Waited over 30 minutes for our beer order. Why? Because they didn't have enough mugs. We offered to change our order to small glasses but that was a no go. Apparently not serving beer was a better option. Very disappointed in just how bad the service was and their response to their own lack of adequate resources. Oh, and they took orders from everyone at the table but forgot one. Not a big deal but no apology for the oversight.

I enjoy going here. I went for mine and my boyfriends valentines date and it was perfect. I went this past weekend with some friends and the Service was not that great. I was disappointed. She was rude and wasn't paying to much attention to our table. That might have been the last time I will go.

Very reserved about going here bc of the bad reviews. They were supper busy but we got right in and our waiter was great. Meal came relatively quick for how busy they were and was exactly how we ordered it. We got a pan pizza and a stuffed pizza. Both were very good and the ingredients were very fresh. Very glad we tried it and would recommend it.

Been here many times in the past five years. Last Monday was the worst. Place was only one half-full but it took over an hour to get our food. Maybe they've lost their good service. Have to think about going back. Okay to add to review the manager emailed me and apologize for the poor service he even sent me a certificate for the next time I visit. Gota given him credit and will go back and try it again. Food is always good.

Best place to watch sports! And really delicious food! There are huge tvs so it is great for nfl sunday. There are many choices for food and the flavors are great. The service was excellent, even though it was very busy when we went. All in all, one of my favorite places to eat.

Consistently good lunches. A very large menu with great options in every food category. We devour the bread as soon as it hits the table. If you're coming to eat during a sports game, they got televisions with great viewing angles all over the restaurant. Fast service with a smile. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered here.

I Have to say this place is AMAZING! I came in with a crowd from Chicago and there was a wait because it was during a Bears Lions football game! Rob the GM was OUTSTANDING he assured us that the Lions fans would be nice as he sat us ALL together (26) in all! The service was awesome, great suggestions and the best was to order the "FARO" very close to Chicago deep dish. The Pizza was out of this world delicious! The beer was ice cold and the Giant Big Screens TV combined with a killer sound system made this a amazing dining experience! Stop in a Uccello's in Standale MI and tell them the Chicago connection sent you!!

We showed up here at 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. The place was about 1/4 full. Very large place with plenty of seating. We were seated and our waitress was fantastic! We didn't have to ask for anything, including refills. A BIG deviation from the norm in the GR area. We ordered the following: A 1/2 lb Oliver burger, Steak and cheese sub, and a chicken salad. All food was prepared quickly and correctly - It was very tasty. I will be back to this location again!

Ucello's has a diverse menu for a "Sports Lounge". I've never been disappointed, whether, I've had Steak or Pizza. Plus: Strombollis, Lunch Buffet (Included Prime Rib last time I was there) Minus: Too many TVs in the "Dining Area".

My wife and I love going to this Uccello's location! Great TV's, a good view of a big screen from just about any seat, and a HUGE bar. Servers have always been very polite and fast as well! Try the pizza puffs!

I come here with my friends a lot when we are in the mood for delicious Italian food. I also took my family here and they loved it. It's a little on the pricey side, but it is well worth it, the portions are huge and you could easily make at least two meals out of your dinner. I always get the tortellini or the pepperoni Stromboli. Strangely enough, they have a small section of the menu that offers Mexican food. I have had the burritos and those are quite tasty. You can choose to sit in the sports lounge or in the dining area, We usually opt for the dining area. The only reason I rated this place a four instead of a five is because the service the last time I went was not outstanding. And there you go.

I usually try not to visit "sports lounges" because I'm not much of a sports fan, so I couldn't care less about which team is winning/losing, who caught what pass, and all that stuff. Then Uccello's comes along to change the entire experience for me by serving up some of the best Italian food to be had in the west Michigan area. Maybe even THE best Italian food in the 616... There isn't a thing on this menu that I've tried that I didn't like - and I can be pretty nitpicky when it comes to my Italian food. What a lot of people don't understand is that Italian food is so much more than just noodles drowned in some cheap-o tomato sauce and this place has more than a few dishes that lean towards the more authentic ideals behind the cuisine. From the tortellini to the chicken piccata - practically everything is exactly what you would expect if not a little bit above its call of duty. Interior decorations inside the place are consistent with the sports lounge ideal, and that's one of the only areas that I felt was lacking. I'm not deducting any stars for it, because I understand why they did it that way... but there's something a little odd to me about eating some great Italian food while sitting in a really dark room with cement floors and exposed ceiling stuff (sorry... brain fart). Service here can be a little hit or miss depending on who your (usually very attractive) waitress is. Even if you do get stuck with a pretty crappy server, they can always be seen running around the open lounge area, so flagging them down is a pretty simple task. It could be an irritation if the food weren't so damn good and I wasn't having such a damn fun time whenever I'm in here - so be a little wary if that bothers you immensely. My best advice I can give about this place? Grab a big group of friends, go check it out, and find out that you'll probably never return to Olive Garden ever again. I mean, honestly, other than never-ending soup, salad, and breadsticks (come on, you cheapskate) why would you want to? Uccello's is clearly where it's at and you won't regret visiting this place one single bit.

So you'll have to read the entire review on why I can only give it two stars - for real. This place is not fine dining, I guess you could place it in the categories with Applebee's, Chili's, Logans, TGI Fridays. But with better food, atmosphere- & it's more expensive so you'd assume it would just be all around better. Eh - wrong. My friend & sister love this place & I'm from outta town & never been so I said I'd go. When we got there, it is not a seat your self, so we waited for someone to approach us, say "good evening", something - nothing. I get it they were busy, but you could at least say, "I'll be right with you". Finally a man (guessing a manager) asked if we had been helped, we hadn't, asked how many in our party, and if we wanted dining room or sports bar. We thought the dining room would be better considering I had my younger sister with me. He brought us to a table and said he'd be back with silverware. The whole room just had a great atmosphere, and I noticed it was really clean. The menu had a lot of options which was nice, everything from seafood, to pasta, to chicken, steak, salads, and a lot of appetizers and a good variety not just items you'd see at any one of those other chain restaurants. The waiter came by to take our drink order and brought them promptly. Then came back later to ask if we were ready to order. I did have a few questions which she was able to assist me with. I ordered this Marinara Sauce with cheese (for our appetizer) and it comes with toasted flat-bread - it was excellent. Then I ordered a "create your own pasta" with pesto sauce and chicken. STICK with what they offer on the menu instead of creating your own, I love pesto sauce and I took a few bites and did not want another. Pesto can be complex I suppose, but all the flavors did not mix at all. I was trying to eat off my friends Cheese Ravioli (GET IT!) it was amazing. I suppose the entrees came with choice of soup or salad it was not explained but the waitress just asked so I said Cesar salad. It was good traditional Cesar. Also, you have your choice of dinner roll or garlic bread - get the garlic bread, very good. They do have dessert options I wanted to try, but I was so full. FOOD here is excellent, other than the pasta, maybe my own mistake. SERVICE - She kept the drinks full but I get better going through a drive thru. Maybe that is harsh, but regardless how your day is going, or if you're tired or whatever - a paying customer who is tipping you should be given good service. Did not even have to be over the top, but a smile or "How are you doing this evening" would have been nice. She was not cheerful at all, nothing. I get it maybe she doesn't want to be a waitress, but you can fake it to make more money. This is why I only give 2 stars. I felt like she did not want us there. But again we were not acknowledged at the door by the hostess or manager. I will go back to eat - but it will be to another location.

Everything I have tasted here is good, though it is on the pricey side. The atmosphere is okay, but I certainly don't go there on big game nights, as sports don't interest me and it gets too loud for me to hear the people I'm with. And it does seem at times that they don't have enough waitstaff on at night.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
