We 'found' this place while visiting Oxford, and so glad we did. They are very friendly and cozy -- the food is 'real' and delicious. There is limited seating and they could use some noise dampers because when it's full of people it's very loud and hard to have a conversation unless you want to talk louder than everyone else. I'm 'out of the wine loop' so still want White Zin, - but they offered a bubbling pink Muscato that is delicious. AND NO BLARING TV - A plus for us!

Decent food, small portions. Kinda on the pricy side but what I really didn't like was some of the waitresses attitudes. Very teenager.

I remember walking into this place when I was knee high to a grasshopper and Victoria would make me a bagel with melted cheese. Back then, Victoria's was (what I remember) a deli, with no cheesy melted bagels on the menu - but she cared, and the food was good! I would say its still good; but I cant, because its really good! I'm not even a huge fan of french cuisine (refer to bagel comment), but I love just about everything that I've had so far here. Even over all the years; going to Victoria's has never let me down. A wonderful cook, caring lady, and incredible entrepreneur. Victoria's is a must try.

My wife and I have not been here in years and we totally regret that... The food was phenomenal. We sat at the bar since the place was packed - it's very small so make reservations or be prepared to wait. It was OK as we were taken care of by James - great guy that really knows his stuff. The menu changes often based on what's available. There are staple items but it's always fun to try the specials. Ahi taco and wild mushroom/steak crepe (both were sooooo good) appetizer later and we were ready for dinner. :) I had the pan seared skate (like a sting ray) and my wife had the NY Strip. Both were fabulous - prepared perfectly. Desserts - all made from scratch. We had key lime pie and chocolate/peanut butter tart - again fabulous. If I could, I would give Victoria's a 6. Definitely recommend. Like I said, though, make a reservation if on the weekend as its a very small place.

This cafe offered a great location in a cute part of town. Cozy interior and cute decoration. The service was outstanding and food was delicious. My family and I went (large party of 19) for brunch and everything was perfect! The quiche is perfection! Also everyone who ordered the French toast didn't leave any left over. It was sweet and delicious. The red skins (aka potatoes) also quite tasty. On Wednesday 10am - 11am was "power hour" with mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks priced special at $3. I would highly recommend this place. The dinner menu looked amazing as well.

This place is small, so make a reservation because it fills right up ! The atmosphere and decor are really cute and nice and even though it's always packed, you can converse easily without having to raise your voice. The whitefish, vegetables and the salads are really good but the crepes are meh, since the fillings are so over salted. The biggest complaint I have is that if you look at the menu, a lot of what they serve is soft and kind of mushy. They have quiche, crepes, soft tacos, fish, soup, mac and cheese, etc. That being said, the service is excellent and the wine list is big, so if you're in the mood for soft food and you're in Oxford, this place can't be beat!

My husband and I tried Victorias for the first time a few weeks ago. It's defiantly small and fills up quickly. The waitress was helpful on the wine selection, but that was about it. My husband ordered the "large scallops" with minimal rice and extra vegetables because he's diabetic. The scallops were anything but large and was served on a large bed of rice with minimal veggies. I had the tuna which was tasty and as described. Both plates were specials so no soup/salad were offered - just bread. Another issue if you're diabetic. Large price, small food portions and my husband leaving hungry, I doubt we will return.

I love to take a day off during the week and come here with my wife. The menu constantly changes while retaining some standard dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant bistro style with the brunch crowd composed mainly of women. I particularly like the sampler with a savory crepe (beef or chicken, both are wonderful...my wife likes the seafood), a slice of quiche, and salad. I generally accompany this with a nice dry Riesling and the bread pudding. My wife is more adventurous and often tries the specials. We have always enjoyed our experiences there and look forward to going again.

Service was good. They answered every question, and didn't seem to snub me off. The food is amazeballs. Try the bread pudding. Or the crepes. They also have amazing salads! They always have something going on. It's a nice place. :)

If you love pretentious food served by snarky waitresses, this place is for you! On my last visit, I ordered salmon, asked for it to be fully cooked, but it was raw, I mean raw! It was like the cook laid it down on the grill for twenty seconds then served it. When we walked in through the rear entrance we could sense some kind of friction between the owner and the cook. Maybe the cook was extracting his revenge on the owner to me. I don't know, I just know the experience was not worth the trouble or the expense. Because of the apparent issue with the kitchen staff, I didn't want to bring the issue about the raw salmon up to the server. My wife insisted that we should complain, so we did, the server was irritated with our dissatisfaction and the owner even more so. The owner provided the salmon dinner at no charge, but I was still hungry, so I took the raw salmon home and finished cooking it there. My advice is to skip this place, because it is my opinion that the owner doesn't have a clue about how to run a restaurant or how to control her employees. By the way, watch out for apparent friends of the owner who will harass you by sending you insulting messages through yelp if you do not have the same opinion as they do about Victoria's.

I visited Victorias from out of town on two separate trips to see family in the past six months. Its a downtown Oxford high character, high quality establishment. Small and quaint, with a friendly staff, cozy ambiance, and a nice wine selection. The restaurant has a fantastic plank whitefish as its signature dish that will not disappoint anyone that likes seafood. I cannot wait to go back.

A quaint bistro that has unique specials & consistently great service. The quality of the food is always fresh and is wonderfully prepared. The crêpes, cedar-planked whitefish, and the bistro style steak are some of my favorite entrées. All dishes are offered at a great price.

I've lived in the LO area for almost 3 years now, and I have no idea why it took me so long to try Victoria's. If I would have taken the time to look at the menu, it's exactly the type of place that I love! It's a small place, so you'll want reservations on a weekend, but the quaint size I think contributes to the consistent quality of the food. Everything was great, from the bread we started with, to my wife's wedge salad, to the mac and cheese and fish tacos. Also, the prices were great--just over $40 for dinner, apps, and drinks!

One of the best restaurants Oxford has to offer. They actually cook real food! And they do it well. Vicky knows what she's doing and puts out a quality product. I've always gotten good service and have enjoyed almost everything I've had. The only reason they fall short of 5 stars for me is... well, I'm sort of a big eater. That doesn't translate well into French Cuisine. So I can eat an appetizer and an entree and still be hungry. It taste great... but like most French Cuisine, it's rich and in smaller sized portions. But they rock. Had fun at the cooking class I went to as well!

Went and ate at Victoria's Delights today in Oxford, MI. All I can say is FINALLY I have found what I have been looking for without having to drive far away. French Bistro atmosphere, when you walk in its small, cozy and inviting. Our server Jake was attentive. My drink never went empty and my dirty plates were cleaned off quickly (huge pet peeve of mine.) The food ohmygod the food. I wanted to try everything but my stomach can only go so far. Lets just say, they have amazing Ahi Tuna Tacos with a Wasabi slaw (which I wished was a bit more on the wasabi side, but nonetheless fantastic). I started with the Manhattan Clam Chowder, it was pretty good, not one of my favorite soups, but it made me wanting more. They have a very diverse menu, with beautiful food presentations. They offer brunch as well. I highly recommend visiting Victoria's Delights when you are in town, it's even worth driving an hour away for. I would recommend reservations due to it's size and at 1pm on a Sat. it was quite busy

YUM!! Hubby and I were finally able to head to Victoria's for kid-free dining a few weeks ago and it was everything we hoped it would be! We had been told about the restaurant by a waitress at a chain restaurant who said she used to work at Victoria's. Since we usually have the kids in tow, it took us a few months to get the few miles north of home to Oxford. We decided to go ahead and sit at one of the high-top tables by the front window so we could watch bustling downtown Oxford on the busy Thursday night we were dining (yes, I'm kidding). The restaurant is small, but they definitely conquer the cozy vibe instead of crowded. While I wanted to try wine since it looked like that kind of place, I decided it was my night out and I went with my regular Southern Comfort and Coke - life is good :) Dinner was delicious. I almost always get seafood when eating out, and I was not at all disappointed with the white fish at Victoria's. I think hubby had a steak, but I was too busy enjoying my entree to notice much. Afterward I had the creme brulee and hubby had the key lime pie. Both were super yummy. I was very glad we didn't try to share a dessert. Even after finishing all of my fish and potatoes, I was able to relish every bit of my dessert as well. I look forward to going back when we have more kid-free time in the future. I noticed they offer several 'cooking experience' sort of classes with a different theme each month. For around $30, they definitely sounded like something I'd like to check out if I had more time on my own. We'll see if they're still doing something similar once I'm available ;)

My new favorite restaurant! Very small, but surprisingly comfortable. We had reservations and they sat sat us exactly on time. The waitress was impressively knowledgable and the food was all delicious. Started with crab cakes appetizer then had the crepe sampler (seafood was my favorite) and the pork tenderloin special, all so good! Looking forward to going back several times to sample the entire menu!

Victoria's is always on our short list when we want to stay local. The white fish is very good and the steak is always cooked right. When my wife's salmon was not fully cooked during one visit, the waitress noticed and took it back before we even said anything. The customer service is excellent as well, definitely check it out.

Have enjoyed every meal at the restaurant - great food, comfortable atmosphere and good prices. Had an incredibly positive experience with their catering - it really helped to make our party! Everyone was on time and professional. The bartender went out of her way to help guests and worked to clean and set up the party - way above and beyond! To top it off, the food was fantastic! We would recommend and plan to use their catering in the future.

I am really surprised at the reviews but it may have been a bad day when we went. Had the Chicken Crepes and it was so salty, I couldn't finish it. One of my friends got the triple crepes and she said the seafood one was horrible and the other two were so salty, she left most of them on her plate. The server did offer to get us something else but, If the Chef is heavy handed with salt.....what would be any different with something else. I usually give a place a second chance but hard to go back here. Menu is very limited and overpriced.

Simply the best! I have been there several times and each time has been excellent. I have really enjoyed the maple bread dessert, turkey panini, chicken panini, and salmon. The atmosphere is cozy and delightful.

Spot on service that has never failed to impress. Food is always tasty, well prepared and presented so nicely. Their eggs Benedict are superior, there is no match in Michigan - paper thin prosciutto instead of Canadian bacon makes it melt in your mouth. I have hesitated writing a review for here because frankly, I just don't want it to get too popular! But then, I also don't want to lose this superior establishment. The menu is creative and a step beyond ordinary. Victoria's doesn't strive to be a fancy-shmancy type of place. Just truly well prepared food in a nice atmosphere where you can relax and have a good conversation with your dining partner. This really isn't the place for kids, which suits me just fine because sometimes it's nice to go to a place without crayons and Goldfish crackers. It is a small place, so tables fill up quickly, especially on the weekends. Well worth the wait. A mimosa with your brunch is always a special treat.

Spot on Lunch! Went out with my Mom. Started off with the Corn Chowder which was perfect, not too spicy but had a nice kick! For my entree I had the Chicken and Asparagous Crepe which was to die for! Such tender chicken with a melted cheese on top! Nice to know my hometown has a quality place with good prices!

Great meal with friends at Victoria's! My wife and I were out for First Fridays in Oxford last night, and rant in to two friends with whom we had dinner sitting at the bar. The restaurant had a French theme menu for First Friday's that we all enjoyed. We all started with Vichyssoise, prepared with spring peas along with the potatoes and leeks. The peas gave a freshness that we all welcomed on this 95-degree day! Following that was a quiche/crepe plate - I chose quiche Lorraine and a seafood crepe. Both were very well prepared. In particular the sauce served with the crepe was rich and delicious. The meal finished with a cup of chocolate mousse. We really appreciate the atmosphere in the restaurant. The space is small, and there is always a buzz in the room. You can tell there are many regular diners, and the staff and owner know many by name. We'll be going back.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant! Have been here four times and never had a problem. The food is outstanding and the service is four star! Or perhaps I should go with the review and say five star! The portions are perfect. The setting is quaint and typical of a tuscan bistro atmosphere. The wine list is amazing. I am actually surprised to find a restaurant of this quality in this area! The perfect place to take someone special!!!

The food is outstanding. Love the people here, they are so friendly and welcoming. Took my mother here for Mother's Day and they made it so special for her. Came back again for Thanksgiving and had a fantastic meal. It's a very cozy place. The owner is the chef and she makes a point to ensure personal service. Love this place.

Wow. We were visiting the area (before relocating) and picked this place at random...and were oh-so-pleasantly surprised! It's a small place, but very cozy. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was excellent! I had the seafood crepes and they were TO DIE FOR. (Everyone at the table got a taste and they all agreed!) Everyone was trying everyone else's meals and they were all delicious! We can't wait to go back!

Simply amazing restaurant. Carefully selected, unique dishes at a great price. Vicky pleases the palates of the "food snob" (my husband and I), the all American (my parents) and our children. We just recently discovered Victoria's and it is already our favorite restaurant. Wait staff courteous and accommodating. The desserts and mixed drinks also have a unique, delicious flare to them. In my perfect world they would also be open on Sundays, but then how would they accommodate their fun cooking classes (Go!... A great experience, I can't wait to try some of her recipes!) and when would Vicky get a day off? 5 stars to Vicky and her staff.

Great restaurant that serves an excellent Sangria. Comfortable, friendly setting, yet excellent food. The best food I have yet to find in the area. Great wine pairings and a very knowledgable wait staff. They also cater; they did my cousin's wedding and were helpful and delicious.

Absolutely amazing! Such a romantic French bistro in a small little city such as Oxford. I took the bf here for his birthday. It is tiny inside, but the decor was charming. We sat by the window and watched the people walk by as we ate. Our waitress, super professional and efficient. She made sure we were totally taken care of the entire time. I got the chicken breast with a crab cake on top, and on top of that was asparagus and hollandaise sause. C'est magnifique! He got the steak with a mushroom sauce on top. He was in heaven as well. They bring a loaf of warm bread to your table and you get soup or salad w/ your entree. The bf got the bouillabaisse and said it was delish. Our meal would have been $30, which is outstanding, but the bf had to put us over w/ the glass of wine..$7.50 per glass, ouch. I totally recommend this place for a date or to celebrate a special event. You won't regret it.

Went here for Mother's Day Brunch. It was amazing! Have driven by so many times and never stopped in, now I know what I was missing. Had seafood crepes and guests with me had the chicken and asparagus crepes. So amazing! Dessert was even more delicious: bread pudding and lemon crepes with berries! Yum! Great atmosphere and intimate setting, perfect for date night!

DELISH! After moving to the area, one of my new girlfriends recommended meeting up here for a Saturday power hour.... what is power hour you ask? The best hour of the day on Saturday! From 10-11, they have $3 mini mimosas and bloody Mary's to wash down the best eggs benedict on the planet (the only way they could make it better is if they added a crab cake... but that is personal preference!)! The eggs benedict was only $5. We sampled both the prosciutto and the spinach.... I would take the prosciutto any day of the week! The waitress was very pleasant and attentive but not overly so. She told us about all of the specials and upcoming events. That is how we can for our second visit! Tuesday is $10 crepe nights with 1.2 carafe for $10! hubby ordered the chicken/asparagus and the beef/mushroom while I ordered the seafood and the steak/mushroom. The fresh, warm bread that starts out your meal is crusty on the outside, melt on your tongue on the inside. The salad was out of this world! Hubby had a soup which he did not want to share! The crepes were very delicate and delicious..... We started our meal with the white wine (not moscato) and followed it up with the Cab (which wasn't very good!). But if you stick to the white, you will not be disappointed!

Take 2 was the same as take 1...amazing!! I could eat their steak crepes all day if they weren't filling ;) Quaint, classy yet casual, with great service. Delicious :)
