My wife and I love to take little road trips up to Zimmyville every once in a while. Always great service. Burgers and sandwiches are great, beer's cold, and if you stand at the bar (no bar stools here!) you'll find the regulars very friendly. Well worth the trip!

This is a small , but lively little pub. The tavern is a gathering place for locals and lake goers alike. A loud and festive atmosphere can be found here where the beer flows freely at the only standing bar I've seen. There are tables for diners who can order from a limited selection of burgers, sandwiches, and fried fish. The food is average, the service is adequate, but the strong suit of this establishment is the local atmosphere. The tavern has a long standing reputation and tradition as a "The" place nestled near these little lakes. It was nice...not great, but nice. The food value was on par with most bar food...nothing special in regards to the board of fare. I would recommend stopping by just to claim you have been to the "infamous" Zimmy's Tavern.

Zimmy's is great. Being from Elkhart, just south of the Michigan border and close to Union, I used to hit up this place because it was the best kept secret dive in the greater Michiana area. Zimmy's is tucked away on a lake in the middle of nowhere in Union Michigan. Great time for some cheap shots, fun live music, and some dirty dancing w/ the local girls. Etown lacked a truly great dive like this one. One day I will make it back to relive the glory days.

Nice place with good bar food. They also serve breakfast with great Bloody Marys. The burgers are big and flavorful and the staff is fun and friendly. It's a fun place to meet friends and hangout. The bar area is well stocked and all the prices are really reasonable.

This place had good live music when we came on a Sunday. Our waitress had a bad attitude, which sucked. The food was really good. The ride to get here was beautiful. I'll be back for sure!
