This place is great. The atmosphere and food is really good and they have excellent portions. I can't finish the whitefish plate. It's huge. The iced tea is also good.

Friendly, hometown service, welcoming environment, good selection (we were here for breakfast)... Best part: the FOOD IS AMAZING!! Real homemade bread! Eggs cooked perfectly! Delicious hash browns!!! $25 for 3 very hungry adults with food left over!!! GO HERE!!!

The Denver omelette was very good. The biscuits and gravy were awesome. The pollock was just okay. The tartar sauce was too sweet. The fries were poor. The French dip was dry and too salty. The chicken, bacon, and ranch salad was just okay. The chicken was crisp and good, but the lettuce was wilted. The kitchen very slow (nearly an hour from order to food). The waitress was not very sympathetic, though she kept the coffee coming. Go for a slow breakfast. Skip the rest.

Great restaurant. Dined at this place twice in one week and can hardly wait to go back. Several at our table had the Friday night AUCE FISH DINNER and the first portions were so large that you do not have to ask for more. I had liver and onions, just like my mom used to make......delicious. Great selection of pies and yummy Texas size brownie. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive.......Enjoy once you are in this area.

If you find yourself in Rudyard, MI up in the U.P., this restaurant is wonderful! The food was excellent, big portions, with homemade bread and hamburger buns. Prices were very reasonable. Excellent service. I stopped here with my parents on a recent trip and the hearty, hot meal after a long day really hit the spot. I had breakfast with homemade cinnamon swirl bread and biscuits- delicious. Good coffee. My parents both had burgers with homemade fries and onion rings. We will definitely stop here next time we are in the U.P.!
