Ummm...this is a bit of an odd review, I will admit it upfront. We had never had MSP up until last night. They don't deliver to our residence, apparently we are just a tad of the grid for their delivery service. I had read the reviews and was excited to finally try their pizza. My husband and I walked in and proceeded to look at the board and tried to figure out what we want. The guy waiting for us to make up our mind was nice enough, but I did get the sense he was wanting us to hurry up and order. I don't know what the rush was considering there were no other customers waiting behind us. Plus, I'd like to reiterate, it was our first time going there, so we were not familiar with the menu at all, unlike their regular customers probably. We decided to go and get my car washed during the 10 mins wait time, I said we would be right back. As I left to go back to my car, I had a very odd feeling. Don't know what it was, but it was the same feeling you get when you think someone is looking at you weird for seemingly no reason. I checked the mirror, no, there was nothing strange on my face or hanging from my nose.... [my eyes were rather puffy, but that was because my eyes did not react well to some new contact solution I had tried earlier] ---maybe I looked like I had just toked up?? Don't know. Either way, I had a strange feeling. So, we go and come back, I walk in and this time all of the staff and probably the owner were standing there, as if they were waiting to see what this customer looked like. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy at the cash register said something disparaging about me (or us) to everyone and then they all gathered to the front to see the freak show that came in. Anyway, I quietly picked up my order, smiled and got the EFF out of there. In the car I told my husband, "yeah, that was weird". He said it's probably because i was wearing a cap, but I'm sorry where is it written that wearing a hat (a knit Levi's black and grey cap) equates to looking like a weirdo or freak?? Maybe that was it. Hell, I'll never know. I really don't think I looked like a dangerous person though. As for the food (the point of this story) it was really good. We both enjoyed our pizza and the half chicken we got. No complaints about the food at all. Seriously, it was very good. But I don't think I'll be going back. I really feel like I was treated poorly, when I didn't do anything weird at all. In fact, I even gave a tip despite the fact that I was picking it up myself. Thanks for showing your appreciation MSP by making me feel like I'm a leper. Oh well. That was unfortunate. Moving along.... Guess I'll find another place.

Local business that appreciates its customers. Very obvious to me that they care about what they do and the product they serve. Walk in and smell the pizza baking in the oven - tell me you aren't hooked! The specials are affordable - 6 bucks for a plenty big medium pizza. This smokes Little Caesars any day (and though it isn't "hot and ready," it takes 5 minutes to order and walk out with a freshly made pizza). I'm a fan!

I love this place. Really good pizza for a relatively inexpensive price. We get the Ham, Mushroom, and Onion on a regular basis and you should too! The wings are pretty good as well, but they are a little sticky.. Get some pizza!

We recently moved to the area so naturally we are giving many local restaurants a try. We have ordered on 3 different occasions and glad to say the pizza has been consistent in flavor. One down fall is they use canned mushrooms. I wish they would switch over to fresh! Great service and great pizza keeps us coming back for more!

Excellent pizza place! Most pizza places salads are sad and hardly last the ride home. Not Main Street though, crisp and fresh every single time. Employees are always nice and pleasant. Keep up the good work guys, you have a permanent customer right here.

Solid. Tried the deep dish and the round whole wheat crust pizza the other day. The deep dish was really good and the whole wheat pizza (surprisingly) did not leave me feeling like I was missing anything. Delivery was fast and I'll definitely be ordering from them again. Two negatives: the buffalo wings were fatty and greasy, but pretty similar to most other pizzerias' wings. Also, they dice their banana peppers which I thought was a little weird. Overall...not a whole lot to complain about. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking for good pizza and want to support the local guy.

Great local pizza place with very reasonable prices. Deep dish and round pizza are both very good. Bread stocks are OK, wish they had a little more garlic on them. Salads are pretty blah but ribs are great.

The square deep dish is where it's at. Chewy crust, loads of thick sauce and plenty of toppings. As others mention the salad isn't anything special, and neither are the breadsticks nor the round pizza. Prepared fast, they're a 30 second walk away from my front door but we'd drive much further if we needed to. There are currently 7 other pizza places within a mile but this is the best.

For the price, you aren't going to find a better pizza. Even if they charged double it would be a great deal. A large pep is $6. It's freshly made not like other pizzerias that store them. Round or thick crust both equally good. Antipasta salad is very good.

OK..I know a few of my last reviews are pizza related but I only eat pizza about once a month. That being said even though I live in Plymouth I never tried Main Street..dont know why. My friends have told me they had good pizza so Last Sunday I was driving down Main Street and saw it..was thinking about dinner and pulled in. Ordered a large with 4 items for around $10.00 not a bad price. It was pretty dam good.. Then we were trying to figure out if it was because we were both so hungry?..or was the pizza that good? I am thinking a little of both but the flavor was really good and they did not skimp on the toppings. Yes..I shall return! Udate, picked up a large square and will have to admit if I did not know any better I would have thought it was a Buddies Pizza..it was that good! And about 40% cheaper than Buddies.

Grabbed a few wheels since my initial visit. Great place, great pizza....but now I am feeling 4 stars, not as consistent as I would like but really great nonetheless.

Great pizza ... normally get the traditional round and it's great. Tried the square for the first time and that's my new favorite!!!!! You can't go wrong excellent pizza at a great price.

Really, really good pizza at a great price. I'm partial to the round with ham, mushrooms and onions. Main Street Pizza is a staple in our house. One of us picks up a pizza from here on the way home from work about once a month, and it is consistently good. There is no dining in here. Main Street is strictly pick up or delivery. You can avoid the parking and congestion of down town Plymouth and still get a great pizza - our three topping medium round runs about ten dollars for pick up. You can't beat it for convenience, taste and value.

Main Street Pizza is great. The quality of the pies is well above average; all of the ingredients are fresh and plentiful. The square deep dish pizza is reminiscent of Buddy's with crispy crusts and sauce on top. People go nuts for it. I, however, favor the rounds. Better than any pizza place around. The carry out special is super cheap and there is no charge for delivery! And the delivery usually shows up within 15-20 minutes. If you're going to get takeout or delivery pizza in Plymouth, this is the place to get it from.

Always good food, fast and free delivery and great specials. The sauce they use sets them apart from the chains! This is by far my favorite pizza place in the area.

My very favorite pizza delivery spot in town - and there are plenty to choose from! The pizza is always tasty, consistent, and delivered in less than 30 minutes. The delivery time is something considering most of the other pizza delivery spots end up making you wait 45 minutes to hours, and when the pizza arrives it's cold. Not at Main Street. Always hot, always full of great ingredients, and delivered before I can get the TV trays out and The Bachelor cued up on the DVR (ok, that's a bad night, but you get the point). Their cheese breadsticks are pretty darn good and I personally love the homemade Italian dressing that comes with the antipasto salad - yum. Oh, and last, but certainly not least - the prices are great!! Look for coupons in the mail, but even without the coupons, this is some of the more affordable pizza in town - especially at the quality they deliver.

Very good deep dish square pizzas with crispy edges, not oversauced but a nice amount of cheese (we order extra cheese and mean it) which I like. Similar to Buddy's in my opinion. I always opt for the deep dish. Always solid, I have never gotten a bad pie. My husband declares it not bad....for Michigan... but he is a total pizza snob. They also have pretty good ribs for a pizza joint, tender with a nice sauce. Salads are meh as are the subs, I'd skip them. The cheese bread is good though. Service is hit or miss, typical of a carryout pizza joint. They run coupons in Valpak. Definitely where you want to order from if you are in Plymouth though.

Their square pizza is the best around. Great price too.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had, they know what they're doing. On par with other SE Michigan leaders like Buddy's or Jet's for a fraction of the price.

It's sooooo good! The best pizza in Michigan! I love their square pizza with olives, green peppers and onions. Not too much cheese or tomato sauce. The dough tastes really good and the corners are crispy and perfect. (Getting a square pizza means you will have a corner! haha) The salads are not too great though, but who cares cause the pizza is tasty! I think I get pizza here every week. You have to try it. Oh yea, they only take cash or check.

They have the "BEST" ribs in town. Tender, tangy, meaty. Their pizza is very good, great for a crowd, as you can get 4 large pizzas for around $20. Hold onto your flyers and after collecting 10 of them you get a free large pizza. Quick delivery, too.

We ordered a round pizza, we've had worse and we've had better. The other reviews seem a bit too jazzed up about their experience.

I have decided that this is my favorite pizza place in SE Michigan. While moving into my new place in Plymouth my SO and I decided we needed sustenance. I cruised the reviews on yelp for pizza joints and ordered the large deep dish with onions, tomato, and mushrooms and some garlic bread. We paid by check because this place does not take plastic. The garlic bread was okay, but nothing to write home about. The pizza on the other hand was excellent. The crust on the pizza is flavorful yet chewy and they choose to place dollops of their delicious sauce on TOP of the cheese. I really like this approach. We've ordered from there since and it was just as good the second time. My one beef: they use canned mushrooms and not fresh ones. Update: Stick with the deep dish. My SO forgot to order deep dish and the regular is the mediocre community college attending cousin of the ivy league scholar of pizzas...aka the Main Street Pizza Deep Dish.

The deep dish pizza is a revelation. A delicious, crispy-crusted revelation in which we indulge just about weekly. The sauce is excellent and they put on just the right amount - on top of the cheese. The cheese bread is divine as well. My only complaint is the substandard salads. Iceberg lettuce and nothing to write home about. Oh, and I wish they took credit cards.

I'm not a fan of their pizza, whatsoever. Their pizza sauce tastes like tomato paste. However, their cheese bread and ribs are delicious!!

My favorite pizza place in the US. The salad's are so-so, but its called Main Street Pizza, not Main Street Salad's so get over it. My family has been ordering from here for over 15 years.

I need to find out how they make their deep dish, square pizza. It's like crack to me. I can't get enough of it. If I could find a way to get it shipped weekly to me here in CA., I would. Damn good pizza. The sauce is sort of sweet and cheese is unbelievably good. What kind of cheese is that anyway. I need to find out! Oh and the crust is perfect in every way as well. Good god!!!

I drove the 10 minutes from Westland to Plymouth to try a few pies from this pizzeria. I'm a deep-dish connoisseur and my favorite place for a pizza is Jets. Well I'm always looking for an alternative so after reading a few reviews here I decided to make the trip and give this place a whirl. All in all I did enjoy the pizzas but I'm sorry to say Jets still sits atop of the pyramid in my Pizza-Loving mind.

Alright 4.5 stars, but I'll round up-- so Main Street Pizza may or may not be my favorite pizza place in town. Seriously -- it knocks the socks off of any of the chain places in the area. I might even go so far as to compare this place to Buddy's...but at half the price, who would choose Buddy's? Definitely opt for the square. The wings and cheese bread are phenomenal. Ribs...meh..skip those. But this is great pizza and you're supporting a local independent business at a really cheap price. I can't really ask for much more.

I had pizza from here with a friend and the crispy deep dish was yum yum. If you bring them 10 menus you get a free pizza, and it helps to flirt.
