I love middle eastern food and Lebanese Grill definitely satisfied the need for it. However, the last time I went here I ordered take out (lamb shish kabob lunch special with tabbouleh salad for an extra $2) it was all delicious but there were 5 measly pieces of lamb! My total bill was around $15! Quite expensive. Though, as a side note, the portion of tabbouleh and rice was generous.
It doesn't matter if we are going East or West on Hall road, we always stop here for the best Lebanese I have had. worth hunting it down... Tell Ali we sent you..
Really good Lebanese food and great service. Hard to find Lebanese food that actually tastes like it should. The garlic paste is awesome on their fresh serein bread! Best in 48042!!
Since moving northeast of detroit, I have tried a few thai restaurants and was not impressed with any until I tried Amarin. I've tried the Pad Thai at the Warren & Shelby location and it has been amazing each time! The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because they close at 9:30pm on Saturday - I think that's too early for a Saturday night. The good news is I made it there at 9:35pm last Saturday and they waited until I picked up my order to close :-)
My mom and I, as lovers of Thai food, finally decided to try this place. We both ordered Hot and Spicy soup, me shrimp; her chicken. Different from our usual, it was very good...but very spicy! I actually had spice burned lips! I'm skipping this soup next time. Mom ordered the King and I and I had Pad Thai Chicken - both were amazing. I have some food allergies and unfortunately curry is one of them. I will most likely order the Pad Thai every time we go. (Good thing I love it.) Let's talk spring rolls, ok? Get them. Get them in your belly. The sauce with the spring rolls is absolutely amazing. I dream of the sauce. Overall the price is right, the portions are hearty, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. So why not 5 stars? The menu choices lacked for me; I was looking for something specific and they do not have it. It is what it is, but this place is definitely a keeper.
This is alright Thai food. Annoyingly, it is closed on Mondays... and for some reason I most often want to pick up Thai on Mondays. I really like the interior style of the place.
I grew up eating Ken's Belgian Waffles whenever we could whine our way into going out on the weekend for breakfast. Fifteen years later, I'm still doing the same exact thing! There are very few places I would rather go than Ken's for breakfast because I know they're consistent, they've been around probably as long as I've been alive, and it's not expensive. What's not to like? If you're ever unsure about what to get, here's your simplified menu (in order of greatness): Short stack of blueberry pancakes (The BEST pancakes!) Western Omelette Belgian Waffle with strawberries on top Biscuits and gravy with a side of corned beef hash And if you're in for a fatty treat, you have to get the homemade cinnamon roll with butter!
Love Ken's! I've been coming here whenever I'm in the mood for a good, solid breakfast. Their pancakes are enormous and are super thin, like crepes. Get a short stack if you have a small appetite! Also, come early before the church crowd hits if you're out and about on a Sunday. It's a small place and gets packed pretty quickly. However, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a seat.
Sunday morning breakfast should be delicious, greasy, comfort food. Here, you definitely get the greasy part but unfortunately they're missing the delicious food part of the equation. Good food would also otherwise forgive lousy service, unfortunately they have neither good food nor pleasant staff. 10/10 would NOT recommend or go back again. And for the record "Homemade corn beef hash", even after clarification from our server, is most definitely the disgusting canned meat. Save yours money and stomach space and go somewhere else.
What no small squares round only? I have not had a HH in years, figured why not. Was kind of bummed that they had no small square pizza, had to order a large. The pie was made to order Ham -Mushrooms-Double Sauce Asiago Cheese crust But the taste was just good, nothing flamboyant or crave worthy But with the choices in the area Price $12 for a chain pizza. looks like one & done
STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I was nice to give 1 star, this is only because the pizza is decent. The owners here are rude and disrespectful. Like other reviewers we tend to put up with the poor service due to the fact our family likes the pizza. My trip there tonight will be my absolute last. The owner was rude, and refused to give my son our order because he did not give him the correct phone number.. Even though my son provided him with my full name and the items in the order, the owner stated he could not find it from the 3 orders that were in the window. I went into the store to question the owner and all I got was a rude attitude from him as well. I provided the correct phone number and he magically went right to my order, again 1 of 3 in the window. When I took my pizzas that were paid for online the owner lunged over the counter and tried grabbing the pizza boxes out of my hands, meanwhile ripping the box and nearly dumping them on the floor. I will NEVER go back to this location again. Apparently from the other reviews this owner is not happy with his career choice and is living a miserable life by taking it out on his customers. I would rather drive an extra 15 minutes to go to any other location. Please do not give these poor excuse for business owners a penny of your money. There are many great pizza places very close by that treat their customers with respect they deserve.
quick service and good pizza
One star is being generous!! Got a free large pizza coupon from Gardner white. When I called they told me I owed .60 cents tax. Even though a cheese only on their web site said it was $8.00. Tax on $8.00 is not .60 cents. I called their headquarters and they said that location should NOT be charging tax on a free item. And that the headquarters was paying them a full price plus tax for each one they turn in. They promised they would take care of it. I called Gardner White and asked the to Clarify what a free pizza really meant. They also assured me they give Hungry Howies sales tax and they were very upset to hear their customers where going through this. I ordered again today (mind you it's suppose to be taken care of by now, 3 weeks later) and they charge me the .60 cents AGAIN. When I explain to them they are dipping double for sales tax. They said it's how their computers are set up and that not only did their headquarters lie, but so did Gardner White. She ( the owner) said they only give her $3.00. And proceeded to ask me why me and my husband didn't make enough money to afford the .60 cents. I said that's not the point. She then yelled at me and told me why order their pizza if I couldn't afford the .60 cents. And told me to never order from them again and get out of her store and never come back. She said if I did she would call the police. I said that's a good idea, let's call them. She started yelling at me and said take your free lunch and get out. ( mind you nobody was in the store but me and the employees). This is how come I think so many people in the area say they are crooks. But I can say they sure will cheat you if they can. BEWARE!!! There is some shady practices going on here.
Really deserves 0 stars. Walked out today when we were third in line and there were at least 5 employees in the drive through talking and laughing. We went to the one on Hall Rd. spot on food, coffee, and customer service.
Wish I could give it zero stars. The lady at the drive thru was sooooo rude that I said forget it and drove away and went to bigby down the street where they were super nice. I will never ever go to this Tim hortons again !!!!!!!
I drive by this location 4-6 times a day, and it can get crazy busy & the drive thru backs out into 21 & or Vandyke before 9 am However at 10:15 on A Wednesday, I was the only car. My turkey sausage- cheese- egg white muffin was prepared perfectly & quick. NOTE: if any Shelby Police read yelp....Action needs to be taken on NO LEFTS on Vandyke leaving this facility & NO Lefts turning into it from eastbound 21 truly near misses all morning long
