1st time visit last week . Heard many good things about the place . The beans and rice were excellent , chicken taco was excellent also . The Chicken burrito and enchilada were ok . My wife ordered 2 chicken flautas and a chicken enchilada . The flautas were over cooked taquitos . Don't look for the beer prices On the menu , because they aren't there . $4.50 for Tacate . I mentioned the high price of the beer at checkout , Not much reaction . BEWARE OF THE $4.50 IMPORTED BEER !!!

They have very good salsa and ok chips. Their food was just ok, nothing I'd go out of my way for. It's good to satisfy a craving, but nothing to plan around.

For Mexican food this place has no flavor at all. I have tried them twice before I posted this. The decor is like something found in dumpsters I could look past it for good food but no flavor at all. Chips don't taste fresh obviously not made there and they didn't even try to heat them up. I have been told the fajitas have good flavor but I will just pass they got my money twice already. I think the only reason they have business is because the people are to lazy to drive to another Mexican food establishment since this place has no other places to eat for a few miles.

I would have to say the best fajitas I have ever had anywhere. The margaritas are mighty enjoyable as well. Definitely worth the wait at this little place.

Well, there's good and not-so-good. Both the menu (bean and rice combo plates) and decor are typical neighborhood Mexican. The food is a little bland but perfectly edible. As in, if we're near, we'll stop for lunch, but we won't go out of our way to eat here. The chimichangas and the fajitas are good, if a little bland. On the down side, they have some hygiene issues. I'm not a fan of finding old food stuck to chip baskets or of having flies buzzing around the table. I'm hoping these were anomalies because this has only happened on one visit.

Really don't understand? Have eaten here several times, because my in laws love it? They are ALWAYS packed? It's really a hit with locals??? Honestly, I think it is "TERRIBLE!" 1 star because I had to. "HATE" this place!!! The only thing even tolerable here is the guacamole. Every other thing I have tried is just plain bland. Amigo's is right up the road & much better! For that matter, Taco Bell tastes like 5 star mexican, next to this place. Hate giving locally owned businesses bad reviews, but the truth is the truth. Sorry :-(

Fajitas are the best thing here. Homemade secret sauce and much more. Everything I've had here ever since I was a young kid was good. I enjoy coming here. Although I order to go's more often now. Last time I was there was pretty dirty and unkempt alot of flies. I think it's just the building getting older and run down. They seriously need to expand! They have the loyal business! Good food, very small place, somewhat overpriced.

Been going here for 20+ years. Food is always good the staff is always friendly. If you like authentic TexMex food you like this place.

I had a taco salad and it was disgusting. My friend has enchiladas and he also said it was gross. I could have made better Mexican food at home and for cheaper. It was overcrowded, and loud.

  • Deb C.

I would give this place 4 stars but it really is dumpy inside. Highly in need of a makeover. The fajitas are incredible! Pricey though for the decor. Service is always quick and friendly. Their gold margaritas are very good too.

AMAZING steak fajitas! Absolutely a must when you stop in. The margaritas are pretty good, too. It is a very small restaurant, but we've always been seated quickly. This is absolutely the best mexican restaurant downriver!

Best steak fajitas I've ever had! I can't even try fajitas anywhere else because they just don't compare to Three Hermanos. Whatever sauce they pour over the fajitas is perfect. They recently updated as well & it looks great! You could fill up just on chips & salsa too. I get the mild, and it's perfect for my taste! Sometimes I stop by just to grab a bag & container of the chips & salsa. This place is a usual dine in for our birthdays or a special occasion.

First time there today. Food was Ok. Service was so-so. Wait time long - to be expected on a Friday. I'll go back hoping for a better experience.

This one of those places everyone i know raves about, so i decided to try it after a nice walk through the Metro park, BAD IDEA! I should have known as soon as i walked in the rickety door that slams behind you what i was in for, the place is a dump to say the least. Torn booths, mismatched chairs, dingy greasy decor, its like eating in a gas station bathroom. We (me and my female companion) were seated by one of the teenage skanks walkiing around in tight t-shirts and black leggings, real classy like i want to see your cellulite ghetto booty and camel toe while i eat. I was seated only after a five minute debate with the staff if the empty torn botth from 1971 was available, or if we were going to be seated next to a table of 8 screaming unruly, dirty faced red neck spawn. I should have walked out at this point. Ok 5 minutes go by and we get the booth (checked for bed bugs) left with two menus by the future Jerry Springer guest and were then ignored for 15 minutes, no drinks, no greeting NOTHING! i started to get up to leave when a male waiter comes to the table, but let me digress for a minute, the entire place isnt big enough to swing a dead cat in so how the hell can someone be ignored for 15 minutes ? its not like she couldnt see me, must have been more important things to do like post a selfie. But the guy waiter comes with no apology and takes our order without a smile or any other niceity, the bad points just continue to rack up. After no refills on our sodas, maybe its because i didnt have a gun rack on my truck, the food finally came and to my surprise (not really) it sucked! I ordered three soft beef tacos and my lovley lady friend ordered the chefs nachos lol a chef wouldnt come anywhere near this place! The meat was dry and bland, theres was 6 count em 6 diced tomato pieces and some substance i think was cheese, but i could be wrong. Why people rave about this place i dont know, the food was microwave burrito quality. and the clientele was a bunch of loud redneck, trucker cap wearin hicks, ugh . The parking lot was ample, that is ample for all the good ol four wheelin monster trucks that took up two places. sorry next time ill stick to Royal oak and Novi. This place is out in the sticks for a reason.

The food is fantastic. Some of the best Mexican I've had outside if Mexican Town. Considering there isn't much else in the area, you'll definitely want to check it out if you're nearby.

Never had a bad meal!! The fajitas are the best! The shrimp fundido is amazing!! It's a small place but the quality of the food is great. The staff is always friendly. Get there early because it gets crowded from open until close.

A little more pricey than the average Mexican restaurant in this area. Three Hermanos offers a better variety than most as well. The Enchiladas en Suiza (cheese and cream sauce) are a real winner not found in many other establishments. They also offer more dishes with seafood filling than the average Mexican joint... although I'm not here to rave about frozen 51-60 count shrimp rolled in a tortilla. I stopped going there back when they still allowed smoking in restaurants here in Michigan as the imaginary dividing line between the smoking and non-smoking sections didn't do anything to keep the entire (small) dining room from being engulfed in a butzis aroma. Nice for a change of pace, but I won't go out of my way to eat there, and I would never stand in line to eat there. Nothing hateful, just not wonderful.

While the chips left something to be desired - tasted like they'd been made three days earlier and warmed up before being served - the hotter salsa was pretty good. When I asked for more our server said that they actually have an even hotter one available by request. But since I didn't want to breathe fire on my flight back home I passed on that one. I ordered three chicken tacos - one hard, two soft. They were loaded with chicken! They arrived with cheese on top and some lettuce on the plate. Glad I'd asked for a side of sour cream! Our server was great and this place was packed full at 5pm on a Wednesday, which was a shock to me. All in all a pretty good Mexican dinner, but totally Michiganized compared to what I usually get in Atlanta. Work on the chips - make them great - and you'll have a winner here. Also, some fresh Mexican cheese instead of standard cheddar, but again that's the Atlanta in me talkin. I guess they're catering to their Michigan clientele so I can't take them down to a 3 as I originally planned.

The best fajitas in the state! Seriously, awesomesauce. Seems like we are always lucky, and show up at the perfect time, getting seated immediately...

Epitome of diamond in the rough. Three Hermano's is a TINY, tiny place sort of in the middle of nowhere...and by sort of I mean totally. The parking lot is proportionate to the restaurant so it's also tiny. Fridays and Saturdays, there's a line out the door and sometimes up to a 2 hour wait. That's definitely a sign that someone here is doing something right, huh? (Or maybe they just need to expand, but once you taste the food you know what's up!) Their chips and salsa are alright, not the best, but still good. What I want to tell you about is the cheese and sour cream enchiladas. OHMYFOODGOD. Sosososo SO good! You have GOT to try these enchiladas. I crave these ALL the time! Just thinking about them makes me want to drive the 9 hours home and go straight to Three Hermano's. Ahh... They have good guac here too. All of their food is awesome. The tamales are good too, but when I want tamales I usually head downtown to Mexicantown in Detroit. Anyhowwww... Three Hermano's is closed on a random day of the week, either Monday or Tuesday (can't recall now but will update when I get home and go back), so make sure you call up there. And if you're going on Friday or Saturday, expect a wait that could be an hour or two... Go before you're hungry. But don't let the tiny space, long wait or shabby decor fool you... this place is all about the food and the food is all about the delicious.

Super tiny restuarant. Margaritas are ok. Steak Fajitas are TO DIE FOR!! they come out sizzling and are marinated at your table in this mixture of what tastes like soy and worchestire. The steak is super tender and the dinner for two is actually enough for 4. Their beans are the best !!! Chips always seem to be over cooked, and salsa is not the best I have ever had. But if you love steak fajitas.. YOU HAVE TO GO !!!

    (5)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
