Best pizza I've had in a long time. If you ask you can get the old fashioned pepperoni that curls up when cooked ! YUM MANY MENU ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM chicken Italian ect... It is a must try

The pizza is quite good, however their service sucks. If you are thinking of stone pizza for dinner, I recommend ordering before anyone is hungry. Like looooooong before anyone is hungry...

Let's clear it up right away. It is not called Stone Pizza because they are cooking it on a pizza stone. They are not. I imagine Stone is the family name. The pizza is bland and lacks substance. A little too light and airy. I have been in here 3 times now and the pizza stays pretty consistent. Last time I asked the girl to make it a "little well done". She agreed to but did not act on it. As far as pizza goes this will be a last resort place for me, however their Kalstones, their version of a calzone, was very good. I will go back for one of those.

Decided to try something out of the norm for us, and picked this place based on your reviews. And I have to say, I am very pleased we did. The pizza ingredients were fresh and for the price, what a steal. Got the stones special and cheese bread. The pizza wasn't greasy, and the bread had a generous serving of cheese. Even better for leftover breakfast.

We were looking for a new pizza down river. I came across stone pizza, read some reviews on it, and thought I would give it a try. I decided to do a pick up order, so I could get an eyeball on the place. My first impression as I pulled into the parking lot, is that it looked sort of run down. I was less happy after I entered the building. In a word-dirty. There were two employees on duty, one of them in the back making pizzas , answering the telephone, and handling customers. Unfortunately, that was not the only thing she was handling. She was also handling money and pizza dough and ingredients to pizzas as she assembled them, without benefit of washing her hands, or even putting on plastic gloves first. The other employee was quietly sitting in the customer area folding pizza boxes. You might at this point think that I am crazy for taking the pizza. But I wanted to get my final impression, that being the product. At best, a generic run-of-the-mill pizza. even though I ordered it well done, when it came out, the crust in the center was undercooked, and some of the cheese on the pizza was still in shredded form. In this case, yes, I would prefer DiGiorno over delivery. Not over priced at $14 for a large with three items, but the pizza was not worth it. Downriver, I would still have to go with Frank's in Wyandotte or Del's in Trenton.

We moved to the area about 8 years ago. Stone was recommended to us by my brother, and I haven't ordered pizza from anywhere else since. I even had them cater my 2 year olds birthday party. We fed 25 people for $125 and had so much left over everyone got to take some home. Everyone at the party raved about how good it was. One of my relatives even joked he wanted to move downriver so he could order from here all the time.

I have ordered from here several times. I have ordered the pizzas and the calzones. I like the fact that they use fresh mushrooms and not from a can it makes a huge difference to the pizza. I think the dough and the sauce are very good. That is why I have been back several times.

Decided to order some delivery pizza that was a bit more out of the ordinary routine. I thought Stone Pizza looked pretty classy. The toppings were unlike anything I'd ever seen on downriver pizza! Purely high quality. Not shabby at all on price for what you're getting.

Visited this pizza store Friday, met one of the owners. Very nice people and a very good product. Bad news is that Fort Street in Riverview is under construction until 2014! Please support this local business, you won't be disappointed!

Had the pizza twice and both times felt it was very flavorless however the subs and calzones were pretty good.

Best pizza downriver by far! Workers are very polite every time I go there. Also the prices for the food is very reasonable!

I can't believe only two other people have reviewed Stone Pizza. Seriously people?! I know there are WAY more people around here eating Stone than that. SO. EFFING. GOOD. I just noticed while browsing Google that my new place is only about 3 miles from Stone. I thought it was worth a shot to ask... and I was so geeked when they said I was in their delivery area! I hadn't had the pizza in at least three years, since I was down in the area visiting friends and they raved about the pizza and insisted I try it. Let me tell you... all their compliments about the pizza were STILL an understatement. This is by far the best pizza I have EVER HAD. It's everything that I want in a pizza! The crust is crisp, but not crunchy. Perfectly cooked, even after sitting in the car during delivery. It's a nice, heavy dough and unlike cheap $5 pizzas, you only need a few slices to fill you up. Yet somehow, the inside still manages to be soft and airy. It reminds me of the perfect chocolate chip cookie... a nice crisp outside that gives way to a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture on the inside. The pizzas don't go flat in the middle either; there is a nice even consistency throughout. The sauce is AMAZING -- robust, perfectly spiced, and not too thin. I'm very picky about my pizza sauce. It can make or break a pizza for me. Theirs is pretty close to perfect, in my opinion. The toppings are awesome as well! They are fresh, flavorful and they don't skimp on the servings. I also got cheese bread with my order. The cheese was missing on part of it, I'm assuming it slid over to one side during delivery. It had a great flavor though. They also forgot my dipping sauce. However, everything else was so good that I'm not even calling to complain! The girl that helped me on the phone was new, I think -- she had to put me on hold a few times to ask questions. She was very friendly though, and the holds times were always very brief. Besides the missing dipping sauce, my order was accurate. It was fresh and hot when it arrived, and the cute delivery kid was friendly as well. It was definitely quick -- I was quoted 45 minutes, which is already a pretty good time for dinner rush on a Friday night -- and it only took them 37-38 minutes from the time I called until it got to my door, three miles away in construction. I found a special on their web site... $13.00 for a large 2-topping and cheese bread. After tax and delivery (only $2 for delivery!), it was $15.78. A very competitive price, and when you add in the awesomeness and quality of what you're getting, the value can't be beat! I ate about 1/3 of the cheese bread and 1/4 of the pizza, and I am stuffed. This will be enough for at least three meals! If you live in their delivery area, or don't mind picking it up, or even if you're just passing through town, don't miss out on trying this place! Highly recommended!
