Always great speedy service! We live very close by and since we moved in almost a year ago we've found ourselves coming back time and time again. This is one of the few Dairy Queen's that still carry the cotton candy blizzard.. My favorite!! They also have a drive thru which is handy, and a seating area. If your coming through it's a must-stop!
Best DQ I have ever been too! They load up their blizzards. The service is fast and friendly. The hot food is pretty good too!!!!
This place is fantastic. Not only does it have great service, but it gives you great deals and portion sizes. Undoubtedly the best Dairy Queen around here. I love this place.

Blue Collar Pizza

I was hanging out with some friends and it seems like everybody orders jets pizza by default around here (which is ok) but I was pushing for something different. So we gave blue-collar pizza try. The pizza was pretty good, but we all agreed that we thought the sauce was missing something. Now, the garlic knots were amazing and definitely would order those again. Our delivery girl was super sweet. All in all we would definitely order from these guys again.
We ordered from here last night and I have say their grinders sucked! Worse food I ever had!
I really wanted to like this place. I'm new to the area and wanted try something other than the big franchises in the area--some local independent places. In September I ordered a square mushroom pizza for pickup. When I got there, I noticed at least three very young children in the kitchen. The employee who rang up my order was carrying a toddler while giving me the change. I can understand not having a babysitter available, but having kids running around big pizza ovens can't be safe. Now onto the pizza. I'm a self-proclaimed expert at pizza and in my opinion, this one was terrible. The crust was overly doughy and not quite cooked all the way through. My biggest complaint was the sauce: it was just tomatoes. I couldn't taste any seasonings. Nothing. It seemed like they opened can of crushed tomatoes and spread it on the crust. I could've made a better pizza at home. I was very disappointed. Maybe they were having an off night, considering all the children running around, so I'll give them two stars. I don't think I'll try them again.

Was there with my two daughters and my wife last night, the food was amazing, as always ( been there about 6 or 7 times, now twice since they re opened). Even though they were packed, the service was diligent and attentive. From our table the girls could see the kitchen, and I believe it was the owner who even spun the pizza dough in the air to their delight. Great family night for all of us, as the girls had fun and pizza, and the wife and I had a very nice dinner in a very nice place.
Food was great! Our server, Tony, was very friendly, informative, entertaining and an all around great person to visit with. Anyone looking for a fire cooked pizza this is the place for you.
Fabulous! The antipasto salad was fresh & delicious. The Tivolis special wood brick oven pizza was terrific! One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I cannot wait to go back to try one of their other many types of pizza. Highly recommend this cute restaurant!

This is the best family style diner in the area, period. The atmosphere here is exactly what i'm looking for; big booths, bright windows and nothing looks like a dated 'Clock' restaurant. The food here is great and the menu is expansive, as a place like this should be. Don't be afraid of bringing a picky eater here, they have it all and don't mind custom orders. This is one of my Fish and Chips stops. I have many, but I come here time and again for the wonder fluffy Cod and crispy, hot fries. The Reuben is good too and if you have the option of soup or salad, get one of the soups and thank me later. Staff is lovely and attentive to a fault, never a dry coffee cup in the house. In fact, they bring you your own pot! I've been coming here since it opened and my only hope is that it stays open forever.
We went here for breakfast, and my opinion is relatively optimistic.. Although pancakes are rubbery and not as cakey as I'd prefer, they have an incredible spread of breakfast meats that come standard with their breakfast special... Bacon, sausage links, AND ham !?!!?.. absolutely!!... hash browns were ok, coffee was ok... I think this places is good enough to enjoy, but not necessarily for me to go out of my way to go there. Overall the ambience is comfortable and pleasant, 3 stars is what I give it =)
Excellent staff! Excellent home style cooking with care for sure. The gyros are great and the chicken Greek salad is amazing with their beet dressing. Highly recommend this establishment.

Made a online order said 45-55 mins was at my door in 30 mins tops! Now that's service, the pizza was perfectly cooked. The handmade pan pizza was actually very impressive taste wise. Tasted like a gourmet pizza didn't leave a piece of it behind!
Their pizza and prices are of good, standard quality. I also appreciated that they run the Large with 3 toppings for $7.99 deal all days of the week (many Domino's only do it Sun-Thurs). The chicken kickers are small and not a good deal. But recently I had a bad customer service experience. My Mom bought 2 pizzas on the way home, and she dropped one box after leaving the store. Of course pizzas don't survive drops well, but the fact that Domino's uses boxes that fall apart and flatten out so easily when opened, does not help either. She tried to go back and explain the situation in hopes they would show some humanity in their customer service. This is my 55-year old Mom, mind you - not some clumsy teenager. And we are long time customers. She had the box an messed up slices that fell out across the cold, wet, wintry ground also. The Domino's employees' answer was, "Sorry, we are not responsible for what happens to our pizza once it leaves the store." This was after she drove all the way back there with the receipt and dropped pizza. So basically it's a good, regaular Domino's - but with a lack of humanity in their customer service. Pretty sad when we have spent hundreds over the years here as loyal customers. Out of principle and BAD customer service I will never be visiting this Domino's again.
I'm Helmi Younan and I just ordered a Honolulu pizza and hot wings and delivery was fast and on time .... the pizza was very good and the wings were awesome and spicy !!!!!!!!!! no complaints ...but I still like Hungry Howies better

Sam’s Sorrento Pizza

Reviews:
Fantastic pizza and subs. They use thick pepperoni that tastes oh so good! The guy who runs the day shift (he may be the owner, I'm not sure) is really friendly and always provides good service.
I have tried about 6 of the pizza deliveries in the area and I come back to Sam's Sorrento Pizza every time. They have dinners and pizza, subs and pasta. The chicken tenders dinner is delicious (my toddler approves!) and all white meat - but I do ask they hold the salt on the fries. I recently had the 1/2 slab rib dinner and it was very good. The sauce had some heat, some sweetness, and was slathered on like it should be. Only downside? I didn't get to chose short or long end. Fries are crinkle cut and coleslaw is great. The little piece of garlic bread is a great addition to the meal. You will probably have leftovers. Let's talk pie. I have only ordered the traditional pepperoni pizza, but it's perfect. Great sauce, not too much or little; traditional "cup" pepperoni, and cheese is ample without overpowering. The crust is slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside - also the perfect thickness. The service, price, quality, and taste of Sam's Sorrento Pizza is what keeps me ordering from them and not another. With a variety of options on the menu, I don't think I will ever get "bored."
Just had the urge to try something different tonight around 8:11 pm Typed in Pizza -Utica on my mobile yelp app & this was one of several around & one place that I have not tried. I called asked about any specials on a small one item , no sir but we do have a large 3 topping & a large cheese bread for $14 Ahhh...dining for one..so whats the price on a small square 1 item? $8.25 So I ordered a small square, pepperoni , double sauce garlic crust & sesame seed crust as well. He said see you in 20 minutes. Showed up & it was ready as promised,John was very friendly & even showed off his old school ovens from the 1970's versus all the places that do conveyor belt pizzas . Shook his hand & thanked him for the pie. Got it home & as the picture shows it was very nicely presented , old style curled up pepperonis & plenty of cheese & Flavored crust. The sauce, dough & pepperonis truly reminded me of the Sorrentos at 9/Vandyke but unsure if the are connected.

Hogs Hollow Smokehouse

I'm a fan. This place does all it can to be a great bar. First of all, it's got two levels. So you can be chill at the downstairs bar or you can get rowdy at the upstairs bar. Sometimes in the summer they even add an outdoor bar. The upstairs is larger, with a bar/dance floor area and then a seating area with a fireplace. Honestly, it's really well set up. There's a DJ on Saturday nights and always a little bit of dancing going on. I've always found the service here to be pretty good. There are only about three bars in downtown Utica, so I've been here quite a bit. Food is delicious for a bar. A friend hosted a catered birthday party here once as well, and the food was even good catered for a group. Have to give a shout out to the loaded chili. This is hands down the best chili you will ever have. It's topped with cheese and giant chunks of bacon. You literally cannot go wrong ordering this dish at any time of the day.
My friend and I came In here yesterday for dinner and drinks. We arrived around 7pm and sat at the bar. We were greeted immediately and got out drinks quickly without having to wait, which is awesome! We ordered the feast which is all 5 meats and two sides. Everything was so good! So much flavor in all the meats! It was pulled chicken, pulled pork, hot sausage, ribs and brisket! Everything is smoked on site and you can really tell a difference. We will be back!
I came here the other day after a commercial I heard on Really?!, the Internet radio show on caveradiobroadcasting.com , and it was amazing. The motor city sauce paired well with every meat I had on the ultimate feast. The macaroni and cheese was great and I couldn't get enough of the sweet potato fries when I dipped them in the Alabama sauce. Quick side note on that ultimate feast platter. It definitely is enough for two but the pulled pork was my main surprise. Usually a pulled pork will be fatty, but not this one. They have a decent draught selection but the Michigan liquors are what caught me off guard. Just about every one offered they have. Definitely check this place out. I'm a fan and I'll be back.

Biggby Coffee

Reviews:
Restrooms are gross, makes me question overall cleanliness of this place. No napkins around or any self-serve coffee station for condiments, seemed understaffed for sure. I did like the large seating capacity and it was spacious. That's about it.
Biggby's gets bonus points for their friends staff and consistent quality. That said, their drinks are on the espresso-light side and often taste more like flavored milk than a coffee beverage to me. On the bright side, they have killer 7 layer bars and I love the fact that they offer a breakfast bagel with havarti cheese (one of my favorites). I love supporting Michigan businesses, and have nothing bad to say about Biggby. I just wish I had more good to say. Overall though? Perfectly adequate coffee shop.
It's my first time to try Biggby coffee and I like it so much , specially the cherry coffee , also the place is warm and friendly with relaxing music .

Reviews:
4 stars for the drinks and 1 dinged off star for the chicken tenders looking and tasting like chicken nuggets. The chicken tenders were thin and small with a lot of breading. They make the best sangria's I have ever tasted. The Sangria is excellent because it comes in a nice large glass and is filled with a sweet, smooth wine and plenty of fresh fruit. A lot of restaurants leave out the fresh fruit or they just add one or two pieces of fruit. This Applebee's cuts the fruit to an appropriate size and adds lots of it. I had a glass of sauvignon Blanc, it was served chilled and it only cost me $3.00 because it was happy hour. Our server, Eric, was excellent. The decor is fun but the booths are starting to show their age with the seats caving in and backs pushing out. Overall this is a great place to meet friends or dine with family.
Megan was an excellent server. Mark came and checked how our dining experience was. The Carmel Pretzel desert was delicious!
Love this place, eat here at least once a week, keep the menu changes coming. I had the maple bacon chicken piadini, wife had the half rack of ribs, kids had chicken strips, we all left full and satisfied with the service with lunch for the next day.

Buscemis

Utica, 48317
Reviews:
I have been to almost every Buscemis in the area multiple times and prefer this one to all others. I eat pizza at least 5 times a week. I gave 4/5 because sometimes the round slices could use an extra minute or 2 in the oven. Great cheese sticks, round or square slices and of course the ranch and pizza sauce is amazing. You guys need to start selling bottles of ranch. All the employees are great to me. Never had any issues. The place recently has been totally remodeled and it is very nice and always clean. Note- ask for the slice you want. Otherwise your going to get the one you didn't want. But I guess some people don't care. I just like to pick out my slices.
Excellent staff, huge selection of liquor! One of the best steak sub rolls I've ever had get it with a side of ranch! Pizza here is better then other buscemis!
Fast , Convenient & Friendly Plus they always have a tray of two of slices ready to go. Thin Crust with pepperoni & ham & Thick Crust with pepperoni & ham Calzones/Pizza rolls are also very good, especially the steak one And I still love their famous torpedo . ..
