Love the breakfast here!! The ingredients are fresh as can be and the wait staff is polite as one could ask for. I go to this place every time I am in town. I ordered the breakfast special ($3.99!!!) and it came with two eggs - hash browns - bacon - or whatever meat I wanted... And pancakes!!!!! Cheaper than grocery shopping!
I stopped here with friends after visiting the nearby quilt shop, on the other side of the big parking lot. The wait staff is friendly. One lady seated us and another took our orders. I asked for water without ice, but it arrived with ice anyway. Oh, well. But the food arrived quickly, tasted great and is a good value for your hard earned cash. The menu has a senior section. I'd call this a family restaurant. A place to meet friends.
My favorite place in town for breakfast! The servers here are very attentive, the coffee is always nice and hot, and the Eggs Benedict is spectacular :) You'll be here a bit longer during "rush hour", but it's worth it.

Had lunch with my aunt here & was solidly impressed! The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing, & fancy. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients (lunches around $10, some dinner items in the $20 range). This would be a lovely location for a date or celebration. The menu wasn't terribly vegetarian friendly & I don't recall any vegan options. I imagine that the staff would happily accommodate dietary restrictions, but I can't say for sure. Our server was friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the warm brie appetizer: panko-encrusted baked brie served with stewed strawberries, greens, & balsamic reduction-drizzled bread. Hard to go wrong with that combo! My aunt had the French dip sandwich, which she says is her go-to. I tried some of her rosemary-parmesan fries - great flavor but could've been warmer & crispier. I had the rocket salad with fennel, apple, aged manchego, & marcona almonds (it also has prosciutto but I got that on the side to take home to some carnivores, a.k.a. my cats). It was perfectly dressed & beautifully plated. We left feeling very happy & full!
We go here rather regularly (2-4 times a month) for the last year. The food is consistently quite good. Rather the quality is always excellent, but the portion sizes do seem to vary. The chef will even accommodate my vegetarian husband requests. Service is typically good, but the last few trips there have been some newer waitresses who aren't as customer service-y as the regular wait staff. With that, I do adore this restaurant and can't believe its here in Tecumseh. Wine night wednesday is half off bottles, which is lovely as we live a walkable 4 blocks away. While I would love to give them 5 stars they recently raised their prices, and not just like some dishes $1-2, most dishes went up and many dishes went up $3-4. This has bumped it out of our regularly weekly dinner rotation as its pricey to begin with but we thought it was worth it for the food and experience. But now with its current prices its more of a special night out restaurant. Which is a shame as I am sure I am not the only local who will be dining here less frequently. Its priced too high for the town its based in.
The service was great. The Bloody Mary martini had an odd taste to it. We waited a bit too long for our food. My scallops were very good. However, the ravioli they came with were only lukewarm. My husband's fluke fish special of the day was only so-so. The homemade chocolate ice cream was excellent. We'd go back to give it another chance.

The staff at Sals is always so friendly and welcoming! Kimmy, the owner, is also one of the nicest people you will meet! She runs a great restaurant and the food is awesome! My favorite is the tri-colored tortellini - yum! You definitely will not be disappointed!!
I hear their bread sticks are amazing, but I wasn't impressed. Fried and rolled in a spice blend similar to Olga's snackers. Good, but I thought they were too spiced and heavy. For a small town, there aren't a lot of options, but Sal's seems to be a popular place with a lot of history. Sal's has kept its charm and menu, through a couple ownership changes. The newest addition was the catering room. I didn't peek in but glad to know there are other options for large groups in the area. Three of us visited for dinner on a Sunday evening. The All You Can Eat pizza, salad, and soup is a good deal at $8.99 and they make the pizzas fresh, by request. Two soup options, and though the salad bar is small, it's surprisingly very good. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara substitute mushrooms instead of tomatoes. It was a huge bowl of fantastic angel hair pasta, covered in a rich cheesy cream sauce. It is enough for two to share or for tasty leftovers the next day. With the side of garlic bread, it was a real Italian meal. My husband has the lasagna with a side of garlic bread as well. The Kid had a small pizza. All came out hot, fresh and very good. The service was impeccable. The young lady was very nice and professional - though the other employees were being loud and immature. I just wish I could remember her name.
I had the most amazing experience at Sals today. The owner is such a hard worker and sweetheart!

I stopped in here almost every day on my way to work and they were always very friendly. The staff is always really willing to customize drinks for me. Their salads are delicious as well! I highly recommend the "Daily Grind Salad" to anyone. Also have lots of cute stuff you can buy inside. Value - 4/5 Staff friendliness - 5/5 Staff knowledge of menu - 5/5 Food and coffee quality - 5/5 Atmosphere - 4.5/5
A solid family run coffee shop. I have been coming here off and on for over 15 years. Excellent tasting coffee and sandwiches. I'm pretty picky about coffee and this place hits the spot. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. As a side note it's a great spot to people watch who are walking by.
I love coming to this quaint little coffee shop. They have great barista's and sandwiches and they are super friendly and accommodating. My favorite dish is the Daily Grind Salad, their house dressing is great! Thank you for all the great service!

basically my favorite place ever. best bread sticks in the world
This place is so good! The breadsticks with their homemade ranch dressing are to die for! They make amazing pocket sandwiches out of their bread as well. They also have a great Cobb salad and the small is huge. The owners are super nice and are always doing something to give back to their community! Great place!
I've lived all over the Northeastern U.S. (Philly, NJ, NY, CT, Detroit). I currently live in Chicago, so needless to say I've had some good Pie. This is without a doubt my favorite. My wife born and raised a Chicago Gal's as well as much as it pains her to say it. Breadsticks are a must. The BLT Pizza is fantastic (If you like BLT's). Certified Legit!!!

Very diversified menu, ultra clean, and, brisk service. Enjoyed the Shrimp Egg Foo Young takeout yesterday. It was light and fluffy with just the right amount of gravy. The veggie egg roll had a nicely browned crust that was flaky. The 'best' to me remains the Egg Drop Soup. Once again, it wasn't a disappointment.
Takeout service is quick, restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Try the house special pan fried noodles they are very tastey.
I work in Ann Arbor and have had the opportunity to taste many versions of Chinese cooking. Nothing compares to Oriental Sizzling. The best Chinese food I've EVER had.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from this location, after being to the bigger and first (?) location in Adrian, but was very happy once in. It definitely is overwhelming right when you step in, because there are signs everywhere, but the main menu hangs above, its hard to miss. I ordered the fluffier nutter (peanut butter shake) and loved every sip of it! This SC is located in the downtown area and opened all year round!
After a disappointing lunch at the Brewery, it was nice to stumble upon the SC. Very friendly staff, clean environment, and amazingly delicious ice cream! Even their coffee is good.
So I have to start this review by saying the ice cream is usually delicious here, but I just had the worst experience at this location and hopefully whoever is in charge gets wind of this review. So let's start off by saying it took about 30 minutes for my family and I to get our ice cream. This store was very busy, originally I assumed it was the yummy ice cream holding up the line, nope, just the horrible service I was soon to encounter. There were 3 young girls working, all of which were basically playing some word game while making ice cream, also all 3 were talking about what they were going to do to close and how much they all wanted to get off work. They probably should have been worried about the line out the door instead if their side work. The place was a total mess, the people who ordered after us received their ice cream before us, the worker tipped over my dogs sundae and just handed it to me anyways with no apologies, and to top it off when we finally received our ice cream is was melted and over flowing. Did the ice cream taste good? It was decent. But the service at the Tecumseh location was horrible for me to go to cheaper hometown frosty boy next time.

I usually have breakfast foods and they always deliver. I like the option of fresh fruit instead of potatoes and I usually get egg beaters. Not sure how they do it, but I can never make egg beaters as well as they do. Free wifi is always a bonus. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Portions are not too large. Give them a try for breakfast, they won't disappoint.

I enjoyed the ribs tonight. Nice portion sizes.
I've been here a couple times before with my mom, and although the food wasn't really anything to write home about, it wasn't gross. what a disappointment! we ordered fried mushrooms. undercooked, raw batter and cold in the middle. Mom's ribs were OK but not great...my grilled shrimp was cooked well but so salty I almost couldn't eat it. We also both ordered the mixed veggie side. It looked so good, but was in reality a very nice selection of fresh veggies - soaked in oil and SALT. way too much salt all around. I also had rice as my other side, and was kind of annoyed that they only put like one rounded tablespoon of rice on my plate. All in all we both decided to never go back. a $16 meal should not taste like a salt lick. We walked out feeling gross. F+
I've been here a few times and experienced both lunch and dinner. If you plan on coming here on a weekend (Fri or Sat) for dinner, plan ahead as they get busy. I've had both sandwiches and steaks here and the prime rib was really good. The prices are what you would expect at a decent steakhouse-type establishment.

We arrived around 2 PM on Saturday. Not many people, so we had quick, but not particularly friendly service. My polish hotdog was awful -- meat barely cooked in a soggy, tasteless bun. My husband had one bite of his order -- some kind of wrap. We had to wait to pay the tab. You would think someone would ask since our nearly untouched food was in full view. I would not take a stray dog there! WMF, Clinton MI
My favorite hot dog place! Amazing desserts too!
They have sandwiches, paninis and hot dogs. There is not a lot of ways to mess up a hot dog. However the 5 stars are for the plentiful hot dog toppings such as nacho cheese bacon or macaroni and cheese. They have 3 different dogs to choose from and even have pretzel buns which are delicious. Their desserts are also amazing gourmet cupcakes and brownies. The prices are crazy cheap. Always had good service.
