My in-laws live in Brandon and asked me to pick up the pizza they ordered for us one Saturday night. I assumed it was going to be a chain pizza place and average pizza for the night. Boy was I wrong. For starters. Everyone in this little place was extremely nice considered how slammed they were with a line out the door on a Saturday night. I realized they forgot to order breadsticks as I was checking out and in a matter of seconds they pulled an order out of the oven and had them wrapped and rung up for me. When we got the food home I was most impressed. The deep dish crust was fantastic. The toppings were aplenty and the sauce had a nice mild spice too it that I loved that was just enough seasoning without being over powering. The salad was fresh and again, lots of toppings. This Greek salad was covered in feta, beets, olives and the rest of the veggies. Not just a big box of lettuce. For now on this is going to be an excuse to go see the in laws. Throw the kids in the car, order some Papa Bella's and hit the road to grandma's.

Some of the best pizza you will ever eat! The crust is hearty and hand tossed, the toppings are piled on, and the owners know a lot of the customers by name. Take out only. Be sure to try their BLT pizza. It's a favourite!

This is some of the best pizza places. Liberal on toppings, quick delivery, and the antipasto is a great salad with fresh everything! Great place with old pricing! It's not so expensive you cannot afford, but hte people are friendly, food is great, service is ok for delivery. Pick up is much better... we picked out a thin crust pizza with ham, pepperoni, green olives, tomatoes and onions... one of the best pizzas we have had! do not get anything but thin crust.. other crusts are too bready! Antipasto is awesome! cheese dip is great... eat here.. you will not regret it!

Tried Papa Bella's for the first time tonight after the restaurant generously provided a tour and free pizza to my daughter's kindergarten class. She raved about the pizza! I really enjoyed the pizza and the experience. The owner even helped me carry everything to my car. I love this type of small town small business touch. They clearly use fresh ingredients because you see cases of lettuce, etc. when you order a salad, it is a generous size and it has all been cut fresh - not the pr- made salad mixes that I can buy at Meijer. The dressing tasted homemade and the greek was perfectly proportioned with toppings and cheese, etc. We liked our pizza a lot! You buy 2 pizzas at a time here which works great for our family! The bread was delicious and not greasy. The mushrooms were fresh, not canned. The pepperoni was the thick yummy kind. We will be getting pizza from Papa Bella's again and again! Delicious. My advice to you if you are passing through town since PB has no tables - carry your food around back to the lovely shaded city park / playground and eat under the pavilion while the kids run around on the enclosed playground. It has no tall structures and is safe and fun for all ages! Enjoy !

Slice of heaven!! Growing up in Ortonville Papa Bella's was a every Friday night treat in my family since I was a kid. Now that I have moved away from the city - I still find ways to get Papa Bella's!! The pizza is hot, fresh, and never greasy. It does not leave you feeling tired and overly full. The toppings are always fresh and generously topped on each slice. Nothing is processed, which can be hard to find these days. The staff is friendly and always makes sure your order is correct and arrives in a timely manner. The bread sticks and cheese dip are AMAZING!! hands down the best item on the menu. The bread sticks are a buttery goodness and always has a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top. The cheese dip compliments the bread sticks with its cold, creamy, garlic flavors. It's a must have in addition to any pizza. Although, I don't live in Ortonville anymore, I have on occasion driven over a hour to treat myself to Papa Bella's just to have a taste of home. It will always be my favorite pizza joint for years to come and I will always find a way to eat it - even if I live a hour or more away!

We ordered Bella's pizza for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner since we were in an unknown area of town. They were wonderful helping me plan for the group. Their antipasto salad was amazing. Their special pizza loaded with toppings and their breadsticks were very good too. Our only disappointment was that they do not have a dining room, only takeout. Thank you Pappa Bella's for an excellent choice for our group.
