Absolutely awful from top to bottom. The wait staff was incredibly rude and ignored us multiple tables for long periods of times while she was seen lounging around at the bar. The wait times in between ordering drinks, food and the arrival these items were ridiculously long. The table next to us was served a steak that was unfit to eat yet the server took at least five minutes to suggest a replacement which took almost 20 minutes to receive. The food was horrendous. I am becoming nauseas just thinking about the 'Chicago style pizza' that was thin crust with some sort of cinnamon based sauce. I regret not telling the staff that the vast majority of people who hear Chicago style pizza imagine deep dish, stuffed pizza. The opposite of thin crust. The Mac and cheese was incredibly bland. I will never eat here again. Ever.

Went there for a birthday dinner. The inside was beautiful, however service was not very good. The waitress didn't listen well, was forgetful, didn't know the menu, and brought our food out at different times. The food itself was hit and miss. The steak and sweet potato were great. Bonus points for having two hearted ale on tap! The beet salad was very disappointing. It was made with iceberg lettuce and sugary craisins. The cheese and avocado were lacking, the spinach was nearly non existent. The gold coast pizza had really good toppings, but there was hardly any sauce on it. It made the whole thing dry and hard to enjoy. The birthday chocolate sunday was homemade and delicious. They potentially have a really good thing going in there, but the details just didn't come together.

Fish Tacos And Chitown Burger Were Good. Wait Staff Friendly And Attentive. Only Real Complaint Is No Draft Beer Even Though They Had Several Taps. Hardly Anyone In The Place On Saturday Night During Msu/U Of M Game. Not Sure How They Will Stay Open.

They now have their liquor license. Excellent prime rib steak sandwich and fettuccine Alfredo. Off the beaten path. Decent menu selection. We will be back.

Chi town is a prime candidate for a restaurant reality show. You walk into chi-town, and feel if the restaurant has an identity crisis. You have the beautiful looking restaurant from the outside, and then you have an inside that lacks any warmth, or atmosphere. The dinning room looks like its designed to hold a wedding, or a party, rather than a functioning restaurant. They have a DJ setup in the middle of the dinning room which makes no sense, bright red walls with nothing on them, and nothing that makes you want to spend a lot of time there. The food was also disappointing. Pizza was cold, fries seemed to be reheated, fish was nothing special. A $60 dinner for our party, and we all left the restaurant still hungry. I give chi-town 9 months until their doors are closed

This restaurant has a great setting inside and out. Clean restrooms and dining area. Good selection of food and drinks. I have always had good service and good food here. I recommend this bar and restaurant if you are in the Houghton Lake/ Higgins Lake Area.
