This place is a family restaurant in a strip mall. That typically screams greasy spoon. But I found that is an exception here. The restaurant looks very clean. Maybe recently renovated. The decor is modern and functional. The bathroom is one stall and clean. You can get breakfast anytime. The bowl of steel cut oats is huge. I had a patty melt made with a "steak burger". It was good. So were the fries. Cooked just right. The service was very friendly. We had a baby with us so we were visited by several of the servers. Everyone was nice. Plus, our drinks stayed full.

The place is hit or miss on both food and service. Their vegetarian pitas are good, but the stir fry was just steamed vegetables over minute rice with sauce on the side. Cute decor.

I had the Fish and Chips after Doc's was suggested by a friend. The fish was undercooked and the fries were overcooked. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It seems like they just remodeled so the decor was nice and the staff seemed competent. Overall the food ruined the experience.

The food is as the sign says, good. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice. The only thing keeping this review from being a 5 star one is the drink refill policy for kids. .75 a refill for kids? COME ON.

They should change the name to "Doc's Insanely Average Food." Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the place. By average I mean it's not terrible and it's not amazing, and they're surprisingly consistent in that regard. I've eaten here several times, and I was never disappointed nor elated with my food. There's a lot on the menu, but nothing at all out of the ordinary; in other words, average. The more I think about this place (service, decor, etc.) it all ranks average! Coffee? Average. Character? Average. Cleanliness? AVERAGE, AVERAGE, AVERAGE!!! It's staggeringly frustrating that I can't think of anything about this place that isn't, well... average. It's a mindf*ck, and it might literally be driving me insane. And that is why they should change the name to "Doc's Insanely Average Food."

My friend suggests this place Docs. We get in the car, I'm driving, I go where am I going. He says by the old Harmony House record store. WOW...has it been that long since I've been to the old neighborhood??? I had the mushroom swiss burger medium..unfortunately it came well done. I expect this because there are a lot of places out there which will not cook your burger medium. I just wish they would advise you first. I would have changed my order. Luckily I did not because the burger was good. I love the fact that it did not come on a regular burger bun. Ciabatta is go good and they grilled it...yum. We had a wonderful waitress and good food. If you are in the "old" neighborhood, check out docs. They will make your meal a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I am thinking next time I am going to try their full dinners. Maybe take another friend...or two.

This place is rough. I seen "docs" in the paper so I tried it out. Seemed overpriced since it tasted like cafeteria food. The staff was rude also so I was pretty disappointed with the whole situations. I definitely will not be going back and would suggest the same.

My family and I love this place! Delicious food! From their Gonzo burger, YaYa salad, Gyro, & protein packed pita to the eggs, bacon, & toast, everything is great! Friendly staff too!

The food here is always fresh. My husband ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup with his paddy melt and it looked home-made with lots on noodles and vegetables. It made me want to try it next time we go to Doc's Good Food. I asked at the check-out and discovered that they offer 10% senior discounts for people 64 and older. Hey, great, we qualify! My daughter had a chicken pita sandwich and said it was really, really good. I had some loaded nachos and enjoyed every delicious bite. As I said in a previous review, this place has a lot of choices on their menu and everything we have tried has been fresh and delicious. I particually like the breakfast they have with turkey sausage, eggs, toast, and a fruit plate. Another good thing is that breakfast is served at any time. The serving staff is awesome... every single one of them. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Doc's is a great family restaurant. Huge menu, consistently good food and service and it's a nice atmosphere. It's in a bland strip mall in Warren, but it's really worth a visit. Everytime I go I get the "ya-ya pita" which is essentially like a a hani pita from National Coney Island...except it's WAY better. It's jam packed, and includes BACON! It's delish. Their ranch is made in house and it's fantastic, and the fries are really tasty.

Good service, fair food. They could learn to add seasoning to the cooking process but still not bad. A little higher in price than other similar restaurants.

I am a woman of color and I was treated very differently from the other customers. Very rude place, also there was dirty smudges on my glass of water. Food was cold, worst restaurant experience. Although the busboy was kind, of course in hopes of tip, but the management, Kim and Doc were very impolite. Do not recommend this restaurant at all, even to the hungry.

I mostly get carry out here (which is fast and always efficient). They have a nice size menu and the prices and food are good.

The chicken gyro was absolutely delicious! The interior of the restaurant was very clean and organized! The tables and seats were spic and span, and it even smelled neutral! The waitress did a fantastic job serving our working lunch. I have no complaints and would wholeheartedly recommend Doc's to friends and co-workers!

Went back recently & had a horrible experience. My mom ordered soup & a half Ruben. Instead, she got a half corned beef sandwich. Apparently, they don't have a 1/2 Ruben Sammy & the waitress couldn't be bothered to tell her this when she ordered. My hot roast beef sandwich was super fatty. The service was terrible. Based on this experience, I don't think I will go back.

Doc's has been a local staple of Warren for years. People keep coming back because of the friendly staff, the vast menu and for the convenience. The establishment is a typical diner; booths, paper napkins, etc... I ordered the baked cod meal where I chose to accompany it with a baked potato, whole wheat roll, and a side salad. For dessert I had the rice pudding. The cod was cooked wonderfully! Flaky and seasoned with the right amount of salt and pepper and a type of "Old Bay" seasoning that just reminds me of the sea. Unfortunately the green beans, which are my favorite vegetable, we limp and boiled to death. I had to pour a shit-ton of salt on them for any flavor. The baked potato was cooked to perfection; soft and warm on the inside with a crispy skin. The sour cream and whipped butter are surprisingly noteworthy, they tasted fresh and complimented the potato well as opposed to making it greasy and fatty tasting. The whole wheat roll was amazing! It was warm, soft and full of hearty flavor. The rice pudding mad me mad, very mad. It's the reason I had to take a star away from my review. The rice was HARD and thank God my server told me to add cinnamon and whipped cream to the dish because if I hadn't, I would've been eating a cup of hard clotted cream pudding. Barf! Aside from that, it was pretty decent and I'm excited to eat there again soon to try what else their huge menu options have for me.

We usually call in our orders here and carry out. Very good food and decent prices. We have eaten in a few times, most recently since they re-opened this spring. Nicely updated decor. Love their omelettes, my suggestion the Greek Omelette with added Gyro Meat.

Sorta hidden, but finally I found a family style restaurant that actually serves "good food"! Lots of choices, had a great meal twice so far. They use real ingredients, not like other out of a can family style restaurants. My wife loved it, and she's picky. What a difference in quality. I just wish it was closer to where I live, but it's worth the trip.
