Saturday morning while visiting my sister in law in Michigan I was looking for a place to take my family for a Saturday morning breakfast, default option was IHOP, but I wanted to better try a local place and this showed up in Yelp not too far from home. The place was smaller than I expected but tables were available, we had Omelettes, Pancakes and scrambled eggs, it was all good, big and tasty omelettes, my daughters loved the pancakes and the service was very good, as a plus I was also pleased to see that the waitresses were very good looking too ( hope my wife never reads this review).

Love the pancake factory. I almost always get one of their breakfast specials, and they are delish. Last time I had cinnamon french toast, yum. I meet a friend semi-regularly for breakfast on Saturday mornings around 8-9ish and have never had a problem getting a table or with service. Definitely recommend!

If you come during rush time they can be slow but the wait is worth it! Awesome bacon and French toast!

Their omelets don't come with hash browns ($1.99 extra if desired) they don't substitute for anything. (not even sugar for salt very expensive and deceptively priced on yelp. Hollywood California pancake houses have better prices and better food. Very loud, humid and claustrophobic inside I felt like I was eating inside the kitchen next to the cooks. Will not be back. The search continues for my wife and I. Eat here at your own expense.

They tick me off every time but the food is so f'n good, I don't care. (1) Why do they insist on jipping me on the hashbrowns?? aren't potatoes cheap? (2) I eat there about once a week but they refuse to seat two of us at a booth even since we started coming later to avoid the busy time. last time, they walked us past two empty booths, into the back area to a 2 top up against a wall with a fire extinguisher in my girlfriends back, the bus tub with dirty dishes in my back and next to an exit door constantly opening with cold air. (3)I'm a 1 1/2 cup of coffee guy. 1 refill is all I need. Every week, same thing- halfway through my meal with an empty drink and nothing to wash down my food Food is ridiculously good though

The place to go if you want to be rushed to eat and pushed back out the door, if you ever get your food. The food can be good, but if you have a problem... it's your problem, not theirs, chances are you can't get this manager to talk to you, because he's too busy socializing with his pals to deal with the customers. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this cheap knock of The Original Pancake House... go there instead!

My parents have been talking about this place so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it's exactly what I thought it was, someone's half-attempted interpretation of the better known, local pancake houses like the Pantry or Original Pancake House, though not done as well in food or service. Although it wasn't that busy, our server seemed to have a hard time holding it together. Though she had the appearance of a grizzled pro, she seemed frazzled by the few tables she had and literally forgot every item that accompanied our main dishes, both in bringing it from the kitchen and what we ordered (she even wrote it down). We're pretty sure she gave away our bacon side to another table, though they ordered later, and it took her forever to bring another one out. My omelet was also missing several side items, and by the time she brought them out separately about 10 minutes apart, we were half finished with our main dishes. The overall appearance of the kitchen area was a little off-putting as well. There were some metal containers sitting on the counter part. One of them was butter that is scooped onto the pancakes, which was warm and half melty from being out too long. It seemed like it and the other food garnishes should have been behind the counter rather than where customers can walk by it in the open. The kitchen area seemed kind of sloppy and not as clean or organized as it should have been for a professional presentation. In all, not impressed. I'll stick with the better known pancake houses, even if it means a little more of a drive and a longer wait.

This place has all of the exact same recipes as The Original Pancake House, which was a staple of my childhood. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is to die for, and all of the food is amazingly delicious. Raspberry crepes are a personal favorite and don't forget their delectable thick-cut bacon.

Wow. This place was terrible. First of all, I ordered a vegetarian omelet, and they put beef in it. And, the eggs were super soggy. When I told the waitress that there was meat in my vegetarian omelet, it was like she didn't really care. No one came to apologize to me, nothing. Service was slow, and I was not impressed. I will NOT be going back. Terrible terrible.

Went here this morning with my mom and boyfriend this afternoon. I mean, my gosh, it's called the Pancake Factory. That was already a winning breakfast place in my book. Not to mention it is right next door to World's Gym. You know everyone working out is watching us come in and out and thinking disgusted thoughts about us stuffing our faces in chocolate chip pancakes. It is MLK Jr. Day and people have the day off so I should have assumed this place would be packed before being shocked by it. There was one booth open in the entire place when we got there and yep, we got it! *happy dance* I hate waiting I'm super impatient. This place is not very big, about 25 tables/booths at most. I counted about 5 people on wait staff. If the service had been a lot better I would have most likely given the review a higher star count. We were seated 10 minutes before we saw our waitress to get our drink order. It was another 10-15 minutes in between getting our drinks and her coming to take our food order. Now, the waitress was really nice. I'm not knocking her friendliness. But everything took forever. I am willing to overlook it because the place had every table full, but it was still frustrating. I would have expected the longest wait to be between the food order and getting the food. My mother got the blueberry pancakes. She got about 6-8 of them and they were about the diameter of a coffee cup. She did enjoy them and say there were really good, but she just couldn't finish them because there was a lot. My boyfriend got the turkey sausage and cheddar cheese omelet. It was the biggest omelet any of us had ever seen before. Seriously, this thing was massive. He described it as "huge, but fluffy." I ordered the French crepes that had strawberries on the inside and out with whipped cream. I had never had a crepe before and my portion size was just as generous as my mother's and boyfriend's. My crepes were pretty good. I have nothing to compare them to so I would say I quite enjoyed them. The waitress also got my order wrong and brought me out French Toast so that had to be corrected and remade. All and all the prices were fair. My crepes were around $6.00, the omelet was $8.00 because it also came with pancakes, and I didn't pay attention to the price of my mom's stuff. All and all it was a good experience. I will definitely go back there again if I need a place to meet up with friends who've come into town or I'm just craving breakfast food. I'm hoping my next experience gives me the opportunity to come back and change my review from 3 stars to a higher rating.

Okay, LOVED it! In comparison with Original Pancake House. Had bacon that wasn't too greasy, chocolate chip pancakes that were a bit dry but whipped cream solved that, and blueberry crumb pancakes that were great. We were concerned about the honey syrup but it brought out the flavor wonderful. It was fairly busy for a weekday morning but we didn't have to wait. Very reasonable priced.

Seriously, near perfect! I have not been there enough to give this place a five, but I'm sure I'll get there. If there were half-stars, it would be a 4.5...perfect is just tough for me. The pancakes were, as expected, wonderful! I've had two omlettes there and they did not disappoint. The omlettes are whipped so they are incredibly light despite being densely packed with delicious fillings. On the weekdays, the Factory is steady but the weekends are jam packed. Its fantastic...get there!

The food is good, the cooks really know what they are doing I used to work here. However, the service is a gamble there are only a small handfull of good servers left there all of the good ones left or are Leaving. If you order a specialty pancake it will take about 15-25 min depending on how busy they are and the eggs really aren't anything special I don't really think they are worth the price you can go to coney and get the same thing for cheaper. O and for all the egg beaters freaks, they do not have egg beaters because it's gross! They use real egg white that are freshly cracked each morning! Which for all the people who faught me on it egg whites and egg beaters are THE SAME THING! The only difference is they put yellow food coloring in egg beaters to make it look like real eggs. And it sits in a container for god knows how long. Whew! Had to get that off my chest. I personally didn't like working there because it's not very well ran. They fired my manager who was awesome and really wanted to see the place do well and now it's just the owners who have never ran a restaraunt before. Most people say it will only last about 6 months! Better get in there quick if you want to try it!

There is no where else to eat breakfast food like this in Macomb, unless you go to the Pantry which is not even in the same class as the The Pancake Factory and the food cost more. Food at The Pancake Factory is comparable to The Pancake House in Grosse Pointe or The Flytrap with a more down home menu... Yes the omelets take a while, that is because they are oven baked. If your in a hurry, go to Denny's or Ram's Horn. If you want something delectable go here.. My wife and I go here 1-2 times a week and more often if we can.. Service here is usually top notch as well..

My GF and I had some wonderful breakfast here. The service was very good and the food was all tasty. A lot of the "Issue" write ups seem to center around service, ours was great though, so for us, 4 stars.
