Omg! Fantastic... Stopped for lunch and followed Yelps advice... Best Cobb Salad I have ever had... So many happy customers... So many choices, and desserts to die for. The no bake cookies, coconut cake, cupcakes... Don't pass by this little gem.

On a road trip through Michigan and came but for a quick lunch stop. The sandwiches were good, but expensive. We opted to share the steak sandwich, it was very tasty. Given the price, we thought it might be enough to fill two of us, but not quite. The neighborhood itself did not seem to have much more to recommend it, though the restaurant was a fine stop for lunch along the way.

I travel all over the country for work and this the best tuna melt that I have ever had.

Fralia's is a really great deli! The sandwiches are a medium portion, but enough to fill you up. They also have really good soup! Just don't go here for a lunch meeting because it usually gets pretty loud in here around noon. Check the website for their menu.

just YUM! super friendly staff, super fresh food. I would suggest the jenny salad - best salad I have ever had :)

I'm a fan their cobb sandwich. I usually swap out the bleu cheese for mozzarella and then add honey mustard. My big brother would always come here for lunch when he was a senior in high school, so I owe my love for Fralia's to him. Their terragon chicken salad is yummy as well; whether it's on a sandwich or in lettuce. I love love their tomato soup!!

Holds its own with any upscale deli in a major metropolitan area in quality and originality. Lots of great vegetarian options. Hard to quibble with this gem in Old Town.

Just keeps getting better and better! I love this place! The Goodfella is the best sandwich in town in my opinion! It's cute, it's clean, and its wall decor is just enough to keep it from being a tad depressing (the theme is good, but could use a designer's touch maybe?) But the food... oh the food... not a bad thing to say! And try the snickerdoodles! Delicious!

Really enjoyed the BGLT sandwich here. Fried green tomato, bacon, lettuce, toasty buttery white bread, and seasoned mayo.

In town randomly for work. Yelped the main drag. Cool atmosphere, great photos in men's bathroom. Nice and friendly staff. I had the steak salad. It was top notch. Bourdain is on the wall so u know they are legit:).

My third visit, just a great place to get a nice lunch, these people know what a customer wants.

Nice atmosphere, clean, good sandwiches in all different styles, friendly people. Allegedly the main cook is not a vegetarian so he will not make vegetarian option soups & meat soup bases are added in everyone per staff reply when I asked why no vegetarian options were available. :-( Prices are a bit higher than other cafes like this one. Although you walk out feeling satisfied from the meal.

The grilled veggie sandwich is amazing! Fralias is such a breath of fresh air in the saginaw area. Delicious!

Never had a bad experience here. They are conveniently located by my office so I stop by for lunch at least once a month or so. Great selection of fresh soups, salads and sandwiches for even the pickiest of eaters (I would know, I am one). Definitely a nice break from the classic chain restaurants around the area. The atmosphere is definitely built for conversations and interacting with others - there are no TV's and tables are packed in pretty close. Again, it's a nice change of pace from the norm. Be sure to try one of their dessert bars too! SO GOOD!

Second time here even better than the first! Pork Belly Sandwich (arugula, cheese, pickled asparagus, YUM!), and Jenny's Salad (goat cheese, egg, peppers, tomato, honey mustard vinaigrette.) The chicken and wild rice soup was delicious, albeit a bit bland - salt please! Staff is awesome, always friendly even when busy. Highly recommend!

Out of this world sandwiches. Large selection of choices. Fresh ingredients in imaginative combinations. My order has always been made right then in a timely manner and has always been correct. My only complaints 1) No late afternoon or early evening hours 2) it's all so good I have a hard time deciding which to pick.

Great tasting food that can't be found anywhere else. Their Cobb salad is amazing as well as their club Cobb sandwich. I haven't had anything there that I haven't liked. After only going a few times the people started to remember my name and meal preference.

Here's the thing....I LOVE sandwich places, and there is nothing more frustrating than going to a new sandwich place youve never been to, and it tastes like every other sandwich place you've ever had. THIS place is way different. I normally always base a sandwich place on the italian version of a sandwich, So I ordered the goodfella (#20). HANDS DOWN, the best italian style sandwich i've ever had. Super fresh ciabatta that has an awesome crisp on the inside, and is super moist and soft on the outside, thick cuts of meat and cheese, and the pesto and artichoke top it right off. You Win, Fralias. You have absolutely earned my business in the future....

The best Cobb salad I have ever had! I work very close to Fralias and order take out or dine in very often. They are always busy but do a great job at getting food out efficiently. The menu is full of delicious options from soups to salads and sandwiches there is not a bad item on the menu! Also very healthy options if you are looking for something lighter to have for lunch. Desserts are really good too!

I have to review this place because it's one of my favorites when I'm home in Saginaw. Cute decor, quick service and the best sandwiches ever! This place is truly a gem and always fun to go to to catch up with friends over lunch. Would recommend to anyone looking for something new that isn't a chain.

If you like a well made sandwich and enjoy a great community atmosphere, I strongly recommend this place. If you're a carnivore, go for a Goodfella or a BLT; if not, there are plenty if veggie-friendly options.

For some reason, every time I try to go to this place, it's always closed. Even after work during the early afternoon. It really makes me angry, especially when people talk about the city coming back. If it were, they would not have those ridiculous hours. If Jimmy John's and Subway can stay open, so can they!

The best lunch in Saginaw county, period. The salads, sandwiches, and (in particular) soups are top notch. I have lunch here 2-4 times a week, and have never had a bad a bad meal. My highest recommendation!

Best Sandwiches in Saginaw, Hands-down! They have a huge and very unique menu- Plenty of veggie options (which are mostly non-existent in Saginaw). Homemade sides and cookies are equally as yummy. It's M-F lunch ONLY and get get crowded with hospital and court traffic. It's also a dine and dash type of place, even though the environment is cozy. No Wi-Fi here, they are trying to turn tables. You Best bet? Order beforehand for pick-up, Oh and have your boss pay- 2 Sammies and Pasta Salad ran us $28!

This is the probably the best place to eat in Saginaw as I remember correctly. I visited this place several times and enjoyed the salads and sandwich selections. Everything tastes fresh and the restaurant itself is nice and cozy but not too tiny. Its open only for lunch from 11a - 3pm on weekdays. That's unfortunate because they make a pretty decent sandwich. Their prices are a little steeper than I'd expect in Saginaw but the product is pretty good. I have tried meat and meatless sandwiches and their salads and all are recommendable.

Worth the detour from 75 on our trip back south for a great lunch. Fantastic soups, salads, and sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. Even Anthony Bourdain has been there (they had pics on the wall). The chicken soup had homemade noodles with big chunks of carrots, onions and celery. The French dip was very good and the havarti grilled cheese was some of the best I've had. The honey mustard made it special. Unique sandwich options plus all the standbys. The baked goods tasted homemade. The chicken tarragon salad was also very good. This place has plenty of options if you eat gluten free too. Well worth the detour! Note they have on street parking but I had no issues.

Great friendly service best I have received in a while. I went at 1:15 and it wasn't terribly busy still a few tables available. I had the meatloaf sandwich grilled with soup and it was excellent, I will definitely be back!

I love Fralia's! It is one of the only good places to eat in Saginaw. I've tried many things on the menu, and never been disappointed with any of them. I suggest the french dip, the black and blue, the mozzarella sandwich, chicken tarragon salad, all great. It's only open for lunch, which is kind of a bummer, and right at noon, it's very busy and sometimes hard to find a seat. I think most of the courthouse employees/lawyers from the firms nearby eat there. I usually try to avoid that time of day. It is noisy, but it doesn't bother me. Despite how busy it is, I've always gotten my food in a timely manner and never had any messed up orders, even in larger groups of people. If you're in Saginaw and looking for a good lunch place that isn't a chain, good luck. Fralia's is one of the only good things you'll find!

This is THE place to eat lunch in Saginaw. I got a grilled flank steak sandwich and the bf got the meatloaf sandwich. Both were ah-mazing! I can't wait to bring friends here for lunch. Oh, and the fact that you can draw on the "tablecloths" while you wait for your food is cool.

I'm not a fan of sandwiches. But this eatery is a great little place to eat during lunch. Problem: It's only open for lunch. My understanding is that they serve soups, salads, and sandwiches. However, I've only had the roast beef sandwhich (not sure which number on the menu) but I've never been disappointed. Always fresh out of the oven/toaster. Service is quick: both getting the food and removal of your plates. You may literally just have eaten the last fry/chip on your plate before the waiter/waitress pounces on your empty plate and silverware.

One of my favorite places for lunch in Saginaw. Genuine soup-and-sandwich place with a handful of veggie friendly options between $6-10. The tuna melt is my favorite but I also love the grilled veggie and a unique grilled havarti sandwich. Good salads too. One complaint: very rarely is there a vegetarian soup, but I'm not a big soup eater anyways. And the owners are good people and active in the Saginaw community. There is a reason the place is so busy during lunch time.

Fralia's is, as many have said before me, one of the best independently owned and operated food businesses in Saginaw. Food's great all around. I just wanted to chime in and recommend the Warm Goat Cheese Salad, which is often not on the menu, yet they'll still make it for you. It's delicious. I don't know why its not a regular item!

The best place for lunch in town. They soups, sandwiches, and salads. They have the best french dip I have ever had, and the fresh mozzarella sandwich is fantastic.

I love that Fralia's is in Old Town Saginaw, and not on some strip mall off Bay Road. I've been coming here for at least 3 years and I've never gotten anything I didn't like/love. Owners of the place are pleasant and very sweet. I come here for lunch as often as I can when I'm in the city. Definitely a great lunch spot!

For a city with as many residents as it does, Saginaw has a remarkable lack of good places to eat. Fralia's is the one exception I found. This is a really tremendous deli open for lunch only. When I was working in Saginaw, it was right across from the Dem's office and I'd go there at least once a week. In fact, when Michelle Obama was in town we recommended it for her, and she liked it too! If they have it, go with their strawberry salad (not on their menu but a semi-daily special), the Goodfella sandwich (Salami, Prosciuto, Fresh Mozzarella, Spinach, Tomato, Artichokes, Pesto, Mayo on Focaccia, AMAZING), or any of their soups. Can't go wrong.

Excellent, freshly made soups, salads, & sandwiches. The Greek salad is one of the best I've had; don't know what's in the dressing (which is also made from scratch), but it is addictive. The spouse loves the #12, which is a grilled flank steak sandwich with spinach, cheese (havarti?) tomato, onions, & chipotle mayo on foccacia. Delish. Service is quick--you order at the counter & they bring it to you--and friendly. They have 2 homemade soups each day and I've never had a bad one. Be sure to check the daily specials board--some of the best sandwiches and salads they make are only found here.
