One star only because my companions thought their food (calzone and chicken fingers) was OK. One of the worst meals I've had in my recollection. After ordering a chicken Caesar salad the server off-handedly informed me that they didn't have romaine lettuce, was that OK? I thought about it and decided to accept the salad with iceberg lettuce because how bad could it be? (Never mind that it isn't a Caesar salad without romaine.) When my salad arrived I was appalled. The iceberg lettuce was less than fresh and practically shredded. The chicken was weird-looking but plentiful and it tasted OK. Surprise, there were no croutons, which, along with romaine lettuce, was listed as an ingredient on the menu. Obviously this salad should not have been on the menu. There was no apology, either for the lettuce or the absence of croutons. They didn't ask how my food was. I should've sent it back but frankly, there was nothing else on the menu that i wanted to eat.

I am a Chicago boy who protects the standard of quality pizza as my sworn duty. In Chicago this place would be a 3-3.5. Considering the competition, Dockside is an easy 4-4.5. I'm sticking with this group as my choice for pizza when in the area.

We stopped in here for breakfast. The food was fair and the service was good, however the bathroom was extremely filthy! It really turned me off amd made me never want to return.

friendly service and delicious breadsticks with cheese and pizzas Broken ac but out door deck had nice breeze. Wish they could do something about the railing blocking a wonderful lake view. And a lil touch of love around the place wouldn't hurt...along with somkind of music! They were out of sliced pizza...at a pizzeria?!?!...but was ok cuz left overs of a whole pizza made a nice snack later on! Not bad, but def great food!

Had breakfast here and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was out quickly, too! Would recommend the Dockside Omelet with extra crispy hash browns (inside).

Stopped here with a big group, adults, teens, & a toddler. Sat outside on the shaded patio, nothing fancy, but could watch the action and hear the music from the bar across the street, kind of felt sorry for them sitting in the hot sun. Took a while for our pizza to come out as there were only two of them, but so worth the wait! New York style pizza, the crust crispy & perfect. So good, we were in pizza heaven! Be patient, it's worth the wait.

Horrible service and marginal food. None of the tables were clean, there were only two other tables occupied and it was about impossible to get a drink, a wiped table, a menu or food that was on the menu. Would not go there again with all of the other choices available in town.

Made a side trip to Pentwater after a long day at the beach. Dockside pizzeria is dockside, but not a fancy kind of place. Very simple & down home with clean, comfortable surroundings. We sat in an indoor both to accommodate a sleeping toddler -it's that kind of comfortable - not rushed or noisy or even terribly crowded on a Saturday night. We had a 12 inch hand tossed pizza with mushrooms, onions & Italian sausage. The veggies were fresh & even a little crunchy. The sausage could have had a little more kick to contrast with the sauce which was just a touch sweet & very delicious. The hand tossed crust was crisp & crunchy & maybe the best pizza crust we've ever had! The service is friendly & personal. You can tell they really care about their customers. Even though the place was not crowded, there was a steady stream of people getting carry out pizzas - maybe to eat at the beach at sunset.

Service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. Pizza was undercooked (very doughy). Waffles were not good. How do you mess up waffles?

Great breakfasts. Right beside the marina. Loved the philly sub. Real friendly staff and owners. What is it to love.

This cute little Pentwater restraunt sits right on the water with both indoor and outdoor sitting- great for a beautiful day! The menu features sub's, salads, burgers, sandwiches and pizza among others. The prices were reasonable and expected for a restaurant on the water in Pentwater. My bacon cheeseburger with fried was $9 and delicious.. Highly recommended!
