Ok first time at a Denny. Not happy with my service but the food was really good. We waited almost ten minutes before the waitress acknowledged us , finally comes to table & ask are we ready to order? Are you serious? Did not bother to see if we would like something to drink . I suggested we order drinks first..anyway the food was really good that's why I gave it 3 stars. My kids did not enjoy there food which surprised me.

This Denny is by far the worse Denny ever. The waiter, his name might be Rob, is the worse server. He takes forever to take orders and has an attitude doing it. He has been working there for the longest time ever, and unfortunately every time we go there, we happen to get him as our waiter!! He ruins your meal before you even have the chance of tasting. His attitude is like a seasoning that taste like s**t. It's sprinkled all over your food. My cousin tells him he wants water as a beverage, and this guy literally brings out one of those tiny shot classes filled with water and a container to refill it with in case we wanted more. What an effing joke! Since he had a sense of humor, our table of 9 left him $0.45 for tip. He's not laughing now is he? I do not recommend going there.

The food came fairly quick but it was a friday morning and there were not alot of people there, the waitress was nice. The down side is the food, all the other reviews are correct the toast is burnt to pitch black and the bacon was barely cooked. I was going to give it two stars but the french toast was good . I would recommend you to find another place though many places nearby over much better food quality

The only reason we stopped is because we were starving at 5 am and nothing else was open on Black Friday. Slow service. Food was exactly what i expected from Denny's...meh.

I'm a big fan of Denny's. I love their new menu, the iPad app that rewards you with free food when you check in, and the build your own grand slam. There are lots of healthy choices here - yes, you can eat at Denny's when you're on a diet. But this location isn't the best. In fact, it's pretty bad. And I have been to some bad Denny's locations before. But the food here is just awful. Burned toast, brown gravy on my chicken fried steak breakfast, eggshells in the eggs, way overcooked food, and more.... I wanted to give them one star but Marie P. is here with me and says her hashbrowns are awesome and "plentiful". The servers are also very nice and attentive. I feel sorry for them working in a place with such crappy food. That's got to effect their tips.

There are certain universal truths that should apply to all Denny's: 1. Open 24 hours. 2. Coffee is always available, and will always scald your tongue if you try and drink it immediately. 3. After an evening of drinking, one can enter a Denny's, and in a reasonably short amount of time get served pancakes or other alcohol-absorbing foodstuffs in order to begin the process of not feeling like hell the next morning. Unfortunately for this particular location, the Meatloaf song "2 outta 3 ain't bad" doesn't work for me. Disclaimer: no, we were not "drunk". "A few drinks with friends" at a fundraiser does not "drunk" make. Well, most of us weren't drunk. One was, and it was his demand that led us to this Denny's. And based on the three universal truths above, we should've been okay, right? Right. Wrong. Yes, they were open. Yes, there was coffee. But for the love of all that's good and holy in the world, how is it possible that five people can wait 45 minutes for food...and I'm being generous by using the word "food" to describe what ultimately made it to our table. Because that included: - Toast that was burnt. Now, I don't mean "a little too dark for my tastes", I mean "burnt". Like "I'm halfway convinced it wasn't actually bread at one point, but rather that it was a flattened charcoal briquette that they tried to pass off as bread" burnt. - An omelette...well, I'm assuming that one point in time there were eggs involved and it technically could qualify as an omelette. Unfortunately, the plate was a pool of grease (not butter...grease) that the...yellowish mass was floating in...and it's hard to say if those were actually peppers in there. My bet was on containers of red, green and yellow play-doh having been found by the kitchen staff, torn into small, doughy pieces, and tossed in for giggles. - Eggs "over easy"...should not look like a blob of mucus with a yellow glob in the middle. And should not have hunks of eggshell in them. - Pancakes should be cooked. That seems pretty basic and realistic, right? That there shouldn't be masses of uncooked batter floating around your plate once you cut a wedge off with your fork? I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. Reminder: this was after waiting for forty...five...minutes. And there was one other table populated at the time. Super duper ultra mega fail. I wouldn't go back to this place after a tequila bender.

Before this past October, my husband and I never ate at Denny's. But when we went to Las Vegas, Denny's was virtually the only breakfast chain there. We ate at Denny's 5 days straight and ordered the same thing every time. 2-3 pieces of French toast, hash browns with bell peppers, onions and cheese, and 2 pieces of bacon. Really good! But the hash browns we had at THIS Denny's, on Gratiot, was wayyyy better than those we had in Vegas! French toast was equally as good, as well as the bacon. But those hash browns were just so fantastic!! Bravo! We also had very prompt service, clean silverware and a nice waitress! No complaints here!

Went here for lunch... Took forever to get seated wanted to use a high chair for my daughter but I wasn't gonna have her sitting in something cake with filth. A lot of the tables weren't bused and were filled with dirty dishes. When I did get to order I ordered a hamburger and fries. Waited... Waited...and waited. Half hour passed, no waiter to explain what the hold up was. It's just a hamburger people. At that point I packed up my daughter and left. Poor service. Worst Denny's I've ever been to. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location.
