Passed my licensure exam with a friend, so we had to go get celebratory frozen yogurt. I liked all the different flavor options (even if you had to go ask about specifics to get samples, probably too many moochers *cough cough* me *cough out there). I got a mix of pomegranate, banana, and vanilla with a lot a lot of toppings. Very disappointed that they didn't have mochi, which for this So Cal girl is a staple. $12 for 2 medium cups? Eh...but I was pushing it on the toppings so I guess it was worth it.

This is a nice, large space with one whole wall full of different flavors of soft serve yogurt and custards. They sell it for about 45 cents per pound, which by the time you put the flavors of yogurt or custard you want in the cup; and the toppings; it can cost a pretty penny. The flavors range from Vanilla and chocolate to more extravagent chocolate cookie dough and orange creamsicle. Also: cheese cake, vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate, custard flavors in vanilla and chocolate too. The toppings included: Reeses pieces, Heath, Kit Kats, chocolate chips, cookie dough, mini cheesecakes, waffle cones crushed, sprinkles, Oreo, Skittles, Nerds, Gummy bears and much more!! There was Hot fudge & Hot Carmel and lots of different syrups that were cold to put on top! You can choose the low fat and Non fat if you are looking to watch your waistline. You can choose all of the fattening stuff if that floats your boat!! I ended up choosing the Chocolate and Vanilla custard mix and I put a little bit of everything on top I think. I put: coconut, chocolate sprinkles, Oreo, Heath, Granola, Choc chips, waffle cone chips and some Hot fudge topping. It came to about $6.00 for an ice cream cup. But it really tasted awesome and seemed to be worth it in taste and choices available. The nice thing also is that they have a customer card which they swipe each time you visit. The customer gets points each time you order and pay for something and as the points add up, you get coupons or some kind of discount in the future. I highly recommend this place for families, couples or people who are going solo and just want a refreshing frozen yogurt with alot of choices. Be sure to take your time in choosing from the many available toppings. Also be sure to not freak out at the ending price of your cup of yummy charm!! It may be costly but the perks are really worth it if you ask me. The people that work there have so far been really kind and helpful.

What a great find! We went to the Northville store, and my kids absolutely loved the experience. Just like kids in a candy store, we created a concoction of ice cream and our favorite toppings. We will be back!

Best frozen yogurt shop in town! Great assortment of toppings, including fresh fruit daily. I highly recommend red velvet and dulce de leche!

There are a lot of great fro-yo places in existence today. This pleases me. Growing up Yoz Yogurt was the rare gem in a world of Ice Cream stores. Not anymore! I love that frozen yogurt is so accessible now. Low Fat, Non Fat, less guilt than ice cream. Plus you add whatever you want on top. No more disappointment when the DQ guy skimps out on the Reese's in your blizzard. Yep- serve yourself froyo places are my personal favorite dessert trend. That being said Yogurt Palooza is definitely one of the nicest places I've been to in this category. Every time I've been there it is SPOTLESS and I always see employees cleaning the machines and floors while I'm there. The toppings are always fresh and plentiful. They are very kid friendly here and the staff has been above and beyond sweet interacting with my niece. They also display kids art work on the wall which is really fun- my niece loves coming in and seeing her picture on display! They have a lot of flavors and often update a few to keep up with the seasonal favorites. I can't give too much insight into their flavors because I usually just get the plain ole tart yogurt- but it is always good. This may sound weird but it is REALLY cold. For some reason their frozen yogurt seems significantly more frozen than other places... not even sure if that's a thing, but just tellin ya what I know fellow Yelpers. A few things make them stand out - they have pumps of HOT Sanders fudge and caramel to add to your froyo. SO much better than having a bottle of Hershey's syrup with their toppings... Sanders has ruined us Michiganders for that subpar "fudge". Another standout is their location. Conveniently in downtown Plymouth there is lots to do all around for kids and grownups alike! There is not parking directly near Yogurt Palooza but it is such a pleasant place to walk around anyways so park a few blocks over and window shop on your way! They also have a rewards program - if you sign up you don't need a card or anything just mention your name or number at checkout and they keep track of how many ounces you've purchased- if you buy 100 you get 10 oz free. I know it's cold out but that doesn't make froyo any less delicious and probably has a lot less calories than a warm pie or hot plate of brownies. If your at the Plymouth Ice Festival this weekend check out Yogurt Palooza!

As a Chicagoan 8 months out of the year, I'm almost completely possibly legitimately obsessed with places like Sprinkle's and Pinkberry. I have my ways of getting things from those places for free anyways, but I'd heard good things about Yogurt Palooza and decided to give it a try. I was surprised at how self-served it was...maybe 14 types of yogurt you get yourself, then 30 or so toppings (candies, fruits, sprinkles, typical sauces, etc.) you throw on. The selection was actually pretty good, and froyo always makes you feel good when you remember it's fat free! Yum! I was also surprised at this place's pricing structure. You don't pay for small/medium/large, but the weight in ounces. It's like $.50 per ounce or something like that. To be honest, paying over $5 for what I got was a lot more than I was expecting, but you can't really put a few ounces back! Definitely nice to visit from time to time, but can get more expensive than Pinkberry and the like. Quality was also good, but the place wasn't really clean and the lone staff member didn't say a word to any of us while we were there...

This place is okay as far as the self-serve frozen yogurt shops go. I much prefer a few other stores, none of which the state of Michigan has. What I liked here was the excellent selection of toppings - I would say their topping selection is better than just about every other self-serve place I have been to (which is quite a few). They use "YoCream" brand yogurt bases, but unfortunately don't provide the nutrition for any of the yogurts, so if you want to know I would look it up before hand. Their flavor signs also did not distinguish any fat-free or low-fat options. One other negative that another reviewer noted is that you can't get your own sample, but rather have to ask an employee for a sample. Due to these factors I am in no hurry to return to this self-serve place.

I was pretty excited for Plymouth when I heard about the addition of a serve yourself yogurt shop to it's already pretty great line up of yogurt & ice cream options. I rocked out at Custard Time back in my high school years, slingin' cones, sundaes, flurries, etc. for many of Metro Detroit's finest, so I kind of hold myself in high regard when it comes to ice cream related reviews, and I advise you to do the same. Compared to the other serve yo-self shops I've visited and frequent,.Yogurt Palooza does alright. It's fun, brightly colored interior is visually appealing and speaks loudly to the tune of, "I'm about to just get crazy and make a $10 treat." They have roughly 10 or so different flavor options, ranging from the basic chocolate & vanilla, to cookies 'n cream, pineapple, etc. the line up consists of low fat, fat free, no sugar added, but unfortunately none that were dairy free (something they definitely need to get up on) Pretty extensive toppings bar. But at $0.49 an ounce (which is the same as the pricey Chicago shops) be careful with that lever! My other complaint, in addition to the lack of non-dairy options, is they don't let you get your own samples.....annoying. But overall... good stuff.

Self serve yogurt by the pound is trouble for me. Not that I set out to serve myself up 2lbs of fro yo but when there are like 15 flavors and they all sound fantastic it's hard not to pop over to each of the stations and get a little taste of everything. Before I know it my cup overfloweth and I owe like $15! WORTH IT, THO. At Yogurt Palooza I limited myself to 3 flavors--cake batter, NY cheesecake, and raspberry. All of them were excellent and it's hard to believe that they're froyo. The cake batter was deliciously sweet (maybe too sweet for most tongues but I like a sugary treat so that worked for me), the NY cheesecake was appropriately tart and reminded me of just a plain tart yogurt (a nice contrast to the sweet cake batter) and the raspberry was a nice balance of sweet and tart and paired nicely with the fruit I threw on top. The toppings are vast and also self serve. Big, colorful tubes filled with everything from gummy bears to brownie bites. They also have Sander's fudge and caramel as a topping. If you're more interested in healthy options they have a ton of fresh fruit too. Top to your heart's content but remember--you're paying by the pound! The space is cute and welcoming, especially for kids. My little cousin was with me and she loved being able to pour her own flavors and then choose her toppings. By the door they had some coloring sheets of a happy looking cup of fro-yo colored by little kids in the area. Cuz loved looking at these and picking out her favorite iterations. There isn't a ton of seating but they have a decent amount of high top seating by the window which was nice for a quick bite.

Nothing special about this place. Limited-amount of flavors and toppings--most of them taste really artificial, which I HATE, but the original flavor tastes very good. The servers were unfriendly. They didn't greet me and looked indifferent the entire time I was there. It's a decent yogurt place--more like ice-cream because of all the artificial flavors. Definitely better than orange leaf, but not as good as the one across the street from this place.

First off, ignore all the haters about the price. It's simple people. It's 49 cents an ounce. Also, the "smallest" cup they give you is obviously alot more than you actually need/ should want. The first rule of thumb for this place is portions. Despite what I have said above, overall, this place rocks! I love Yogurt Palooza! The frozen yogurt tastes tastes better than most ice cream and the best part is (depending on the types of toppings you choose) it's at half of the calories and it's actually healthy for you. Also, most of their yogurt is fat free and they also have sugar-free options. There are about 14 different flavors to choose from. Some of them are constantly changing, like for different seasons. A couple that I've noticed that stick around all the time are Cake Batter and Raspberry (which is my favorite), along with some others. Overall, if you have the time to visit Yogurt Palooza then do it! You won't be disappointed! I love this place and I think anyone you wants to have a satisfying dessert should at least try it! :)

I went with a classic vanilla and chocolate mix with Reese's pieces, chocolate jimmies, and a cherry on top. No regrets. YOLO! I was very satisfied. The shop owner or manager or just the guy who was working at the time was very intense. "You guys like yogurt? Huh? Try this one! YES! EAT IT! EAT THAT YOGURT!" I felt as if he was going to show up on our doorstep at 4 in the morning and say, "Hey, guys. I haven't since you around. You want some yogurt? EAT IT. EAT THIS YOGURT!" It was pricey, I guess. I don't know. I didn't pay for it. My good friend Steve Ross did. So, if you ever bump into a guy named Steve Ross, thank him for me.

High quality frozen yogurt - finally, somebody doing it right. A nice discovery, made while visiting family in Michigan. Real yogurt, wide array of delicious flavors, big selection of toppings (including fresh fruit and berries) and the store was a clean as you could want - a big problem with many self-serve yogurt shops. If you want cheap low quality fro yo, I'm sure you can find it - but for the really good stuff, with friendly & helpful staff and a squeaky clean environment - YOGURT PALOOZA us a real find! Highly recommended.

A huge selection of yogurts and toppings at this newly opened shop, nicely clean and friendly. Be warned your eyes will be in for a tie-dye shocker, its a little ummm bright in there. If you remember the old Coldstone Creamery you will find this place easily, they are now in that location on Main. They carry tart and regular varieties of fro yo, low fat, non fat, Activia (better for your health?) and no sugar added to pick from to boot. They have fourteen flavors at any one time and they rotate regularly so you will not get bored. Their Facebook page announces changes so you can know before you go. They did a grand opening on the 4th of August and are on their second round of flavor changing already. Be warned they sell the yogurt and toppings by the ounce. You do everything yourself, which can be problematic if you are with others and paying. Pick toppings and serving size accordingly or pony up the cash. I have seen more than one parent nearly lose their minds at the cost of their little glutton's creation. If you are sensible though it is not too outrageous. I had some of the sweet coconut and Hawaiian pineapple this weekend that really hit the spot, sharing with a more than willing James. I am on a pineapple kick though. I like that the fruit toppings are tasty and fresh looking, I am picky about that. It's worth a whirl if you are nearby.

I really like this place but you can get yourself in trouble here on several fronts -- going overboard with quantity bc it all tastes so good and then again at the cash register! lol I think the pricing is fine enough, it's just my BF is crazy and gets a 1 1/2 lb. dish of fro-yo with toppings (and he's skinny!). The different flavors of yogurt taste great but I prefer to stick to standard flavors and allow the toppings to take center stage. Like others have said, the place is pretty immaculate and having been down the street where the teenagers are clueless that you shouldn't grab brownies with bare hands after handling cash, I appreciate getting things myself! I also give them kudos for taking a spot previously rented by Cold Stone (an international chain with plenty of name recognition) and succeeding where they failed. This is a tough spot as people don't necessarily want to walk south on Main Street past Panera. They seem to have made it work. I also wish them luck with the forthcoming new Yogurt store across the street. I don't know what the h@## the other business was/is thinking, but you're the original and I'm sticking with you. It really irks me to have an identical business horn in on someone else's great idea. Go Yogurt Palooza!

I have been in here twice now. I really enjoy frozen yogurt, but often these types of shops can be dirty run by some less than attentive people. But Yogurt Palooza was clean and has been staffed by friendly attentive people. On both occasions I even saw someone walking around wiping the machines in between customers. You do have to be careful as you see and add more goodies to the bowl it can get a little expensive (no more than any other place of this type). The location is nice too. Easy to walk too while strolling around the downtown area and has a little patio on the south side where you can sit outside and enjoy your treat.

Good but absurdly expensive. We paid almost 18 dollars for three regular sized frozen yogurts.
