Here's my simple rating system for Yelp: 5 = My expectations were surpassed beyond my wildest dreams 3 = My expectations were met 1 = Why is this place still in business? It was like, 4pm on a Sunday, I was driving through Perry, and I was sort of hungry for a pre-dinner snack. (C'mon, you know the feeling.) Anyway, I'm driving and I see the Detroit Lions themed sign and was like, "pizza sounds awesome." (To be honest, pizza always sounds awesome.) This is one of those small, independent pizza joints that you see in small towns. It's take-out only, and the prices are reasonable. The staff was cool and friendly. I ordered a medium pepperoni and it was ready in about 12 minutes. The crust was chewy and delicious. The sauce didn't taste like it came out of a can, and they didn't go overboard on the cheese. This place serves great pizza that puts the regular pizza chains to shame. The only drawback: this place doesn't have room for a bar.
