It is interesting to find a place that reminds me of chi chis located in Owosso. This restaurant impressed me very much, to the point when I'm halfway through my meal I am wondering when I will be coming back next! Very delicious! Try the enchiladas!

Almost as good as authentic Mexican gets! The menu is varied and easy to read with a choice of dozens of combination platters - something all the best authentic Mexican restaurants have. The interior is bright and colorful. They really went all out! Every booth, chair and table has a unique, colorful molded picture representing Mexican culture. It's beautiful! After ordering, about 5-10 minutes later we were presented with a steaming hot plate full of food... I mean it. The plate was almost scalding to the touch. Be careful and watch your kids. It's clean, the service is very fast and friendly, and the food is fantastic. If you are in the mood for Mexican, you can't go wrong with Los Tres Amigos!

Beautifully remodeled! Love the decorations & the outdoor seating look inviting. I was new to Mexican food (well authentic Mexican) & had some questions, our waiter, although very nice & helper, didn't seem to understand us & we had a hard time understanding him. Food was good, not amazing or wow, but good.

I came in for opening week, so first impressions were a must. And as custom for many mexican restaurants I go to, I asked them for a simple flour tortilla with ground meat, cheese dip, onions and cilantro. Simple if they nailed it then I am a fan and will order more. This place hit the mark perfectly. The order I asked for was great and then I asked for pork tip tacos. And they were great. I am not normally wowed by mexican restaurants cause the lack of passion and authenticity most provide. But this restaurant is a great exception. The food is great, the drinks are great, service a little slow but hey that is opening week (not a big deal). Even the chips and guac and salsa were good. If it was not so far away I would go there more often, but I will go there if I am in the area. If you want really good food. Go there. It is worth it.

Since Los tres amigos has opened in Owosso, we have gone several times. The service has been excellent, the price is great, and the food has been great every time. They are very fast and the food always comes out warm and just right. It's one of our regular nights out now!

Consistantly good food, good service...nice to be able to sit outside. Good vegetarian options. Sangria served in a small glass was a downer but the margarhitas are tasty!
