absolutely!!
We have enjoyed our dinner here several times. They are friendly and the good is always very good. It can be pricey but it is a special treat. Our waitress Vanessa S. did a great job. You can really tell she enjoys what she is doing.
After some bad experiences in the past five years with steaks that should have been tossed "out back" or tasted as though they were comprised from peanut shells on the floor, I was on the verge of giving up on franchise steak restaurants in lieu of small boutique places. The place was really classy inside, with well-dressed and attentive staff. It had a level of refinement that approached some of the truly snobby steak houses in the area, but fortunately with lower menu prices. The Wild West shrimp were a really delicious appetizer. My steak was the Outlaw Ribeye, cooked medium rare, with asparagus. The ribeye had just the right about of seasoning and was done to perfection. There was some fat and gristle on it, but that's the definition of the cut. I found myself playing surgeon to get some of those well-seasoned scraps from around the bone because it was so tasty. The house Cabernet Sauvignon went well with the steak, especially for the price. The asparagus was good, not amazing, but in January I don't expect amazing. It was cooked correctly and had a nice flavor. The caramel apple goldrush was one of the tastiest desserts I've had in awhile - as you might know from some of my other reviews, I'm a bourbon fan so that hint of bourbon sweetness in the sauce really brought it home for me. I couldn't eat a whole portion of it, though, as I don't have much of a sweet tooth. If I had to name qualms - the parking was a pain. I didn't realize you have to actually go into the mall parking lot to arrive here, so I passed it up, and there wasn't a dedicated turn off of Warren, so I had to turn into a strip of adult novelty stores and then wait to turn around and get back onto Warren. Ease of access would help a bit. Along the same lines, the aisles inside the restaurant felt a bit crowded - every time I got up it seemed I was blocking a staff member or bumped into someone. Minor qualms from an overall great dining experience. I plan to return to this and other Longhorns when I'm hankering for a good steak and hope they can continue to improve on a good streak and continue to exceed expectations in the future.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Service is as others say - excellent. When I asked the waitress (Megan) for recommendations another employee (Tony) who was nearby overheard me and enthusiastically jumped in. He made many wonderful recommendations one of which was their steak hoagie which he said was not made with strips of steak but rather a cut up N.Y. Strip steak. He said to hold the onions and get it with what he calls "Tony's Secret Sauce" - a blend of mayo, bbq sauce and hot sauce. Needless to say my curiousity got the best of me and I'm so happy it did. His sauce was phenomenal! It wasn't too spicy at all but provided just the right amount of zing to go with the hoagie. It was also great for dipping fries into. I just wish it was on the menu because more people should know about and try his sauce. My girlfriend wound up getting the spaghetti and meatballs and this also did not disappoint. The sauce was yummy - clearly homemade and came with several large homemade meatballs. The noodles were also of a good consistency and texture. We'll definitely be going back.
Came for a early lunch on Saturday. It was ok.. Nothing great except for the service. They do have an extensive menu which was nice, because I wasn't sure what I wanted.... They have breakfast items, burgers, gyro's, salads, soup, pasta, lamb shanks, goulash, sandwiches, appetizers, etc. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I ended up with a cup of chili and a side salad. In regards to the chili, I think it is what you consider "coney island chili". It was bland. I can see where it may improve a hot dog, but it's not something I would want to eat on it's own. The side salad was ok. It's hard to mess up a salad. There was a lot of fresh, crisp lettuce, a couple of tomato wedges, and some croutons. The quantity was great, the only downside was the dressing. I had the blue cheese, but there wasn't really any blue cheese. It tasted like I was putting mayo on my salad. It turned me off, quickly. The waitress was very friendly and kind and I appreciated her being so attentive, but I wasn't pleased with my meal. Despite that, it does have a lot of great reviewss and I will be sure to try for breakfast!
Chicken was flavorful yet slightly burnt, the service was nice considering every seat was full, our waitress was good she suggested good things. The owner was very nice, and made sure to greet all the customers, the food us very affordable and for a coney island you really cannot ask for more. Even in the movies rocky lost his first fight, but that doesn't mean he couldn't come back to win it all!
