It doesn't get much better than this. I've eaten here dozens of times over the last four years, it never disappoints. The Hoagies and Pepperoni Rolls are among the best you'll get anywhere, the slices of pizza are good and all of the baked goods are phenomenal. My office is just a few minutes, about a mile, from this shop. While it's not great on my waistline, it is fantastic on my tastebuds. Very affordable as well. Nothing here will break the bank. Every member of the staff I've ever dealt with is also very friendly and helpful as well. You can't go wrong stopping in here.

Good pizza rolls, though I prefer the hoagies with the ham. The rolls could use a tad more sauce but are good for the price and are quick to grab and go. They are not as good as ones from the pizza places. Italian subs are good here but I would double the meat next time. Good rainbow cookies. The middle of the tiramisu was the best I've ever had but they need to cut off the hard outer crust on the bottom layer. Black forest cookies were just ok, better with milk chocolate instead of white. I stopped in twice, both times looking for turnovers and both times they had none. The first time, the girl said they just got back from vacation. Ok but I can't imagine what the excuse is a few days later. It was early in the day both times. I had asked her if they have them every day and she said yes. I heard the brownies were good here but mine was terrible. It was rock hard on top, no joke. There is no excuse to put out brownies that are clearly extremely overdone. That was disappointing. The staff here is very friendly and some of the things were good so I may stop in again.

What's the point of ordering a pizza when you can just stop here get the dough, pepperoni, the cheese and make your own. The pizza sauce that they make is really great. The prices are fantastic. During the The holidays they have trays full of delicious cookies. I stop in and grab a few when headed to parties.

Growing up, my dad was obsessed with this place. It reminds me of him which is a great memory. He always got pepperoni rolls from here, and always said no other places compared. He was right. The pepperoni rolls are to die for, the dough is so fresh and fluffy and is PIZZA dough, not bread dough which so many other places use that truly makes a difference in the taste. I've never found a better pep roll anywhere else. They are cheap for the quality that you get. A few weeks before my dad passed away I dropped him off 2 of these as a surprise for lunch. That brought a smile to his face, so anytime I come here, that's what I'm reminded of.

After driving by this place for years I fianally stopped in today. I wanted to check out if they had any tasty sweets. Instead I walked out with two pizza slices. It was some of the best pizza that I have ever had. The cheese, sauce and crust could not have been any better. Half hour later I was back getting two more slices. I cannot believe how good this pizza is, at $1.50 a slice, and I have never heard anyone ever mention the place to me. Basically a small Italian market with a limited selection of authentic Italian goods, including Lavazza coffee. They have pizza rolls, strudels, eclairs, and bread among what I saw available. This will be a regular stop for me from now on.

I thought they were all about their hoagies and pepperoni rolls - but I've been getting their italian sandwiches lately, and damn they are tasty! Comparable to Alcamo's (which is a huge compliment), same price, with a way shorter line! Filled with mortadella, genoa salami, ham, provolone, and topped with peppers and their homemade sauce, it's so delicious (and lasts me two meals!) Plus, you can snag some of the best fudgiest brownies in the world, and their peanut butter cookies which are still by far my favorite!

Girlfriend and I split a hoagie and a pizza roll for lunch. Great for lunch. Moving downriver from Dearborn, it was nice to find a pizza roll that rivals DIB.

I went here for lunch, for the first time today. Here's the breakdown: The Good: Everything, mostly. The food is fresh, tasty, and really inexpensive. Lunch for three of us (2 adults, 1 kid) came to $7.50 or so. The portions are large and yummy. I had a hoagie, and it was the size of a baby's head, stuffed with ham, pepperoni, cheese, and sauce. It was delicious. There were also freshly made cannolis, pumpkin rolls, and other delicious looking treats. I didn't buy any, and that took a LOT of restraint. The Bad: The food is all made fresh, but was cold when we received it. We went home and heated it up in the microwave (no big deal). But still; it would have been awesome if it was hot from the bakery. Also, it was slightly greasy (our paper bag was grease stained from the food) - but the yumminess far outweighed the greasy bag. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I have literally eaten here for over 20 years. Great food, reasonable prices. (I think pepperoni slices have only went up about 50c in 15yrs). But as someone else said the food is made fresh. But may need to be "warmed up" from sitting a while. Excellent canolis!

I cannot drive by Caprara without stopping in for a slice, a hoagie or pepperoni roll. I actually prefer their pizza room temperature. Great place to pick up unbaked pizzas for a get together or slumber/kids party.

Moved away 11 years ago, but placed an order while on a recent business trip. I ordered in advance so that when I caught my flight home, I would be able to pack my pepperoni rolls and pizza slices in my suitcase! The food here is delicious and haven't found any other to compare it with. Spoke with Tony about online ordering via his website. Items are sent out freshly baked that day. I also ordered a couple slices of pizza for the road. The slices were heated up for me. Great food! Great people! Prices are inexpensive, if not comparable to other businesses. This is how they make their delicious pepperoni rolls: myfoxdetroit.com/video?a…

Great example of a Dearborn/Downriver Italian bakery. Unbaked pan pizza, pepperoni rolls, and pastries. The unbaked pepperoni pizza here is good and cheap ($8). The baked slices are good, but not as good as the Capri in Dearborn, where they warm them up to order in the main oven. They also have started serving sandwiches, and I will try them soon. Excellent selection of Italian groceries and such (Think Nutella and Brioschi). They also sell essentials for the Downriver Blue Collar lunch crowd: 40's and Tall Boys. Cheers!

This is a local favorite of mine. I need to take it easy with this kind of food, but this is my go to place for pizza by the slice, pepperoni rolls and a large number of baked goods such as cookies, cannolis, tiramisu, pies etc. They do good work and it's always a pleasure to deal with them.
