Nice surprise. Had the 2 steak taco lunch, came with rice and beans. They were all fresh, nice flavor. Came with chips and salsa as well A great lunch for the price. The only bad thing is that there is a $10 minimum on credit/debit

This place is pretty good but it does not serve alcohol. I ordered a burrito lunch today that's about 750 and it is a pretty large portion of food. I've only tried their burritos and tacos so I'm not sure how the other things are on the menu. The chips and salsa are okay you sometimes have to ask for fresh chips.

Watch carefully what the woman types into the cash register as you prepare to pay. You will not be given an itemized receipt for your carry out, and you will most likely be overcharged (illegally). I witnessed the woman charge $1.95 for a la carte tamales, which are listed on the menu taped near the cash register as $1.75. Also, $8.75 for and item listed as $8.50. I also saw strange charges of $1.00 and $0.75 which I assume is for carry out salsa and chips maybe (which I did not ask for, and probably was supposed to be included in something else I ordered). This is illegal. I will avoid this place from now on based on principle alone. In all, my bill was over $3 more than I calculated. This was on a roughly $20 bill.

I ordered the steak quesadilla dinner. I wish I took a pick bc it was gross how much they were drenched in grease. The steak was dry,the chips were stale, and the flavor was not very good. My husband had the enchilada dinner. He didn't have specific complaints but wasn't impressed. Won't order from there again. Btw when I say drenched I mean there was a 1/4 inch of grease in the container that they were swimming in.... Yuck!

I am a Mexican fan and I really liked this place. Looks like one of those 'hole-in-the-wall" places which are usually pretty good when Mexican food is concerned. My friend only likes real Mexican fare, so I know this place is legit. We ordered chili rellanos...they were pretty awesome, very cheesy and we got chorizo on them so nice and greasy :). I would prefer them without the green pepper added but, other than that...great! I had the chicken chimichanga and they were very nice & crispy and the chicken mix was the shredded with a tomato sauce base, which I prefer. The one thing I would change on this dish is putting a gravy/sauce over it but, it comes with lettuce/sour cream/guac/and tomatoes on top (which is a bit more fresh and probably more of a preference thing). Awesome chips (fresh outta the fryer) and the spicy salsa is great!...the regular salsa is a bit more like tomatoe soup (not my preferred) but, with hot sauce added, it was doeable.

Im a sucker for faquitas. I didn't think I could have some that tasted bad. The chicken seemed like a low quality shredded meat. The steak didnt have any flavor and was a low choice cut as well. The guac looked really nice but again I had to add salt to it. I'm actually hard to not please with food. This place is super close but I won't be back. I hope they read this and improve. It simply was bland and didnt strike me as good quality meat. Service was freindly but thats not enough.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
