Everything you expect in a Coney Island, this place delivers. Fresh, fast and friendly service. The waitresses are always smiling and seem to know a lot of their customers on a first name basis. My boyfriend and I usually stop in for breakfast so I don't have much advice on the lunch or dinner menu but if it tastes as great as their omelets then you'll be pleased. I have had a bowl of the chili and its coney style of course, my favorite! Is it the Four Seasons? No. It's a small town diner that does a great job at being exactly that.
Stopped in for a late breakfast. The "Farmer's Omelette" was very good but the potatoes that came with it (American Fries) were so-so. Some slices had a raw crunch and they weren't browned very well. The downside was the waitress (I heard someone call her, "Mel"). She seemed to be distracted very easily and took an extremely long time to take the order and then had to go "...wrap some silverware..." which took even longer because she engaged in a conversation with another employee at the counter. A side order was forgotten until I reminded her....twice...and then she started a conversation with someone else near the cash register before she delivered it. "More walkin' and less talkin' Mel..............."
Clean, great service, good food, and inexpensive! I love a good coney place and this beats all around. Take the kids and enjoy a good home cooked meal at a family price. Wait staff is friendly and fast. Coffee cup is never empty... even when it's busy. Hamburg Coney treats you like you are the most important person in the place. Will continue to come here. My husband even orders take out when we can't go out!

Best thin crust!!!! And the jalapeño poppers aren't your typical popper!!!! Must try this pizzeria!!!!!
Town Square is right in downtown Pinckney, which as a resident of the village you know you don't have many choices if you do not want to drive very far for lunch or dinner. I took the suggestion from another reviewer to try the subs. They were pretty good, priced well for their size. They aren't anything to rave about, however, pretty bland overall and basic. You can find more exciting subs at a place like Dibella's or Jersey Mike's. The pizza we had there was pretty meh. I don't like fast food pizza joints - like Domino's or Jet's - and I'd say Town Square's pizza is just a step above one of these places. Better than Little Caesar's but not anything to write home about. The workers there tend to be high school students and are staffed to the bare minimum to make the place run. They have one delivery driver, which means you can wait a really long time to have your pizza delivered if they are already out. There has been a few times we've called and no one has answered during their posted business hours. Often enough that we inquired if it had/or was going to close down. Still open that I've seen driving by, but we've been disappointed enough by this place that we aren't bothering with ordering from there anymore.
A delicious pizza place that delivers and is locally owned?! Thank the heavens! This place is everything I expect and want from a small town pizza joint. Hand tossed pizza, fresh toppings, and the best part...great sauce! Nothing ruins a pie faster than terrible tomato sauce and this place gets it right. Cooked just right with a generous topping to crust ratio. I tried their wings too and was quite pleased, they aren't saucy but crispy instead. I love crispy wings. This will be our new pizza delivery spot for certain! Keep up the good work Towne Square :)

Pulled pork sandwich was so good. If only I still lived in Michigan. Will be coming back for sure.
Quaint, nice atmosphere. Pulled Pork, corn bread, cole slaw and blue berry baked beans were all awesome!
The BBQ is awesome. Doesn't matter if you like beef, chicken, or pork - it's all excellent. The brisket is cooked to perfection, with a thick and flavorful smoke ring. Potatoe salad is the perfect side to barbecue IMHO, and their potatoe salad tastes exactly like my grandma's potatoe salad. Their sauce is also awesome. Which is reflective of the care and thought that goes into the quality of the food they serve.

Reviews:
After trying to go to Mimi's Diner for a Saturday morning breakfast and finding it too busy with the only table available right by the door, we discovered this very unique breakfast/lunch spot and were pleasantly surprised. As another reviewer commented, it is very much like stepping back into time, from the bell on the door, to the old milkshake fountains, green tile counters with round 1950s stools, and the way in which you can watch the cook (family of Aunt Betty) make your breakfast on the grill. Service was very good, black coffee nice and strong, and they made sure to get my sunnyside up eggs right without being runny. Really liked the small town, friendly and homey feel to the place.
I would almost move back to small-town Michigan just so I could have Aunt Betty's on a weekly (okay, daily) basis. I found Aunt Betty's thanks to Yelp on a recent annual trip to Hell, MI when I had a rare hankering for a really good breakfast, and I could name about 1,000 ways in which this restaurant did not disappoint. First of all, I'm totally in love with the interior. It's old. It's run and staffed by fiery older women. The seafoam green paint on the walls is peeling. The tin tiles on the ceiling are rusting. You have to walk through the kitchen AND the stock room to get to the tiny bath room. I'm pretty sure the cook was using a paint scraper to flip eggs. I. Love. It. Here. This is what every greasy spoon in the world should aspire to be! I decide without hesitation that I am ordering the meat-lovers omelette, and once it arrives, the meat-lovers omelette does not disappoint. Friends and neighbors, without hesitation I can tell you that I ate the best omelette of my life at Aunt Betty's Restaurant. Crispy bacon, fresh ham, large chunks of sausage, an abundance of melty American cheese... I'm now thinking about driving four hours tomorrow morning just to have this thing in my life again! And let's not forget the service, which was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly, made jokes, took interest in my tattoos AND remembered me when I came back with a large group of friends the next weekend (I told her I'd be back)! And the price is excellent considering the amount of food, quality of ingredients, and service! If you're in the area, even within an hour, give this place a shot for breakfast. You absolutely won't regret it.
For those of you who like to travel back to a simpler time, especially when you didn't have to worry about counting calories in your diet; henceforth, Aunt Betty's Restaurant is an All-American timewarp awaiting your arrival. The decor in this place is right out of the 1950s, and you expect to see the cast from the 1970s TV show "Happy Days" walk-in at any moment. This place is pure Americana at its best. I've eaten breakfast and lunch at Aunt Betty's dozens of times since the early 1970s. They serve up classic American fare that takes your back to the good old days. The quality has always been consistent, and the food is delicious. Likewise, the portions are very generous, and you don't have to use your Smartphone to link into the Hubble Telescope to find them on the plate. That being said, the prices won't break your budget, and require you take out a second mortgage on your home to pay for your meal. So if you're a baby boomer looking to recapture part of your youth, or just looking to travel back in time and enjoy some great food, then Aunt Betty's is the place for you.

Reviews:
My guy and I recently moved to the area and chose to check out La Vita Bistro for Saturday night date night. We had a pleasant experience here and I do recommend it. Here is my breakdown on this place: Decor/Environment- Quaint is the first word that comes to mind. This place has a refreshing charm to it. It is not a large place and its sort of split into two separate rooms. One side has a handful of booths and tables as well as a small bar. The second half has more tables and a small deli (I believe it does most of its business in the warmer months). They almost feel like two different restaurants as the first portion seems a bit bland and typical of an italian place. The second side however, is very different with walls of what looks like reclaimed wood and a small assortment of old farm tools hung about. Not your typical italian restaurant decor....I like that, a lot. I wish the whole place followed suit! Service- The service was pleasing. When we first arrived we were seated in the middle of the dining room and we expressed that we preferred a booth. The hostess informed us that none were available so we begrudgingly took our seats. Moments later a woman, who I think may have been the manager, asked us if we would like to move somewhere more comfortable. We obliged and she ushered us to the far side of the restaurant. It was not a booth but was far cozier than our original spot. It was nice to feel that our level of comfort was a priority there. Once seated, our waitress arrived and was pleasant, knowledgable and swift. Everything was done in a timely manner. Food- We ordered wine and the steak bites appetizer to begin. We were also brought fresh warm rolls and olive oil. The rolls were delicious and the oil and herbs were top notch! The appetizer was quite tasty as well. I can't quite place what was in the sauce that accompanied the meat but it was so good, we found ourselves sopping it up with our rolls! I ordered the osobucco and my date had the veal Marsala. He enjoyed his and I admit a stole a few bites. The biggest reason this review doesn't have a fifth star is due to me entree. While it wasn't bad, there was something off with the flavor. Possibly overseasoned with cinnamon. It definitely needs some adjustments. The meat was tender, but the risotto was not cooked quite right. The texture was a bit too coarse. My date finished with a hot cup of fresh coffee and told me it was fantastic. Price- I have no complaints on our bill. Everything was within reason and worth the money spent, Overall, I am satisified with La Vita Bistro and will be returning. Although I wasn't compete satisfied with my main dish, I do plan on trying other items on the menu, plus, I can't wait for the weather to warm up since they have a nice outdoor patio to take advantage of!
Excellent food very friendly. Large portions. Great menu The onion leek soup was amazing and the bread sticks are delicious
Love this place! What a gem. Lemon Veal was perfect. Eggplant loved by the Mrs. And the Calamari app was insane. Must order!

The food is good and it's a great place to get lunch with friends. My only issue, and I know it's nit picking, but the servers seem angry or irritated with everything you say and give off an attitude. If I ask for something with no tomato I get an exasperated sigh like it's such a giant hassle. I've also had a few experiences where they vacuum under my chair while I'm sitting in it. It's a nice price, nice food, and a central location for people from Pinckney and Brighton to meet in the middle, but the servers are not warm or welcoming.
The food was great ! I ordered the sand dollar pancakes ( they were a little bigger than expected ) but they were delicious. The iced tea was also very good ;)
Walked out the other day due to no service, waiters were soo busy bickering and complaining. Food quality has gone downhill, place is dirty and management is not effective!

Don't really have anything bad to say... I ordered pizza my first night in town when we had no dishes and no food in the fridge. The delivery was super fast, but they didn't put any silverware in the order even though we had ordered salad with our pizza. My only disappointment was the selection of premade pizzas. They have a "garden" pie, but it really didn't have too many vegetables on it, I would have liked a more veggie option better. You can however build your own with all the toppings so I guess I could have done that, but I really like when someone else thinks of my pizza for me...I mean it's the ultimate convenience food right?
Ordered pizza by phone and the young lady who answered was very helpfull with specials and service when picking up the pizza was friendly, the best part was the good tasting pizza. Thanks
When I look at Yelp ratings in my area everything is 5 Star! Where do I live?! Trust me not everyplace can be the best in all areas people!!! Marcos is a decent delivery place, nothing special, the only noteworthy thing is the crust options.

It's okay. Just okay. It used to be great. But there's way better food in the area. This week I had salmon special with pasta. It was good salmon with frozen veggies all over it. The pizza & breadsticks are good. If you go stick to bar food.
Holy hugeness! This was my first visit after moving away nine years ago. It's so big now. Service was fast and friendly and the food was great. Our group finished off a large pepperoni pizza and ordered a bbq chicken pizza and that quickly disappeared. It was a Thursday night and the place was packed as it is every night. Zukey Lake Tavern is a local landmark. Everybody knows where it is and everybody loves it.
Always great food and service. We frequent this place very often. Always great food and service. We frequent this place very often.

I called in a carry out. When I arrived for pick up the diner was semi busy but I received a warm sincere greeting. My food was ready a head of time so I paid and left. The carry out was correct and had plastic ware included. The food was tasty. Farmland omelette was good, biscuits and gravy was great. My wife ordered cinnamon raisin French toast and was disappointed she expected more cinnamon flavor and it to taste sweeter. Overall nice diner full of locals including local police, bikers, hunters and families. Very nice small town feel.
Had a wonderful breakfast here on a crisp Saturday morning. I got the farmers skillet and my guest the veggie omelet both were delectable. The coffee was a plenty and the waitress very friendly. They also have the coffee news to keep you entertained whilst you wait, not that it was very long!
The Pinckney Diner is quintessentially Pinckney. While dining on a recent sunny Sunday morning, our group enjoyed most of the diner breakfast staples - pancakes, biscuits and gravy, French toast, hash browns, eggs, etc. - all quite satisfying, but nothing particularly remarkable. In particular, the pancakes, though golden brown and fluffy in appearance, were slightly dry and lacking in flavor. The interior was clean and bright with a pleasant, family-friendly ambience, and the service was prompt, if not particularly personable.
