A tiny shack behind the gas station . It's easy to miss . The pizza was handmade which you would think would be good , but it ended up greasy and not so good . Very nice people though :)

The Paradise Pizza Factory is one of only maybe 3 places to get dinner within 20 miles of the Magnuson Lakefront Paradise Hotel. The Pizza Factory delivers to the hotel if need be and is located across the street from the hotel in a small cottage behind the parking lot for a gas/station parts store. Their sign is small and faded so it's very easy to miss. Tonight we ordered a large one topping pizza for $13.95. It was good. Not amazing. Not terrible. Good. We previously ordered from here in 2010 on a recommendation from the Magnuson hotel so we knew we could depend on this place for dinner again. They do also have specialty pizzas for $16.95 like Hawaiian, meat lovers etc. A couple of tips: CASH ONLY at this place. Also they typically open at 5pm. It's usually a very nice woman and one other person churning out orders so order your pizza before 6pm or expect to wait up to an hour ESPECIALLY if the hotels are full!

Do you ever have that problem? You are out in the middle of nowhere, and crave something like no other? Yeah. That was us. Pizzamonster stepdaughter and myself on a trip to the UP. I swear that I've only seen two pizza places during our two week trip, and Paradise Pizza was one of them. It made me feel like I was ordering something off-the-chain exotic, but it's only pizza. And it never tasted so good. In retrospect (more like come second slice), we found the pizza to be pretty average. You know how they say you can be so hungry you will eat the ____ out of a rhinosaurus? It was one of them situations. We ordered two pies, Hawaiian for us and onion-jalapeno for the mister. We drove alllll the way back to where we were staying (even got lost. Middle of nowhere, remember) and the pizzas were still warm, steamy and overall good. The service here is so friendly, I wanted to take the time to point that out. We had small talk with the staff all through our pizza being made, and felt like we walked into a place where we had been regulars for years. Considering it is your best bet (*only bet*) for pizza when you're up here, it's probably gonna taste really good. Put this pizzeria in a more densely populated area, and I don't think it would stand a chance.

A few years ago, we ordered a pizza from here while staying at the hotel previous known as Best Western Paradise. It was recommended by the front desk. We called and ordered a pizza, picked it up... and my mother proclaimed it the best pizza she had ever eaten in the history of man kind. Yeah, it was pretty decent UP style pizza. Too bad they don't deliver to Novi.

Absolutely loved the pizza. It is freshly made, and taste amazing. The only problem is how long it takes, but if you want good pizza, it is worth the wait!
