Great service -- our waiter was attentive and quick. No complaints with service at all. Food was decent. I had a simple traditional breakfast -- 2 eggs scrambled w/cheese, bacon, hashbrowns and wheat toast. My disappointment was with the scrambled eggs w/cheese. They only put a slice of cheese on top and I cringe at what may have happened next? They put it in a microwave to melt the slice of cheese? I would have preferred shredded cheese scrambled into my eggs or even scrambled eggs on top so they could melt evenly throughout. I would have ordered coffee, but they did not carry Equal in the blue packets (boo hoo!). I had OJ instead. The breakfast was $6.99 which isn't really a "deal" for a coney island, but I think they are trying to be an upscale coney since they have a vast menu, fancy omelettes and serve beer & wine. Heh!

Every single time I come here, I think the service couldn't get worse, and then it does. I sat for over 20 minutes without a straw till my food finally arrived, which is always mediocre at best. Ugh.

I went here for breakfast with my Mom and bff. This place is quite large and decked out with some cool Detroit, memorable. There is also a nice fireplace in dining room would be good for groups or parties. The menu is huge the speciality being Coney/ Greek cusine but also many other dishes for those who may not be greek enthusiast. I had a hard time choosing there was many things I would like to try for one the salads sounded great there is a Tommy salad that sounds awesome and many others. Also lemon rice soup which I love. However I opted for a Greek egg scramble: gyro meat tomatoes, feta, onion green pepper which I, 86'd topped with scrambled eggs a side of cucumber sauce and side of pita bread plus hashbrowns... very good it was tasty. Mom got a typical breakfast special and bff a reuben. I don't think they were overly enthusiastic about this dining experience, however I enjoyed mine and would more then likely give it another shot.

I see this restaurant almost daily, and yet I'd never tried it until today. I have to say, the interior decor surprised me. It looks a tad shabby from the outside, but it was rather nice and clean inside. Service wise, they were ok. The waitress was helpful and spoke to my children (big plus for me) and got our orders in quickly, and drinks were refilled promptly. I say drinks, but mean water - she never offered to take a drink order or anything. But no harm done. Food wise, better than expected. The kids' food was good, saganaki was good, pita was delicious, burger was good, but too big. Also didn't come with fries, which was a bummer considering the $8.59 price tag. It was also a bit more pricey than I would normally pay for that caliber of restaurant. I may go back without the kids sometime to try the tilapia or something more their speciality, but not in a rush.

All my friends live Downriver, as do I, and all have passed this place countless times but have never eaten there. That's not unusual since there's hundreds of eating establishments in the area. You can't eat at them all, but I took the dive to come here with my wife, and we enjoyed our meal. I normally don't like "family" style restaurants, because they're usually shitty. You'll never catch me at a Coney Island place either, unless I'm drunk at three in the morning. This place serves beer though, and that's probably why I stopped here on a frigid evening. The place was near empty, and it was easy to hear the banter of the workers behind the counter. But, we were sat and served promptly. Their menu included everything under the sun, and I got the chicken strips and fries (and beer by the bottle); my wife wanted an omelet. The only bad thing so far was their tap water, which they give you without asking. It tasted like rusted hose water. My chicken strips were very good, very big. My wife's omelet was "as big as a toilet seat"--my exact words. We were in and out in less than an hour and with a reasonable bill. It was a nice and cozy environment. I can't say I'll be back here anytime soon, as I like to try new places on rare occasions when I go out, but I told everyone how that place they always drove by was actually pretty damn good.

The food is decent. Though breakfast is not very good. You can tell the Hashbrowns and biscuits are frozen. Gross. They're sandwiches are good. The waitstaff SUCKS! We've had a few different ones when we've come and they all leave you waiting forever for things like refills or if you ask for ranch, ect... We finally gave up and haven't gone back in over a year. To bad too...it has a cute fire place that I'd love to sit by in the cooler months.

Oh but i was told it was a mouse, and the infestation was old. So what, new babies!?!? Wtf. At least the server was apologetic for a soery infested place. Do not eat here!!! Health dept. Will be shutting down!!! Specials my 'tail' exactly why its special, their version of live caught

Terrible service! I waited at the counter to order a carry out and was told by the waitress that she was leaving it would find someone to take my order. After waiting for that someone, multiple waitresses came to seat guests that arrived after me to dine in and bypassed me. After a long wait I finally hear her tell what must have been a manager, that I was waiting for a carry out. Well this person isn't any better! She addresses the group that came in after me and grabs menus for them and tells me it will be just a minute! I say nevermind, I'm going to Leo's! Ok she says. I then call to let the manager know about my terrible experience. She couldn't have cared less. I got a thank you with no apology. Smdh. This is definitely my last visit to Little Daddy's. -Kristen B.

I was expecting a standard Greek-inspired diner however, Little Daddy's offers so much more! On my trip, service was friendly and attentive and the quite large restaurant was clean and orderly. I was blown away by the salad menu which was probably two pages. If you want a salad for lunch, this is the place to go... you will not be disappointed by the variety of options. My vegetarian mama was pleased with the freshness of the salad she ordered and I was pleased with my greek salad. Large quantities and one of the freshest salads I've had from a diner. We also ordered a saganaki appetizer which was brought out promptly. In my opinion, you cannot mess up flaming, melted cheese so of course, it was delicious. I urge you to try Little Daddy's yourself as I experience great service, quality food, and a surprisingly large selection to choose from for those days when you're not sure what you really want-- or long shopping days when you need to appease a large group of people with varied tastes.

I really do not like giving 1 star... This restaurant and the employees do not deserve it. My family and I stopped in... We've drove past little daddy's many times and never stopped until this evening. Needless to say our very short visit was unsatisfactory. We were seated by a host and that was it... Not one of the many servers walking around, some standing around chatting with each other came over to greet us ask or ask if we would like something to drink. Many times looking over my shoulder to see we we're sitting with menus down and ready to order drinks as well as our food... Still no one came over. Finally we decided to get up and walk out... Said something to the management on the way out just to get a shrug of her shoulders... Ridiculous to say the least, we will not be back.

GOOD GOD! I'm begging you to read the other reviews prior to entering Little Daddy's. Time stands still when you eat at Little Daddy's. This is now the fifth time in a row it's taken OVER ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN minutes to get basic short-order cuisine. End of story. Shame on us. Shame on us. Now there's something to be said that our culture needs to slow down BUT IT SHOULD BE A CHOICE!!!! Sorry for yelling but I'm bored with myself sitting there with three starving family members as we milked out our 6 ounce coffee (NO REFILLS FOR YOU!). Even grandma resorted to reading stuff on her phone. I'm going to stop typing now and regain perspective on life. Good luck if you neglect this warning.

Little Daddy's, where should I start? Fortunately we ( my wife and I) were only there with a friend for a late night snack. I ordered soup which was passable, nothing spectacular. A friend with us ordered 2 coneys and chili fries. The chili was so watery that the fries were soggy, the coneys were soggy and totally inedible. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she said she noticed it. Felt like saying if you noticed it why did you serve it. They didn't charge us but we won't go back. Definitely stay clear.

First time there and last time there. First off the waitress was short of just saying can this day be over with. Customer Service is not there strong point to say the least. Secondly very dirty, our jelly holder was so filthy that we had to say something. Of course new ones are coming soon, so keep them dirty ones out for the new arrival. Last but not least the toast was so stale that it broke right in half. Oh by the way, very pricy.

Lunch with Mom, we split a Fish & Chips and had two cups of soup, Lemon Rice and Tomato Basil. Everything was really good. Food came out fast and hot. Server Lucia was great, checked in with us at the right times but wasn't intrusive. Have been here a few times now and was a happy camper every time.

We've been coming back regularly to pick-up carry-out for my father-in-law and they're fast, flexible, and he gobbles down everything we bring him. You're back in the game, Little Daddy's.

We started going to Little Daddy's when they first opened, it was pretty good back then so it continued to be a place we'd go back to mainly for breakfast and lunch. Eventually it got to be pretty bad, getting to a point that we stopped in, got seated and then completely forgotten about. The same person who had seated us & took our order came back and asked if we were ready to order. This was after waiting 20 minutes to begin with. They weren't busy at all during this time so I couldn't imagine how this would have gotten screwed up. We informed the girl that she had in fact been the person who had taken our order 20 minutes ago to which she got angry and went to talk to a manager. We decided it wasn't worth staying for and certainly wasn't going to trust what ever they brought out to us after that anyway. As we began to get up to leave the manager started to ask us what our problem was (in a very angry tone) and that we should stay. It didn't help that he and the miserable waitress were saying this stuff to us loudly from about 30 ft away. I just looked back, shook my head and we left. A couple years later I was going by and decided to pick up something for breakfast, the other choices around weren't seeming any better so I figured I'd get something simple and hope for the best. I'm glad I did. the food was good and even though I was just getting take out the place seemed to be running much better than I had remembered from the last time. We've moved from the area but still head Downriver to see family or go to some shops in the area. Little Daddy's has done a great job of turning itself around and offering a huge selection of foods as well as great service. Their breakfast choices are really good as well as their sandwiches. There certainly isn't a shortage of places to choose from to go and eat in the Downriver area but it's been nice having this one as a choice to go to again. Hope they keep up the good work.

Used to love this place. The new menu is over priced and my portion seemed smaller than it used to be. $12 for medicore fish & chips is way too much. I ate at Champps in Troy last week and paid $15 and got almost 2x as much food and it tasted great. Sorry but I don't plan on coming back any time again soon.

We used to love this place, then it went downhill. Luckily we decided to try it again a few months ago, and WOW, no need to drive downtown for Greek food anymore. (I'm kind of sad that the casino changed Greek Town, I loved it so much before the casino was built). The food is awesome, authentic Greek food with a great ambiance. I'm glad that they "changed it back" to great Greek food, again. Nice to have this restaurant as an option again.

Expensive food! A club sandwich was $8 and it didn't even include fries! It's a decent place to get some food but it's absolutely not worth the money. I'd rather go to a little coney where a club is $6 at most and comes with fries.

Low expectations based on the appearance(shabby) but I had a decent meal: balsamic chicken wrap. Wait staff friendly and fast. I recommend it. The hot dogs were covered in a chili sauce I would best describe as looking like diarrhea, but as hot dog toppings are a pretty divisive subject, I'll withhold judgment. But at the very least it would require minimal intestinal processing.

This place use to have decent prices. Now they are insanely expensive. I was wondering why the place was so empty till we got our bill. The cheeseburger is $9.00 doesn't even include fries that's an extra 2.50 then pop 2.50. So your looking at $14 bucks for a mediocre burger & fries. This is not a steak house just a coney island. Yeah no thanks.

I'm a firm believer in rating a place for what it is, not compared to every other restaurant. So that's why Little Daddy's gets 4 stars. They are a large Greek/coney island restaurant. Service is usually good. They have saganaki and a "double opa" with the cheese and sausage, which is really good. The moussaka here is really good, creamy and delicious. What I love about this place is that they have Detroit pride and some of their dishes are named after Red Wings. It isn't my first choice usually, but I'm always happy to eat here.

A lil on the pricey side for breakfast but a very nice place to eat, it's cozy with a nice fireplace you can sit by, we had a server named caleb who was absolutely awesome.....

Basic Greek Coney Island/breakfast spot. Good place to load up on grease and coffee to kick off the weekend. Nothing epic, but certainly a solid chose.

Who's your Daddy? Little Daddy's could be! We went here today and the food was yummy! I wasn't expecting much but a greasy spoon in a strip mall kind of food, but I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered Saganaki, and it was just as good as anything in Greek town. The Chicken Lemon Rice soup was perfect and filling and so was the Chicken Greek Salad. I think I will be frequenting this place more often!
