Had lunch with my aunt here & was solidly impressed! The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing, & fancy. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients (lunches around $10, some dinner items in the $20 range). This would be a lovely location for a date or celebration. The menu wasn't terribly vegetarian friendly & I don't recall any vegan options. I imagine that the staff would happily accommodate dietary restrictions, but I can't say for sure. Our server was friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the warm brie appetizer: panko-encrusted baked brie served with stewed strawberries, greens, & balsamic reduction-drizzled bread. Hard to go wrong with that combo! My aunt had the French dip sandwich, which she says is her go-to. I tried some of her rosemary-parmesan fries - great flavor but could've been warmer & crispier. I had the rocket salad with fennel, apple, aged manchego, & marcona almonds (it also has prosciutto but I got that on the side to take home to some carnivores, a.k.a. my cats). It was perfectly dressed & beautifully plated. We left feeling very happy & full!

We go here rather regularly (2-4 times a month) for the last year. The food is consistently quite good. Rather the quality is always excellent, but the portion sizes do seem to vary. The chef will even accommodate my vegetarian husband requests. Service is typically good, but the last few trips there have been some newer waitresses who aren't as customer service-y as the regular wait staff. With that, I do adore this restaurant and can't believe its here in Tecumseh. Wine night wednesday is half off bottles, which is lovely as we live a walkable 4 blocks away. While I would love to give them 5 stars they recently raised their prices, and not just like some dishes $1-2, most dishes went up and many dishes went up $3-4. This has bumped it out of our regularly weekly dinner rotation as its pricey to begin with but we thought it was worth it for the food and experience. But now with its current prices its more of a special night out restaurant. Which is a shame as I am sure I am not the only local who will be dining here less frequently. Its priced too high for the town its based in.

The service was great. The Bloody Mary martini had an odd taste to it. We waited a bit too long for our food. My scallops were very good. However, the ravioli they came with were only lukewarm. My husband's fluke fish special of the day was only so-so. The homemade chocolate ice cream was excellent. We'd go back to give it another chance.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Evans Street Station. From making the reservation to paying the bill was an utter pleasure. I cannot thank them enough for saving our Thanksgiving. It has been craziness in my family. My husband is working long hours, I am working too many days. Nothing is getting done, the basics maybe but beyond that is impossible. Our shiny new car was murdered in an accident and suddenly our only free time to plan and execute a Thanksgiving celebration was gone. Normally this is my mother's job but she has been extremely unwell so I was going to take on the challenge. That meant I was now completely overwhelmed. I turned to Yelp and found Evans Street Station. It was well reviewed and had a tasty sounding menu for the holiday. Yes, it was a hike, but we were desperate. I called and of course got an answering machine. My hours are impossible. No worries though, an angel returned my call, gave me a reservation and reassured me about everything. After a long drive through the set of children of the corn we made it to Tecumseh. We were greeted with a charming little town and a reassuringly nice restaurant. We were too early for our reservation but they found us a beautiful table by the fire within a couple of minutes. The staff was very welcoming and personable. Our lovely waiter came and provided refreshments in a flash. They have a diverse beer, wine and cocktail list but they also have great iced tea and non alcoholic drinks too. Woohooo. He also explained the set up to us as holiday newbies. Everything is arranged buffet style. We started with a bit of appetizer, jumbo shrimp with a bloody mary cocktail sauce, excellent cheeses (especially the dill havarti) and crackers. This was followed with some salads; a mixed green with goat cheese, apple, brioche croutons and balsamic and a romaine and radicchio based caesar with parmesano reggiano and house made croutons. They also featured a potato chowder with crispy bacon and chives to spruce it up with. It all added up to a great start. They had the usual suspects for holiday supper; turkey, pecan stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish and of course mac and cheese. All were nice renditions, well prepared, nicely seasoned and delicious. The gravy here though absolutely blew me away. You could put their gravy on anything and be delighted. Seriously tasty and I am a gravy snob. Another happy surprise was the prime rib. Good lord this was the best prime rib I have had in an age and it is from a fricking holiday buffet? Blood rare to medium rare and just melt in your mouth amazing. A bit of horseradish set it off to perfection. The salmon they featured with a beurre blanc was pretty incredible too. I looked around the table at one point during the meal and I knew what they were thinking, "this is so much better than Liz's cooking"! I can't blame them, I was thinking the exact same thing myself. We stuffed ourselves silly with dessert. The coolest thing was the dessert table featured a bunch of minis. I love that because I can sample more. They had bite sized cheesecake, spice cake, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filled baby cannoli, peanut butter tarts, raspberry tarts, chocolate covered strawberries and a bowl of marinated fresh fruit. Oh my goodness, the star of the show though was a giant pan of apple crisp. This apple crisp was crunchy and warm and just the perfect amount of sweetness, topped off to your liking with house made whipped cream. It was sin on a spoon and I did not hesitate to dive in. I am normally not an apple crisp girl but the freshness and the texture just won me over for life. The only clunkers were some too hard rolls (which is no biggie for me) and a table full of loud anti-semites who thought their rude jokes were amusing. They weren't. Not the restaurants fault at all though and luckily they departed soon after we arrived. We will return, not a doubt. I want more of this happy food. The staff and management here could not have been any nicer or more helpful. If the buffet is this good, it can only get better from there.

What an amazing class "A" place! Beth, one of the owners is always there to greet you with a smile and a warm welcome and goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. They have an open kitchen where you can watch her partner Chef Alan work his culinary magic, I like kitchens that are this way as I feel it shows they take pride in their work and have nothing to hide. I love that I can go there for a special formal occasion but also be able to go after work for a casual Happy Hour martini and some of their amazing hors d'oeuvres on the patio. They are also very reasonably priced for the 5 star food & service they never cease to deliver every time I visit!

I had the pleasure of eating here a few months ago and loved every second of it! We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and sit outside, which was a great choice with the nice seating they offer out back. I don't remember what everyone else ordered, but my pork tenderloin was phenomenal! The presentation of the food was very aesthetically pleasing, and the flavor made my taste buds VERY happy :) Chef Alan made a visit to our table, which made us feel like VIP (although, I'm sure this was normal protocol)! I have nothing but great things to say about ESS and can't wait to make it over there, again!

This is the best Restraunt in Lenawee County-period. We have been here over a dozen times over the past few years and never been disappointed. Oh sure you can pay less and possibly get larger servings, but for a great meal at competitive prices ESS can not be beat.

Like a lot of my favorite restaurants, I will on occasion order things I just don't like. It happens! It's a sign that things are being made by real human beings! Heck, how many times have you made a meal at home that was just not right? We made the EASY drive from Toledo to Tecumseh last night (Saturday) for a dinner at Evans Street Station. I've never been to Tecumseh before, and was surprised at how quaint and approachable the downtown appeared. I look forward to exploring the downtown in the future. Arriving right on time for our 7pm reservations, the front of the house seemed to not be ready for us. We stood around for a little less than ten minutes to be seated, and I thought it odd that when we arrived at our table there were several other empty tables. I was also a bit put off by the table we were seated at. The lighting on our table was BRIGHT, like spot light level bright. Oddly, most of the tables around us were barely lit at all. It was a little unsettling to be lit up so much. The service was great and attentive. We placed our orders, and were promptly served an "amuse bouche" which frankly wasn't good. A sesame chicken asian inspired bite that just didn't hit any mark. We ordered a sampler appetizer platter which included their Charleston Crab Cakes, Ginger Beef Wontons and Panko Dusted Warm Brie Cheese. Everything on the plate was deeeelicious. The whole table enjoyed their flavorful bites. All items would be a great starter for any meal. Our salads were awesome. My wife loved her "Petite Greens" salad, and my Caesar Salad with extra white anchovies was phenomenal. They go really heavy on their creamy dressing and the whole dish was extremely satisfying. As for our entrees... this is where my disappointment set in. I ordered the Seared Scottish Salmon, which came with truffled white bean ravioli, hen of the woods (mushroom), broccoli and puree of braised cardoon. My fish felt more deep fried then seared. It was crispy, but completely overcooked and under-seasoned. The broccoli was overcooked and not seasoned at all. The puree of cardon was absolutely flavorless and the ravioli's pasta was way too thick, too al dente and the filling was bland and barely truffled. My wife's Fettuccine Reggiano suffered from similar problems. I had a bite and it was tangy, and that's about it. The noodles were too thick, clumping together from a lack of sauce and just not very well seasoned. A light cream sauce or even butter would have gone a long way. It was a completely underwhelming dish. As I began to question why this place had such incredible reviews (both online, and word of mouth) I was offered a bite of my friend's Roasted Duck Breast. And that's where my opinion of Evans Street Station completely changed. Served on french toast, with mascarpone, apple butter jam, parsnips, & michigan maple... holy shit it was delightful! After swallowing my bite I declared that my friend clearly made the best choice of the night, and everyone agreed. I realize it was probably foolish to order Scottish Salmon when eating at a farm to table restaurant in Michigan. Next time I visit (and there will certainly be a next time) I am going to try and order things more appropriate for the theme of the restaurant. That said, there were clearly issues with some of the things we ordered. My dish just wasn't very good, and neither was my wife's. As with all of my favorite restaurants, there are dishes they offer I don't like. It was unfortunate that on my first visit to Evans Street Station that we just so happened to order those items. Next time, I hope to be more successful!

I've got to admit, I am impressed with this little restaurant in the Middle of Nowhere Michigan. Can I just say how much more I love a restaurant when they fill their taplines with delicious and interesting beers? It takes some balls to decide that there's no room for MGD or BudLight taps (but they do have Labalt!). Well they had Dragonmead's Final Absoution on tap (mmmm), I was definitely impressed. They had a lot of Bells and generally pleasing beers to the standard American palate (no really heavy Belgian beers here!). Cute place, friendly staff. Their fryer wasn't working for some reason at the time we ordered, so the fries could not be fried, instead they brought us a "side salad" as per our replacement request. It was not a "side salad" it was practically 1/2 of an entree. Awesome salad, really nicely balanced. After we got our sandwiches, we were told that the fryer was back up and ready, so the rosemary Parmesan fries were on their way! The cynic in me thought, "OK, well they just botched that but now I'm going to get charged for that side salad!" Nope! No charge for the salads. Just an amazing waitstaff that is really all about the customer. Since the kitchen is in the middle of everything, on my way out, one of the chefs asked how I liked my burger (a kobe beef burger). I really liked this. I've never had a chance to REALLY interact with the person who made my food after a meal before. I mean, yeah, taken around Charlie Trotter's kitchen post-12 course meal gorge is one thing ... but to have a chef really curious as to how you liked their meal -- asking you from THEIR kitchen -- is pretty damn cool. I can't say I'll be back (as... I live in Detroit), but I can say if you live in Ypsi or A2 to get your butt down to Tecumsah. This place is refreshingly refined and a nice change of pace. Worth the drive!

Great restaurant! Food is amazing. Hate that they put food together in the window and do it as things are ready and do not make sure all food for each plate is ready at the same time. My fish was cold because of this. I did not send it back because it wasn't worth it. Tasted great cold.

I can not say enough positive things about this restaurant. Our family group of 15 people enjoyed an amazing Thanksgiving dinner here. Not only was the food just incredible, but the service was spectacular. We had kids, elders, picky eaters; we were generally a large, loud, family group, and the servers were gracious with everyone. Additionally, two members of our group are gluten-free, and the chef came out to talk with us about what on the buffet was and wasn't gluten free, then sent gluten-free versions of turkey and green beans directly to our table. A tremendous meal. Highly recommended.

I have heard so many great things about this place I was expecting more. The waitstaff was very nice and it had nice ambiance but for the price the food should have been better.

My husband and I are working through our" bucket list" of restaurants before we leave Ann Arbor (so sad), and we had heard Evan St was a destination restaurant. I picked a first friday b/c they have live music, but upon arrival, we discovered it was a pretty lousy cover duet singing bad renditions of the Doobie Bros. Plus, the patio is uninspiring in its appearance, esp when you're about to spend a good deal of $ on food. We chose to sit inside, which is tasteful and comfortable. We were served an amuse bouche of tomatoes and beets w/ truffle oil and scallions. Simple but nice. The wine list was so so, and I just had strawberry lemonade. We split the arugula salad (nice but not enough prosciutto) and the seasonal veggie puree soup, which was the best thing we had. We waited forever for our entrees, and the waitress looked distraught but asked if there was anything she could do to make our wait more tolerable (ummm...like maybe comp the meal or something!). I got the duck which was too salty, but the fiddleheads were fun. My hubby got the special CA white bass (recommended by Monterey Bay as a great choice fish), and it was subtle in flavor and a bit overcooked. the mashed potatoes were lumpy, but he really liked the chanterelles. We passed on dessert since we didn't want to wait any longer for anything. Maybe it was an off night just before July 4th weekend, but that may be giving them the benefit of the doubt. Whatever the cause of so-so food, we definitely won't be making the 50 minute trek back out this way again for Evan St.

Our family went for Christmas Eve dinner. Nine adults and two small children. I was hesitant because I had seen that it said the restaurant was not good for kids. That could not be more wrong! The wait staff was so friendly and very attentive to the children. The children's menu is great. The Mac and cheese is super yummy as are the chicken strips. And my son, the connoisseur of chocolate milk, was thoroughly impressed with the chocolate milk. I came prepared with crayons and coloring books and it was great! The grown ups all enjoyed their food, I did not hear a single complaint. The cheese plate is excellent. The Bloody Martini is worth a try! Thanks for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner, Evans Street Station!!

Today is Thanksgiving and I just arrived back from having a truly wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. It's hard to come by places that are more than just your average joe kind of establishments opened on this holiday. I'm not one to cook and I convinced my partner to have a dining out experience this holiday. When I did searching around the area for places to go, this one came up and I made reservations at it several months back. The cost was $32.50 per person and it was worth every penny. I've been to many buffets before in my life, even holiday based ones, and this by far was one of the best I've ever had. Each item on it was individually crafted and had a twist to it. I especially enjoyed the fuji apple vinaigrette salad and the butternut squash soup. At the end of the meal I asked to speak to the chef and enjoyed a few minutes getting to know him. Both my partner and I plan on going back for a regular dining experience soon and I can definitely say we'll be there again next Thanksgiving!

This place is great. Hidden in downtown Tecumseh Michigan in a renovated firehouse is a real gem. I was very impressed at the amazing selection of top shelf liquor and the great selection of beers. No Budweiser , MGD crap here. Which is very surprising since it is in the little hick town of Tecumseh ( dont hate, i grew up here!) Probably 85 percent of this town will only drink bud. If you are around town on lunch, get my personal favorite which is the smoked salmon club sandwhich on Ciabatta bread. The menu changes for dinner quite often and always has fresh local and new items. Also I am pretty sure that I could live for a few years simply off of their Chowder. Very Nice. Do not pass through T-Town without making a stop here.

My brother-in-law suggested the Evans Street Station. We took him up on his offer to drive and we had a very pleasant and relaxing evening there recently. The food was very good - similar in menu to The Root Restaurant in White Lake - and we would go there again if it wasn't so far away (70 miles). But if you're in the mood to drive, or live in the Tecumseh area - add this to your dining list!

In the sleepy town of Tecumseh lies a farm-to-table dining experience that Ann Arborites could envy. Evans Street Station has everything going for it: great food, good service, a talented chef, and menu that changes with the seasons. The commitment in procuring locally-sourced food and beverages is evident in the selection of farm cheeses, microbrews, and even in the choice to use Ann Arbor's Eden Organic brand quinoa. Formerly the town's fire station, Evans Street Station offers a beautiful atmosphere that includes a cozy fireplace. As you walk in, you pass the exhibition kitchen and get a preview of the delicious foods to come. The only knock against this place is that it is out of the way. Fortunately, Ann Arbor Yelpers can try the restaurant's sister location, The Glass House Cafe, located in U of M's Palmer Commons. Grange Kitchen and Bar recently opened in Ann Arbor with the local food movement, and it has a lot to do to compete with Evans Street Station.

I just got back from Evans Street Station, and man was it good. We have been meaning to visit this place for the past year since we heard about it, but never had the chance to make the drive until tonight. Out of all the places I have lived from NYC to LA, I can honestly say I have never had a better meal in a restaurant. My wife felt the same and we are very picky. We started with a bottle of Shiraz and the Brie, We could not believe how good the brie was the way they cooked it. My wife had the Tenderloin that she thought was great, and I had the Lamb Shanks special that was very generous proportioned and it melted in my mouth. For dessert we split a Lava Cake and Cappuccino Crème Brûlée, I also had a port with dessert. The portions are generous so we got what we could not finish wrapped up, I just hope they will be half as good reheated as they were fresh. The food presentation was the best I have seen in metro Detroit and I have eaten at all the so called top restaurants in the area. Tribute has nothing on this place and Tribute is triple the price. I lived in NYC for 6 years and can not think of a meal I had there that rivaled this one. The staff was very nice and made our experience that much better, I find that it is so hard to find that now days. We are going to make Evans Street Station a regular stop. I just wish it was a little closer to Metro Detroit, but in the summer time it will be a great relaxing drive. I can't wait to get back and taste the rest of the menu. I wish yelp had more stars for places like this. Evans Street Station is truly a hidden gem that everyone needs to find.

An unexpected really nice dining experience in Tecumseh. Very professional, proficient and attentive staff, really nice menu / good food. Dress in jeans or your best power suit, you're sure to fit in. There is bar seating and a really nice dining room. Prior to bringing you your food, they offer an "amuse" which we are not fans... but if you like that sort of thing, it's like getting a "special" gift from your chef. Oh, there's a great patio outside too. We often go for dinner and a few drinks, then head across the street to Muk's Sports Pub (formerly Wrong Ways) for a few more drinks and to check out the locals.

A real gem tucked into a beautiful small town! Do yourself a favor and get a table at Evans Street Station and enjoy the slow food movement en route to your table. My husband and I spent our 1 year anniversary in Tecumseh; we stayed in the loft at The Chicago Street Suites, a really cute B & B owned by the local coffee shop, The Daily Grind, and I made reservations for a Saturday night supper at Evans Street. We were not disappointed! We started with the duck gnocchi, mushrooms and boursin sauce (I believe?) Out of this world! I'm a fan of all things duck, wild mushrooms and boursin, so this dish was a no brainer for us. And unique! That's what I'm looking for in a farm to table restaurant. The ingredients are incredible to begin with, but the artistry with which different dishes layer flavors and textures, that's what makes an experience! We paired our entrees (the Japanese-inspired Duck and the panko crusted Pork tenderloin) with a plate of mixed wild mushrooms (whooweee--the flavors ranged from sweet and musty to deep, soil earthy, to smoky and refreshing) and a ginger martini (duck) and pomegranate martini (pork). My husband thought his duck was a work of art; I really liked my pork tenderloin, but was most impressed with the shredded, brandied carrots when combined with the meat and the potato side. For dessert, Evans Street did the kindest thing, and brought us a dessert of our choice on the house. We split the profiteroles with vanilla ice cream, and were so stuffed we could barely get home. Lucky the B&B was one block away! Also, mad props to our server, who guided and suggested and generally made our experience so pleasant, delicious and restful. Go you, Evans Street! Thank you for a delightful 1st year supper!

Very nice atmosphere, fast and friendly servers. The butternut squash soup was the best I have tried! Food was outstanding and presentation was artful. Extensive drink list. The steaks were done exactly as ordered, the reduction was sharp and sweet. Highly recommended. Price was just a little high, food was worth it!

Happy Hour - Oberon event. I met a girlfriend at the bar for the happy hour and for the Oberon event. We had a bottle (or two) of the rose sparkling wine, toasted honey martini, and had to have an Oberon somewhere in there. Getting there at 3pm was a good choice, as the place quickly filled up by 5pm, though we enjoyed having the bartender's undivided attention until the rush. Friendly and knowledgeable, she was great with the recommendations. We ordered two rounds of appetizers, as they are half off for Happy Hour. Panko brie, crab cake, Ginger Beef won tons, and gnocchi. Beautiful presentations and quality food, but there was just something about each dish that, we felt, took the flavor profile a little too far. Little tweaks and the food would be outstanding. Seems people love or hate the food, there is no in between. Well, I am going to be an in between for now. Brie - was perfect, no comment there. Get it, it's a great appetizer. Crab Cake - the potato straws gave a nice texture to the bite, but was cumbersome and detracted from the delicate flavor of the crab cake. The aioli on the bottom of the plate was too strong and conflicting too. Crab cake itself was excellent, large and flavorful. The pile of potato straws holds it up off the aioli so we could avoid it. Won tons - Were dry, filling needs fat for flavor and moisture inside the won ton. LOVED the ginger flavor. Gnocchi - the dumplings themselves were perfect. It takes real talent to make good gnocchi and chef must have talent in spades, back in the kitchen. This was my favorite. The mushrooms and quail egg on top really make the dish. The asparagus puree took it over the edge though. I would still order it again, but hope for a tweak. We decided to cash out and let others have our seats, as the bar was four people thick by 5:30. The bill was $115, and we knew what we were getting into and really enjoyed our visit. We will be back, but early in the day again, and perhaps when the patio opens this summer.

I have been meaning to try this highly recommended restaurant. Finally made it out to ESS this weekend. Started with a signature cocktail, grapefruit and basil, yum! The menu looked awesome and my guest and I decided to share a few items. We got the Brie appetizer and polished off every bite, amazing! The amuse bouche was tasty as well with arugula, fennel and sweet orange. We had the rich carrot ginger soup and wontons as well. My favorite was our salad. The tomato and beet gem. The capers were deep fried and made the dish out of this world! We finished with sharing the Beef tenderloin entree. Seriously the most tender cut of meat I have ever encountered, cooked perfectly. The service was top notch; friendly, polite, attentive, yet non obtrusive. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming with class and elegance. The executive chef and manager were seen on the floor on a several occasions checking on guests and welcoming them, a great sign about the care and passion they have for their craft/work. I look forward to my next visit. Worth the drive from Ann Arbor.

We went here last week for a little birthday lunch action. We usually go to Mac's in Saline b/c they offer the nice free meal on your birthday. This year we decided on something different - and we're all glad that we did. The place is pretty big, but there is a nice fireplace in there to keep you warm in the winter (and we needed it - boy it's been cold!). I had a half sandwich w/ their soup. I ended up with the special sandwich (turkey rueben) and winter squash soup (soup of the day). They were both excellent, and well worth the $10. My dad just got the turkey rueben, which comes w/ fries (these weren't the best - too soft and not hot enough). The pulled pork sandwich was also excellent. The cole slaw on there is super fresh. Our waitress was as cute as can be too... attentive and nice. Filled our water w/o us having to ask. They have 4 or 5 Michigan beers on tap. They have a bunch of other beers in bottles too. The wine list is decent, but there really needs to be some $5 glasses on there. Maybe $6 would be okay, but the cheapest one I saw was $8 - and it went up from there. That's just a little too high-priced for me. Overall lovely place. Again, it amazes me that places like this exist in such small towns (same w/ Clinton Inn). Really great food for being in such a small town. Very homey and welcoming, and a little on the higher end side, but worth the cash. FYI: The parking (and entrance) are in the back.

We were traveling in the area, looking for a lunch place, and stopped here based on Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed at the door with a friendly smile and reassured that our casual dress (jeans) were just fine. The menu options were delightful. I had the soup of the day (yummy purée of yellow squash & zucchini - so well seasoned!) and half a sandwich (toasted smoked turkey & Brie on bread from a local bakery). Very satisfying. We shared a generous dish of blueberry sorbet for dessert. All of us were impressed and would definitely return. Service was also excellent.

We found this restaurant on the Yelp app. The menu looked interesting so we made reservations and decided to try it out. I had the shared Antipasti as first course and the special pan seared striped bass with sea green beans as my entree. Both were excellent. Had tea with the meal; the hot water could have been a bit hotter and I would have liked it if the restaurant offered stevia as a sweetener. Nose level was about average. We could hear each other most of the time. Nice touch was a free coat check.

The description of 3 stars on yelp is a-ok, and that's what I felt this restaurant was. Atmosphere: relaxed, trendy, great. Cool artwork. Service: prompt and polite but not overbearing. Major plus. Worth mentioning: they have a great gluten free menu! Food: I was a little disappointed, I'll be honest. The "jumbo" sea scallops weren't that big, and I thought the dish was a little overpriced as a result. In addition, they were probably the most over-cooked sea scallops I've ever had. The noodles and arugula on the side were fantastic (though the arugula was a tad heavy) and made the dish not a total loss, but I was really disappointed by the scallops. All around an a-okay experience. If I went back and got a better dish, I would probably bump this up to a 4-star review.

You won't be disappointed stopping here. Food and service was very good. Parking is the most difficult in this little town but you can enjoy the walk looking at all the little stores and shops.

I cannot say enough good things about Evans Street Station! Excellent food and service on every visit. It is definitely a hidden gem, and worth the drive to Tecumseh. Of course, I may be biased to this hometown favorite. All of their food is fresh and flavorful! Try the potato chowder soup, it is ah-mazing. All of the entrees I've had have had great taste and quality, and fair sized portions for a restaurant of this caliber. In the summer they offer sangria flights, and I believe you can get beer flights year round, mostly michigan brews. They have a nice, inviting atmosphere, intimate but also large enough to accommodate a group. The tables are well spaced so you never feel crowded with other parties. Good for date night or a nice outing with the family. We frequent it for birthday and graduation celebrations. Service is friendly and attentive. Bottoms line: a little pricey for the Tecumseh market, but definitely worth the money for quality.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Was in Adrian on business and was told I couldn't leave without visiting Evan Street Station. I am glad I didn't. Started with a pumpkin pie martini. The concept was good and the drink was well made, it was just a little too creamy for me. Started the meal with the Shrimp and Mushroom Risotto. 2 pieces of perfectly cooked shrimp on top of spinach, butternut squash and bacon. Shrimp was seasoned wonderfully and the Risotto melted in my mouth. Main course was Dijon Crusted Pork Tenderloin. I can only describe it by saying it was absolutely delicious. The honey reduction was out of this world. Ended with the homemade pineapple upside down cake. Cake was delicate and moist with good chucks of pineapple. This meal was so great I would probably get the same thing if I returned. And I will certainly return if I'm back to Adrian on business.

Held our wedding reception here, the venue and staff were flawless and the food was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day.

A very elegant menu for 'Foodies'. A 'bit' of each. If looking to taste great culinary artistry, this is the place. If you are looking for a place to 'fill you up', this isn't. For Foodies, this place is 5 Star.
