Similar to other kerbys. I wasn't very hungry and I just had their spinach pie. It was OK but the texture is a little unusual to other spinach pies I've had elsewhere. Good place for a quick bite while running errands in this area.

So we stopped here to have a quick dinner after doing some shopping. My food was fine. Nothing spectacular, but not terrible. I had asked for no tomatoes on my gyro, but they put them on there anyway. No biggie. I just picked them off. However... My boyfriend's food was another matter. We found mold on the bread in three places. I pointed it out to the waitress. She was a doll. She apologized and removed the sandwich from our bill. What struck me the most was when she showed it to the man who cooked our meals. He mumbled something and shrugged. He clearly did not care that he tried to feed customers moldy bread. The waitress assured me he wasn't the usual cook, but he was running the place. I'll avoid the place until I'm sure someone else is in charge with better customer service skills.

Hanging out waiting on 696 traffic to clear up ... again. Decided on Kerby's. New item on the menu, grilled cheese sammich w/Campbell's Tomato Soup. Finally somebody gets it! How many times have you walked in to an eatery on a cold winter day wishing they served grilled cheese & Campbell's Tomato Soup? Plenty, ;). Had two, and a side of zucchini fries as well, which were interesting & tasty (fried in a light tempura batter). Service was fine, atmosphere pleasant and I liked the simplicity of the menu compared to other coney chains in the metro area. Gonna' have to do this again sometime, :).

Worst coney I ever had, yes it was a snow day and not busy. Coneys were like leather on the grill for ever. My wife asked for her omelette not to be browned (over cooked) and yes way over done. Ordered zucchini fries, never came. When asked, oh sorry. When cancelled, offered to try a sample. As our waitress asked. She was told, not gonna happen way rudely. Yes I was pissed. Never again. And I'm a coney guy 4+ times a month.

One of the better Kerbys I have been too. I had a Coney no onions and chili and cheese fries. They were very hot and good. Michelle our waitress was great

It was pretty full when my husband and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were seated immediately, the table and seats were filthy. The restaurant seemed to empty out fairly quickly and after receiving our drinks there were maybe 3-4 tables being served. Our server was polite enough but from our seat we were privy to several arguments from several of the staff... In the front of the restaurant. The food was blah... No flavor and not enjoyable... Just food. Disappointing experience especially for a koney... Filthy restaurant, blah food, crappy service.... We will not be returning to this place. Would have been happier and more satisfied going to subway a few doors down.

Mediocre at best. I've had better chilli dogs at Skyline Chilli (a popular Ohio fast food chain). I'm not sure what the big thing is with all of these Coney Island type restaurants in Michigan, but I sure wish I would have tried a different one. The hot dog was boring, the chilli was not very good at all, and the fries were just your basic french fries. The decor was nice though and the server was somewhat pleasant.

It took us six minutes to get water. Enough said. This place is a travesty of a "Koney Island," whatever the hell that is. Do yourself a favor and get the real thing (read: Coney, with a C). The food was nothing special. And by nothing special, I mean I could have found this stuff in the frozen food aisle. Pretty much less than standard-fare Koney/Coney Island eats. One of the reasons I love going to Coney Islands is the friendliness and dedication you see from the employees. Apparently, nothing of the sort exists in Novi. Avoid this Koney Island like the plague.

After walking out of L. George's due to a rude & inattentive waitress, we went to Kerby's, with huge appetites. We were very attentively & kindly & quickly waited on by Asia. The food was delicious. It restored our hope in humanity!!

Went here on a casual Saturday for a low key lunch and was a bit surprised by the immediately charged atmosphere we found when coming into the restaurant. Was moderately busy but was directed to the booth directly next to the cashier station. Several single customers were directed to sit anywhere they like as long as it was a small table or booth, at that point there were SEVERAL open tables/booths thru the entire place. Ordered the chicken gyro and some curly fries after dusting a good share of food crumbs off the seat and the table we had been directed to. Felt like they hand't really caught up on cleaning tables or floors in a week or so, lots of crumbs and dust, browned rings all over the tables. The food itself came out fairly quickly and was kind of plain non descript and bland. Cooked the right amount but just not really tasting that good. As we were eating sitting not far from the entrance area we were overhearing a lot of disagreements between the older female manager and some of her wait staff that were being asked to work extended shifts to the point that some customers in the entrance tried to just walk by for a seat as they were a little distracted. Manager got a bit snippy with those customers, and when we got up to pay felt like we we walking in between the staff argument to pay. Overall blah food, unclean environment. Maybe we caught them on a bad day... But due to our overall experience and the food probably won't return anytime soon.

I can sum up our visit in two words: Absolutely abysmal. It took several minutes to be seated, despite the establishment not being particularly busy. We then waited several more minutes for a waitress to appear and take our beverage order. I ordered a Diet Coke; my companion a regular. About five minutes later, our drinks arrived. I don't know what I was given, but it certainly was no Diet Coke; it was horribly watered down and flat. The same fate befell my companion's regular. After ten minutes, our waitress reappeared to take our order. We decided to start off with cheese sticks. I ordered a Baby Kerby's Pita as my main and my companion ordered a spinach pie. It took less than three minutes for my companion to receive her spinach pie. That was ALL we were given. This made no sense to me, as it's only natural to give the appetizer FIRST and then the main courses. As for my companion's spinach pie, it was lukewarm and horribly dry. She wound up asking for ranch dressing as a means of giving it some much-needed moisture. Another ten minutes pass... and, finally, the cheese stick appetizer (with NOTHING to dip them in) and my pita arrived. The cheese sticks were, like the spinach pie, lukewarm. The cheese inside wasn't even melted. I wanted to complain to the waitress, but she disappeared from view and I saw no other waitress to beckon over. My pita was disgusting- It was stuffed with ONE LEAF of limp, yellowed iceberg lettuce, flavourless tomatoes, and soggy chicken. The only redeeming quality it had was the melted cheese inside. It managed to be horribly dry, despite the melted cheese and tomatoes. It also lacked any flavour. Thank heavens my companion had asked for that ranch dressing (not that their ranch dressing is particularly tasty, but at least it's moist.) Needless to say, the waitress received no tip because we so rarely saw her and we will never be eating at this place again.

Stuck on a Saturday at West Oaks. Tried to make the best of it so we walked into Kerby's. It was quite busy. My wife and I parked ourselves in the front corner of the restaurant. It was a small booth, barely big enough for us both, but I felt safe in the corner away from most of the commotion as the eatery was very busy. Our server, Summer, was exceptionally patient and pleasant towards us. She recognized me from several visits I made for carryout. My wife ordered a Coke and I ordered Ice Tea with Splenda. We both ordered cups of Bean soup and She ordered the Fish n Fries and I ordered the Chicken tenders n Fries. The soup came first. They were small bowls, very fresh, hot, and tasty. Serving size perfect for late lunch. Within what seemed like minutes Summer arrived with our food. My wife's Fish n Fries was 3 filets of battered Cod with a grilled pita bread and french fries. My Chicken tenders was 4 breaded tenders also with pita bread and fries. The fries were just right, crispy and not too salty. Summer came by several times to check up on us and provide refills. It was overall a nice visit. Only issues I had were 1) I should chose a larger booth. and 2) the table next to us was 2 ladies with 3 kids who made a mess and the mess was everywhere. they were loud and obnoxious.

Ok service and clean. Terrible breakfast. Everything tasted like it was fried in the same batch of week old oil.

It's sad that this is an amazing place to come and visit but not to come and eat. I will never waste my time and come here and eat at this place every again. A total wast of time and money. Keep walking right on by.

Food was OK. Typical Coney island fare. What made this place want me to write my first review was how bad the service was. It was not busy at all, and there were 5 servers. About 1 customer per server. My server never checked on me throughout my meal, delivered the wrong order, and was acting as if It was my fault that she screwed up. There are way too many food options in the area to ever waste my time coming here again.
