The food is great, but the hostesses and waitresses were so rude. Not only were they not friendly but they were also yelling to each other through out the restaurant. Not sure if it's even worth the money for great food since the service was so bad.

If you're looking for average food at average prices, this place is it. Nothing fancy, but the cheap appetizers are an incredible deal. And the rolls are awesome. Sometimes I get filled up on rolls and peanuts before my food comes out.

Visited here on a late Friday afternoon to take advantage of their 2 for $14.99 Special. Took over 5 mins to be seated in their nearly empty restaurant. Finally seated in a new servers sections. Drink and app orders went smooth. Server was a little shy of really knowing his menu so, entree ordering took a touch long. Apps came out in decent time and we dove in. Both fried apps tasted like fish. They both smelled like fish. They were disgusting. Spoke to the manager, he admitted that sometimes the fish is fried with some of the other food. Said he would take them off the bill. Get our salads a whopping 2 mins before our entrees. My salad is completely frozen. One entree was returned since it had been ordered with gravy on the side and the food was completely covered with gravy. While waiting for the re-cook, server took bf's glass for a beverage refill and never brought it back. Had to get up to get our own drink refill. Not a good night nor good impression of this restaurant at all. Manager did listen to our concerns and did comp our bill of the little bit of food we actually did eat.

Food was decent pretty much what I expected from a chain steakhouse. Service was so so, had to wait for a table for a few mins even though the place was pretty empty. Waitress was very nice but I think she forgot about me since I didn't see her until I had finished my meal. Tap beer selection is only domestics, some local craft brews would be awesome there are a lot to choose from around here.

Peanuts on the floor, great steaks with sides! Some good specialty drinks!

Had my favorite meal: Filet and Snow Crab Legs. The steamed veggie skewer was great, as were the snow crabs. The Filet had grill marks, but no sear... but was flavored well except it came out more Tartar than Med Rare. Had to send it back to the grill. My friend had the Pork Chops, and they were large and thick although they looked like they had been squished against a cold grill as well... grill marks, but no sear at all. However, she could physcially barely even cut into them they were so tough. The manager offered to bring us two more, which took quite a while... and they were inedible as well. For the restaurant, it was a typical Logan's and pretty clean for the Peanuts on the Floor... which if you can't handle, you shouldn't go here. The manager was came by our table 5-6 times... and seemed to be genuinely interested... but no comped Entree (she didn't even eat them and that's 2 entrees sent back to the kitchen!). The waitress was really fantastic as well. My snow crabs were good, my salad was good, and the beer was cold. The only thing really off was the grill master... the waitress said he'd been there since the opening (maybe he had a fight w/ his gf or just an off night)... but then again, ... maybe that's why the overall review is only 2.5 stars. 3 Stars for effort... 1 if it was only the food.

This rating is not just for the dining experience, so I encourage you to keep reading. My boyfriend travels a lot, so we've eaten at this location (and this chain) several times, and it's always abominable - this is not just a Saginaw problem, it's a chain problem. But, when you're on the road in highway towns, you settle. The last time we came here, we got such nasty service from the onset, so we decided to go to some other chain restaurant next door. Like, ordered our drinks, received the most irritated face, huffs and puffs, eye rolls, etc. So we debated, then said "forget about it," and peaced the eff on out! He/she was also rude when I think it was pretty clear we were leaving because of his/her attitude. That's not why I'm writing this review, I hate rude service, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt as long as it's not repeated. Yeah, it's rude, but not worthy of trying my best to deter someone from a location AS I AM DOING RIGHT NOW HINT AVOID AVOID unless they've gone above and beyond to make an experience unenjoyable. But, as someone who works in the industry, I like to tell people when they're doing a great job, and where they need to improve. This is where the problem starts. I called and spoke to the manager, and was absolutely clear I was not interested in identifying the employee or the section I was sitting in - that if he mentioned the incident to the entire staff, the rude employee would know they had messed up, and hopefully learn from it. And maybe, in turn, everyone could learn from it. He was very persistent about it - and to his credit, very concerned with "making it right," but this was to the point of telling me there were servers he "wanted to get rid of." It was off-putting - a manager should defend his or her staff, if at all possible. That doesn't mean not apologizing for poor behavior, it means that you do not start throwing your entire staff under the bus because one person has a complaint, especially when you don't know who it is. Take it seriously, yes, but don't roll out the red carpet at the expense of your employees who are probably really loyal to you. That's not the kicker. The kicker, is when he was trying to guess the employee who gave us bad service, he asked - not kidding - "was it the 'colored' girl with big eyes?" It is 2014. This language is unacceptable. He was very concerned with me making this a "home office issue," based on the service. Never. But I am considering making it a "home office issue" because he referred to a black employee as "colored." Absolutely unacceptable. Your service has always been terrible, every Logan's Steakhouse on the planet, but boy, you really put that cherry on top with your dose of racism, Saginaw.

Don't go there when it's busy. We waited twenty minutes only to watch others seated before us. When we inquired, the hostess checked her list and informed us that we had already been seated. I can not recommend Logan's service.

I was excited to see a new option in Saginaw, but overall it was "okay" at best. Damn chains. Pluses: The host was really friendly. We were greeted and seated promptly at 7:30 on a Saturday night. The booths have really high backs, which make them seem private. Negatives: I don't like the peanut shells all over. They got in my sandals. It was freezing inside. The food, all of it, was just okay. My husband ordered a 20 ounce ribeye, which was cooked properly but horribly underseasoned. The appetizer platter was straight freezer to microwave to table (wings, cheese sticks and potato skins). My salad was watery. Our server seemed disinterested or scared as hell. I ordered a water when she greeted us and had to ask for it again when the entrees arrived. She never attempted to engage us at all: straight up order taker. Eh.

I was at this restaurant 3 times. The first time I gave it 3 stars. Something happened between the first time and the other 2 times. Nothing was the same as the first review. I know I said I would not return. But the 6 people I was with out voted me. So as not to be a jerk, I went. The whole meal was just so so. The rest of the party unfortunately for them, agreed with me. The steaks tasted like they were soaked or marinated in something to make the steaks tender. ***Well here it is March 30,2014 and I am eating here again. This time it gets 5 STARS.*** I had the 16oz prime rib and the first one brought out was over 2 inches thick. It was cooked well and had to be sent back. The second one was cooked to order, a perfect medium. I'm sorry to say it was not as thick as the first one but the taste was awesome. Even though it was good, if I hadn't sent the first one back, this one would have gone back to the kitchen for another one. There was soooo much fat that I had a side dish overflowing with it. Now I know prime rib is traditionally fat, but this was extreme. In fact, the kitchen staff could have trimmed it a little and it would have looked more pleasant to the eye. There were so many people there at 3:30 there was a wait of over 30 people. We just beat the rush. The Caesar salad was good but not an authentic Caesar. There were bits of a piece of cheese ripped into the salad, instead of the shredded cheese that typically goes into a Caesar salad. Unfortunately the baked potato was over nuked and very difficult to pull away from the skin. The banana pie (cake) with whipped cream and carmel was taken home to eat later. When eating this banana concoction later, I could only eat 1/4 of it. It was so rich. It took 2 days but I finished it off. It was good but very, very rich. The person that I was with had the largest porterhouse steak available on the menu and requested medium rare. He said it was perfect. His potato was cooked just perfect and his house salad looked great. My potato was probably the original potato and just warmed up when the second prime rib was ready. Wait staff were extremely attentive. And two different managers came by to see if everything was good. I definitely will eat here again. Maybe in the past the management was different. Never the less, even with a few flaws, it's thumbs up all the way!

Expensive - inexpensive food. The Italian salad dressing was clearly from GFS. The sweet potato fries were overlooked and while the steak was perfectly cooked they only had 2 selections under 10oz size: filet and sirloin. I was surprised by this. Most meals will be about $15. It was not what I expected to see clearly canned mushrooms on top of steak - all 6 slices cost a additional 1.99. I would not go back :(

I know one of their big things is you're supposed to throw your peanut shells on the floor. I can't do it. I don't want you to make a mess at my place and I'm not going to make a mess at your place. I even collect my plates together and wipe up any of my spills when I'm done. Sorry. I've been here a few times and although it's a bit pricey I'm happy with it. I've had the meatloaf twice and loved it. Strange since I don't like meatloaf in general. It just sounded good on one visit so I got it, then had to get it again the next time. Today I got the shrimp trio dinner. The shrimp were all very good and unlike most "shrimp dinners" at other places there was actually enough food. There was a good amount of small fried shrimp in some spices, some larger fried shrimp, and a skewer of shrimp scampi I believe. The skewer shrimps were awesome and the others were very good. You also get 2 sides with it. Get a grilled vegetable skewer, they're great. Service has been pretty good each time I've been there. The parking lot always looks completely full but I've still gotten in right away and placed an order quickly. If I recall correctly on one visit it did take a while for the food to show up but nowhere near the 2 hour lunches I've had to take when a few of us went to Fridays.

This place is always packed. Must be great, right? Wrong! The rolls are great, I could eat about 10 of them. That's where it ends. Slow service. My steak was cooked fine (med rare), but had no seasoning on it. The table next to us sent a steak back twice for being cooked far too long. The sweet potatoes are cooked until the are mushy, yellow, and out of flavor. And the skins get dried to the point where they flake off inside the potato. I think the macaroni and cheese are from the generic brand at the store. Ribs were burned pretty bad. Last but not least, this place holds what, 200 people and has one toilet? On a previous trip I got the driest, most overcooked burger I ever had in my life and the bun was stale. Terrible. I think there just aren't enough cooks for as many restaurants as there are in Saginaw. How do you mess this stuff up? On the other hand they have a large bar and lots of TV's. Lone Star's sweet potato was a mile above this place. Go to Chili's or Outback or Applebee's and just bring your own peanuts.

We went before 4:00 p.m. when it was still slower before the dinner rush. The food was great, now I did notice the service slowed down a bit after it picked up. I can understand some bad experiences when it's extremely busy. It would happen at any large restaurant. Go as early as you can to get good service and food!

I was at this location the day they opened, which was Labor Day, 2012. I don't ususlly go to a place until they have been open for a couple of weeks, but have liked most Logan's elsewhere, so gave it a try. It was awesome that first time, and I have been back at least 1-2 times monthly since. Food and service are always great. Favorite server is Nichole W, who is awesome and goes "the extra mile" to give great customer service. Being a creature of habit, I always get the Ribeye. It has been great on every occasion I've been there. I will continue to go in the future.

We ended up here even though we really wanted to eat at Outback, so I don't know if this location was really bad or if it was just disappointment because we're comparing it negatively to Outback. My husband and I were really not too impressed with this place. The salads were excessively cold. My husband ordered his steak medium and I ordered mine medium well; both of ours were very close to well done. The manager offered my husband $3 off the bill because his steak was so overdone, which was at least a good gesture. We also ordered the baked potatoes with everything on them, which was an extra $1 charge for each so I expected a lot more toppings than what was included. As far as chain steak houses go, Outback is much, much better than Logan's. I will say that the service was very attentive, though, and there were two buckets on the table, one of which was for disposing of your used peanut shells. I had only ever been to Logan's once before and it was a definite improvement that they weren't tossing the shells on the floor today.

Ordered a steak medium and while it wasn't overcooked, the meat was VERY difficult to cut. toughest cut of meat ever. My dad's steak was tough as well. My mom ordered the steak with onions and they forgot them. The rolls were good. I may come back, but I will probably never order a steak from this place again.

Service was slow. It took us about 10 minutes before we got our drinks. This happened at 2 pm and there weren't many people. We didn't see our waitress very much for refills either. My glass was empty for a while, seems like they need a little more training. My wife liked their flavored tea. It also took a long time to get our food. I got a spicy chicken sandwich which had good flavor but seemed like it went from the deep drier to the bread, it was really greasy. My wife order a buttermilk chicken which she liked, it was a huge portion. Two large chicken breasts and mashed potatoes smothered in white gravy. My wife took the kids to the bathroom and she said it was disgusting and could tell it wasn't cleaned, sinks dirty, toilet paper on the floor, toilets didn't look to be cleaned. A good tell on the quality of a restaurant is how clean the bathrooms are. I also noticed that a couple in a booth sent a steak back for not being cooked properly, it was fixed and camelback quickly. Now that could have been the person ordering it wrong, but at a lot of steak houses when you order, the wait staff will remind the person how it will come out. This was the same waitress we had. As I said before the waitress we had definitely needs more more training.

My husband and I stopped here about 9pm on a Monday night for dinner. There was no one at the hostess station and about 5 minutes we were seated in a nearly empty dining room. There was one other table with 3 other customers. The waitress came around and gave us the drink specials and menus. She came back fairly quick with my water and my husbands ice tea. She asked if we wanted any appetizers and when my husband said no. She said.."um...okay?!?" kind of snarky and turned away. We kind of looked at each other but were like ok..maybe it's a bad day. She came back about 5 minutes later, an acceptable timeframe to take our order and dropping off the rolls. A few minutes later my husband had placed his now empty ice tea to the edge of the table. The waitress came back to the table to drop off my husbands side salad - and that's literal. She dropped the plate on the table and shoved it at my husband didn't pick up the empty ice tea or acknowledge it. As we sat there a guy walked by reeking of weed, when I commented on how strong the smell was, my husband pointed out it was a Logan's worker as the shirts say the restraunts name on the back. 10 minutes still no refill. The entire time I can see the one other table Was having problems as well. There were drink specials listed on promotional things on the tables and apparantly the one on their table had outdated pricing. When the mgr was called over he refused to honor the pricing that his staff left on the table and that group was discussing leaving...they hadn't been even given water and they had been there for about the same amount of time as we were! I called the manager over and we told him about the attitude and poor service. At which point the manager said you haven't even received your food, how could you have had bad service? Really? Wow..so apparantly customer service doesn't start till you receive your entree. (Oh, by the way, when the manager was called over was when his tea was refilled...which is even more frustrating because he pointed out there is always a pitcher near where we were seated. Pure laziness. ) then the mgr. seemed flabbergasted when my husband said a worker even walked by reeking of weed and said, " I'm sorry you were offended by that." and " they aren't allowed to leave on their breaks so I don't know how that would've happened." My husband and I both went to college, we know what weed smells like. Beyond that, don't do it at work! Then the manager said well what can I do? We said nothing, this was not the first time we've had poor service here and that we were leaving. He wanted to know about the last time, which I felt was just waiting till our food came out. As we went to leave the waitress came with our meals and the manager said, let me comp your meals. We declined. Here's the deal, I don't want a comped meal with still crappy service. Get it together, there are many other choices out there and I've given it a couple chances - still not good. Go to Famous Dave's, Outback or anywhere else!

Not good. Overpriced for low quality. Overcooked filet at a "steakhouse". Really? Server left drinks unfilled, never asked if i would like another, even water. Arrived with check without asking if we would like dessert or coffee or anything else. Will not return for any reason.
