Very delicious! I got the sliders and my friend got the chicken tenders. Both were very good! The bourbon sauce that comes with the chicken tenders is delicious! The waitstaff was friendly. The atmosphere was good, as you would expect from a pub and grill. The fries were great! I judge a place by their fries and they did them well! I would definitely return

The hubs and I love us some small town pub action. This place has a really great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. We sat at the bar, but there is a beautiful fireplace that you can sit near and enjoy. I had a bowl of delish Italian vegetable beef soup and yyyuummmmm. Hit the spot on a cold day. The hubs ordered the grilled chicken with fries. I liked the fries - crispy and a little towards well done but that's just how I like them! Naturally I dunked them in ranch and was pleased to find that the ranch is made onsite. The bar features local tastes of wine as well as draft and bottled beers. The bartender let us know that the onion rings are hand dipped and are quite tasty so we'll have to try those next time!

Excellent steaks, food and atmosphere. The filet with blue cheese is excellent. The porterhouse for two is more like for three. Recommend going up on your cooking time for steaks as they were a little rare but this is a must try on the Bay!

Service here is über friendly and attentive. Good mix of the locals and tourists. They do a good job with local fish and burgers. Their onion rings can't be beat. We placed a 2nd order after the first was quickly gobbled up. I normally am not a ranch dressing fan, but theirs is homemade and tasty. Our group today had 3 orders of the perch Reuben and a perch sandwich. Nice portion, I'm saving my 2nd half for lunch on the beach. Also appreciate a few local wines and beers. That's why we are here: to enjoy the local favorites. My only criticism is the side salad is just your boring ho-hum iceberg/romaine with carrot, cucumbers and tomatoes.

Stopped by for dinner while exploring Suttons Bay. Ordered the Bleu Cheese burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had, and the fries were great as well. The service was very good and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again I would go back for sure.

Five stars for the institution that is Boone's Prime Time Pub! Boone's is like a big warm bear hug.. A hearty "welcome home" that envelopes you in familiarity and comfort. I've been to Boone's plenty of times as I grew up in the area and spent my formative years in Suttons Bay. Now I return as a semi-native and never skip a chance to enjoy some pub fare at beloved Boone's. Perched as you enter downtown SB from the south, Boone's is a mainstay in the village, complete with the look and feel of a place you want to return to. Full of locals, but the door is always open to visitors as well. It's just a damn good little place. Our most recent visit was a blustery day before NYE with some out of town friends. We were looking for a great lunch nearby, and Boone's more than delivered. Dare I say it was the perfect vacation lunch. The kind of lunch you take when you have long forgotten what day it is, and are in no rush to be anywhere for anything. As we cozied up in one of the fireplace booths, ordered a round of beers (and a well received bloody mary!) and started to peruse the menu...it struck me that this is such an enjoyable place. The food is above average for a pub. My M-22 classic burger was deliciously sinful. The cottage chips I stole from my husband were LEGIT. The homemade chicken soup? Probably suitable to cure any illness known to man. The service was delightful. The beers are of good quality and selection (my preferred is the Bells Two Hearted), but also the regulars to keep the traditionals happy. Strikes a great balance and appeals to a wide demographic without overdoing it. There's a reason Boone's has been the mainstay on the block of many, many years and I hope it remains that way forever and ever. I'll see you in the summer, lover!

Not Boone's (like Boone's Long Lake Inn) but still worth a visit. This location is small and the service is ok. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. If you are looking for a place to stop on the way to Traverse City, it's doable. The Lake Michigan whitefish was luke warm but edible. It's a little pricey.

One of the best burgers of my life. Absolutely fantastic. Cute little restaurant with a log cabin feel. Even the bathrooms there were great! My family and I arrived at 2:00 and there wasn't a place to sit so we were given our drinks and invited to sit at the bar temporarily. After getting seated in a booth 10 minutes later, the waitress gave us the perfect amount of time to order. She wasn't hovering, but she didn't disappear for 10 minutes at a time. After giving our order to the friendly waitress, our delicious burgers arrived within 15 minutes. My girlfriend and I split the delicious Monster Burger while my parents enjoyed their own individual burgers. My mom has a lot of food allergies and was accommodated very nicely here. If I had to make a negative comment, it would be that (being a Cubs fan), the beautiful HDTVs on the wall were showing the Tiger's game. Overall, without a doubt, 5/5.

really, really good. i loved the fish i had for lunch. it tasted very fresh. the portion size was enough that i was satisfied but not feeling ill. i want to try every single thing on this menu. the ONLY downside was that the server really tried to "sell" us, suggesting that we order onion rings, wine, chowder, salads, desserts, etc., every time she visited our table. i want to try the onion rings but there is no way i could do it with the fish and fries. but i will be back.

Friendly service, decent food, nice casual atmosphere. Good selection of beers to wash down the huge burgers, which is the thing to order here.

Great for a quick bite and a drink. A nice spot to hang around and watch a game. Mostly American Bar food, but done well at a reasonable price. Kind prompt service. Overall all an awesome place

This is a cute little place in the adorable "sea side" town of Suttons Bay, about 20 miles from Traverse City. I'm hesitant to suggest the restaurant or the city as a destination place, because there is quite frankly, so little to see and do there. But if you happen to be in the TC area and are looking for something a little different, it was a nice distraction. It's also part of the bike trail network, so you if you're biking from TC or along M-22, you could use this pit stop to "break up" your ride. The place is small, cabin-like, and pretty cozy. Two dollar Bloody Mary's got me in the door, but the appetizer I split (Arizona Egg Rolls) was actually really good too. I only glanced at the rest of the menu, but it looked a little on the pricier side as far as casual fare goes. Wish I had more info beyond this review and pictures I added, other than to say it fit in perfectly with it's surroundings, and that I'll be back when I am up that way!

The best black and bleu burger I've had in Northern MI! And you can't go wrong with the onion rings or the green beans for an appetizer. Love this place. Get there early because it fills up fast! Even though they are slammed every time I go in, service has always been very good.

Love Boone's! I recently moved to Suttons Bay and Boone's was the first place my boyfriend and I visited and from the time we walked in, it was such a great experience! Our first waitress was Bea and she was so warm and friendly. We explained that we had just moved to the area and she was very welcoming and immediately signed me up for free to be a frequent diner member where you get points for every dollar you spend. It always seems to be packed in the summer time, but I can't say that I'm surprised, it's not a huge place and it's always good food and good service. The food is always great and I always get the deep fried green beans as an appetizer. Soooo delicious!! I'm a carb-aholic so my only suggestion would be to get some potato options in there, but aside from that it's never let me down!!

Fantastic jalapeño burger made with trimmings from their fresh cut steaks. Tried the whitefish dip...nice, mild flavor. Atmosphere gets an A+.

Very pleasant. Service is fast and quality. Kind of has a true Northern Michigan feel. Basically a clean bar with real food. A lot of TV's and a peculiar "half booth" secluded and in direct view of the TV. Perfect for the lone business traveler

Great pub food. My husband loved the shrimp basket. I had the cherry chicken salad and it was fantastic. I wasn't expecting everything to be so fresh. Salad was loaded with cherries, walnuts and bleu cheese. Very friendly service.

This is one of those places that is good for ordering sandwiches and burgers, but anything else you shouldn't bother because you'll spend the same amount of money as you would at a 4 star restaurant. I had a house salad and my boyfriend had the chef's salad and both were made with iceberg lettuce that was browning at the edges. I didn't think restaurants served iceberg lettuce anymore unless you specifically ordered the iceberg lettuce salad. He had a turkey sandwich that was okay and I had the Michigan Whitefish that was lightly fried. You could also order it broiled, but the server recommended it be fried for more flavor. It had no flavor! It was cooked fine in the center, but the edges were tough and dry. When you go up north for fish, whitefish is the way to go, but this one didn't satisfy. We also had the onion rings that were once reviewed in Playboy Magazine as being really good. They were decent, but nothing special. I can get my onion ring fix at Red Robin. As far as atmosphere, it is a pub, so it is what's expected, loud and casual. Waitstaff was friendly.
