Excellent sandwiches, the Hot Italian beef was amazing. In addition we got a Chicago style hot dog which was very good they used Hebrew nationals a quality hotdog, both the hotdog and a sandwich were very authentic. They served a pickle for a $1.25 that was very good, and a large locally pickled a pickle. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Average service, good dog, good fries, a decent price. Ricky's looks like one of those perfect hole-in-the-wall places, but I wasn't all that impressed. I would have to say it was ok. I had a poppy seed hot dog bun, a first for me. No fountain drinks, you get a can. Fries and dog were made fresh, but nothing special. Cramped seating, poor decor, add to the mediocre lunch. $5 for a dog, fries, and a can of soda.

Great people and excellent food!! We stop there any time we are in the area. Our favorites are the a Italian beef and the Chicago dogs - yes, REAL Chicago dogs! I highly recommend Ricky's!

Best Italian Beef since I've been to Chicago. This local food shack is hands down as authentic as you can get. Their hot chips is also a must try. Limited parking and very little seating inside but a great grab and go kind of place. Will definitely be making this a regular stand by on my list.

Returned to Rickey's with the family for lunch at noon on a weekday. I think the staff was the same. 2 cheeseburgers, a philly cheese steak and a chicken strips with fries. Total prep time 20 minutes. Total cost $23. No, not busy with other customers already waiting. I think the 4 chefs made one thing at a time. I was looking forward to a good philly cheese steak and I still am. I think there was provalone on it but there was so little it was hard to tell. The bun or the beef had a scorched or burnt flavor. The peppers were ok but altogether it was not recommendable. The chicken strips were ok. Thin but not too greasy tasting. The fries were. The prime rib was a standard burger. The standard burger was not. I wish I had spent less at Culver's or the same at Roxy's.

Are you're ready for Chicago Style Italian Beef or Hot Dogs ? Believe me, you never would expect to find them here, this is a small town eatery. Yesterday, my Wife and I, had their Chicago Dog Special. Everything about the sandwich was perfect. When the last time, your Bun wasn't soggy ? This special is $4.50 ....Hot Dog .... Fries .... can of Soda. Recap: Service is OUTSTANDING. Food is OUTSTANDING. Price is OUTSTANDING.

Love Ricky's! Great food, prepared correctly. Never had anything on their menu that was bad. Absolutely love their prime burger and the Ruban sandwich. Get the hot potato chips, they are worth the trip by themselves. Cheers!!!!

The first review, I am surprised! I eat here every time I am in town since they opened about three years ago. The dogs are great and there are several different types. The Rubin is good as well. I wish there was one where I live. Parking is ok. The only nit; it's a bit small in the inside dining area but in good weather the back patio area is nice.

Stop in and really enjoyed the food at very reasonable prices. Drink selection was rather low but managed to find something. Staff was courteous. Good place to stop in for a quick eat.
