Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

One of the best breakfast places around. Love the ambience and the mishmash of coffee mugs. Staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Had a great omelet. I loved it. I wanted to stay longer and continue to talk (work breakfast meeting), but there were a lot of guest standing and waiting for the table. Definitely try it when you are out that way. Cheers!

Rebecca's is a place my kids love to eat when we're searching for a last minute breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is varied, and has many good daily specials as well. We have gotten to know all of the different waitresses over the 8 years we've been frequenting this establishment. Each are very sweet and great at what they do. Rebecca's aims to please her customers. It used to be the fish tank and train and quiz books that brought us, now, it's the great food and service and familiar friendly faces we come to see. Thanks Rebecca's !

Delicious, delightful and drive worthy!!! I have told many about this quaint little spot with a huge menu freshly prepared dishes, excellent , friendly service and generous portions! I can't wait to return! Maybe I'll try something other than breakfast!!!!

Going to keep it nice and simple, the food is EXCELLENT and they have some very nice healthy options. Their turkey burger is divine and I can't wait to try their homemade veggie burgers! The sweet potato fries were the best I have had, and the waitress was just a complete pro and sweetheart. I would have tipped her 100% if I had the cash on me. The food prices were very reasonable as well for its location. The ONE thing that kept this from being a five star review is that it very much is a FAMILY restaurant. This means that you should expect to have kids doing kid things around you when you eat. Yelling, running, watching, etc. It can take away from the otherwise great atmosphere, but I suppose I should have expected it. Overall, it was not enough to keep me away and I will certainly be going again soon!

Great family place, their sweet potato pancakes are awesome. Also, the farmers omelette is to die for.

Rebecca's is one of our favorite breakfast spots in the Detroit area and is a required stop whenever we are in town. The restaurant is adorable, as others have noted, and we are particularly charmed by the elevated HO train that chugs around the restaurant and the abundant Red Wings memorabilia. We tend to breakfast early to avoid the crowds, so we have not experienced the long waits that others have bemoaned. Among us (a party of at least 6), we have tried virtually every breakfast item, and all have been terrific. My personal fav is the spinach omelet. Rebecca excels in omelet-making because hers are light, fluffy and do not deflate as they cool. Yum. Our nephew and niece fancy the pancakes, especially the chocolate chip-studded, whipped cream topped ones. And a mighty fine cup of robust (yet not bitter) cup of joe can be had here, too.

We first visited Rebecca's during a street fair, so it was packed. The menu is pretty expansive- particularly all of the omelettes and griddle options. Our server could tell that we were new here, so she took the time to walk us through the menu, pointing out items that are popular and those that are her favorite. We ended up ordering omelettes, and yes, based on Yelp reviews, my husband and I both opted to get the banana bread with our meals. And yes, the banana bread is totally worth it. Super moist, full of nuts, and they throw it on the flat top, so its gets warm and get a little bit crispy. Perfect. I will agree with other reviewers- I really wish that they didn't use processed cheese (including those things labeled "Swiss cheese") in their omelettes, just cause I am not a fan. Either way, my husband and I visited 3 more times this summer, and we've never been disappointed!

This was the second time I've been to Rebecca's. I got there a little before noon on a Thursday, and it felt like it was a tots & moms event; LOTS of little kids all excited about the train that runs around a track just below the ceiling. But, the kids must like it there because there was virtually no crying. I was a little uncomfortable at the tiny table that was practically on top of the one behind me (close enough that a server asked if I was with the party behind me!) and that was right by the door where everyone walks in, but other than that, it was fine. Enough about the ambiance. I ordered a rather plain breakfast: 2 eggs, bacon, toast & hash browns. I am very picky about my eggs -- I like them dry and turning brown. They made them PERFECTLY for me, which is extremely rare. Funny thing, though: the server said they burned the toast, so she brought me more...and it seemed a little under-toasted, but it was fine. The hash browns were a tad burned, but not too bad & not worth sending back. The prices are reasonable, and the the staff is friendly. One server even watched the little boy behind me for a moment while his mother ran outside for a minute. It's definitely worth checking out.

A solid spot for breakfast fare but get here early there is always a line out the door and at best 10 to 15 tables inside if that if anyone here remembers the little buggy restaurants that were all over Detroit Bloomfield and Livonia back in the day it reminds me a lot of that with the decor kind of like they took their cues from a old version of Pee Wee's Playhouse and Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum lol .its very welcoming to children most of the parents are very responsible and keep them on a tight leash for the most part when you're done you can take the short walk around downtown Northville I would say you go for the food about as much as you go for the decor and experience if you just want breakfast go somewhere else if you want an interesting experience with the girlfriend or family go here

Charming, tasty, yummy food- I had a great breakfast burrito- it hit the spot. My husband had a turkey melt. There are many choices and sitting outside on a beautiful day- and Jennifer our great waitress. I will come back here again. I should also mention there are lots of desserts. Enjoy your meal!

We eat here once a week or more! Never a bad meal, busy but servers are on it. Fun, great food, great friends... try the banana bread! YUM!

Hands Down the best breakfast spot on the west side ... Stop searching and get eating. Excellent, fresh & flavorful dishes. Don't shy away from ordering griddle items - you won't be disappointed. Great Coffee too, which just makes it all perfect.

Excellent Homeade Soups and Onion Rings. I recommend the Rebecca's Omlette. Delicious Guacamole and Salsa. Great Waitstaff. They serve Coffee while you wait.

Great food in a charming atmosphere! The gyros and hamburger were both delicious - and looking around at other's choices, everything was fresh and attractive. The service was good and the servers were so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Great place for families! The staff goes above and beyond to make our kids feel welcome and even lend a hand if we're overwhelmed! Breakfast is wonderful, lots of options and always great. Lunch/dinner is also tasty, their spinach pie and chicken soup are the best!

I'm very happy with this place. We came here on a Monday for our daughter's 2nd birthday breakfast. I love the interior - diner feel without it feeling dirty and rundown. Seats were comfortable, and service was friendly. The train going around the room near the ceiling was cute, and our daughter loved it. Prices were reasonable, especially for Northville. My omelette was average sized, but my wife ordered the pancakes, and they were HUGE! She only ate one. Everything tasted great, with my only disappointment being that they use processed cheese in everything we got. I hope this becomes "our" new place.

A sweet gem in historic Northville. The atmosphere is pure nostalgia, with planes, trains, but surprisingly for Detroit area, no automobiles. Many great choices here, including vegiterian. Everything is homemsde. I had the turkey burger based on another Yelpers recommendation and it was fantastic. I also had the sweet potato fries with the butter and brown sugar dipping sauce. Wow are they good. The wait staff Is super friendly and makes you feel like a local. Definitely save room for desert, which includes many versions of ice cream and ice cream drinks. Enjoy!

Was looking for a new breakfast spot with the kids and came upon this homey place. With two groups ahead there was a small wait but we were greeted warmly and then thanked for our patience once we were seated. Breakfast was the choice for our crew. My teenage son ordered the lumberjack with over easy eggs and Redskins. Daughter number two (number one is at camp) had the number 4 with over easy eggs Redskins and sausage links. Daughter number 3 had the kids silver dollar pancakes with a scrambled egg and a sausage link. I ordered a broccoli cheddar omelette with well done hash browns and a side of bacon. We didn't have to wait long until our food was delivered. The kids all dug in and really enjoyed their orders. I tried a bite of Redskins but didn't really care for them versus my crispy griddled hash browns. The Redskins are deep fried. Not my thing I guess. My omelette was very good with lots of cheese and crisp tender broccoli. Since this place started as an ice cream parlor we of course had to try a shake. We ordered two shakes to go; strawberry and cookie dough. I asked our server to split the strawberry one so daughter number 3 could share with me. They didn't disappoint. Very thick and lots of chunks from the locally made guernsey ice cream. Good job Rebecca's! We'll be back!

Food was great, service was great! Only had 30 minutes on parking, place was packed, I got my food which was very good (eggs bene and corned beef hash) and made it to my car on time. Will hopefully be visiting again on my next work trip.

A while ago, I had Bell's palsey, which temporarily paralyzed one side of my face. Because my eye couldn't blink, I had to wear a patch. Yes - I looked like a pirate. On our first outing after coming down with Bells, we walked into Rebecca's to get an ice cream. As we waited in line, an 11 or 12 year old boy wouldn't (or couldn't) stop staring at me. It was a bit uncomfortable... After we were served our ice cream, we walked past his table and I growled ARRRR! He almost fell over. I felt better. We've been going here for ice cream for years, and we always enjoy. It's an nice addition to downtown Northville.

I've lived in Northville for over 7 years and just found Rebecca's! We love it! We had salads the waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious. We would definitely return again.

Good place downtown, good food, good price, been a great spot for years, very comfortable and homey.

This is a charming restaurant right off of Main St in downtown Northville. A working toy train chugs along the perimeter of the restaurant while model planes are suspended from the ceiling. A hot air balloon floats above diners, as well. Red Wings memorabilia make a home on one wall while newspaper clippings, old photographs, and posters are framed on the opposite one. The restaurant was bustling on a recent Monday morning; I guess many others took an extended week-end, as well. Up early from running errands, I was starving so I went with the yummy Apple Cran Three-Egg Omelet with hash browns, the latter was extra. An abundance of cranberries and diced apples studded the omelet, along with Dearborn ham, onions and white cheddar cheese. Tart, sweet and savory - the omelet was delicious. I also had a few bites of the sweet potato pancake with candied walnuts cooked right in the batter. It was okay but fairly one dimensional in taste - just sweet. In all, a fine place for brunch.

Awesome chili! Very generous portion. All home made food. Their ranch is outstanding and they have amazing breakfast food. You need to try this place if you have not.

If Janis Joplin wanted an amazing cheeseburger while watching toy trains cruising around the restaurant, she would eat here! Hippy chic sugar buzzes on crazy good ice cream. I am transported back to my childhood ice cream parlor with friendly service and fun trinkets around the store. I can't believe it has taken me so long to discover this jewel.

  • Grace L.

Came in here for a quick ice cream stop. I don't know what brand (started with a G) of ice cream they carry, but it was really good and creamy! I asked for a regular cup ($4) of ice cream and got a very packed portion - probably was 3-4 scoops of ice cream. I got the black cherry and cookies and cream. Wonderful and the server behind the counter was very friendly and patient.

This is by far MY favorite little joint in Northville. My fiancé and I come her at least once a week. You cannot beat the customer service. After dinning in 5 star restaurants across metro Detroit the service Rebecca's provides far out ways any other dining experience. All of their food is homemade. The chicken noodle soup and Mexican omelette are two of my favorites.

I first stumbled upon Rebecca's two months ago trying to find a new breakfast spot near my parents home. Boy am I happy we tried this place out! First of all, it is the cutest diner. It has a lot of character. More than that, the service and the food are top notch. My family from Colorado loves this place! We brought them there during their recent trip here and they insisted on coming back again two days later before they left. They actually said they would travel to Michigan just for Rebecca's! Everything we've had is delicious. Broccoli cheddar omelet with redskins, Croissant breakfast sandwich, croissant french toast, etc.....The nice thing is the service really takes the time to do more than take your order. They get to know you and remember you.

Always good. Breakfast is great but busy on weekends as others have said. Dinner on a rainy weeknight meant I & my 2 boys got our food within 5 mins of ordering! Hot & fresh. Magic soup was great. Also worth trying is the banana nut bread sundae!

I went here for the first time for breakfast with some friends, and the food was delicious! The waiters and waitresses were always coming by to refill our coffees and waters, and service overall was excellent. I had the blueberry crunch pancakes with bacon, I couldn't even finish a half order, they were so filling! Overall, very satisfied and will be coming here again in the future :)

I have every Tuesday off from work, so my daughter and I have made a fun "competition" to find the best breakfast place in the area. Suffice to say, Rebecca's won. They have a great menu, great staff, and wonderful food. The cool decorations, electric train, aquarium, and toys also keep the wee ones occupied while things are getting ready for you

One of my favorite breakfast places. The smoked sausage is a must have. Really good omlettes. Friendly service as well.

  • Cari M.

This place is so adorable! Cute interior decor and really cozy feeling! For breakfast I had the Rebecca's omelet - it is egg whites and made with olive oil - stuffed with spinach, tomato, mushrooms and other great veggies ... a breakfast you can feel good about eating, very healthy! Also came with turkey sausage and toast. It is a pretty expensive omelet but it's a lot of food and they are making it with olive oil and egg whites so thats why its a little bit more pricey. Great spot for breakfast- I was there with a friend but there were plenty of people eating alone just reading the newspaper or doing business so even if you're out on your own it seemed like a comfortable and welcoming place to be!

  • Krystal R.

Went for the first time on a Saturday morning. There was a 20 minute wait for 2 adults and one baby/highchair. Not bad. Hey, I'd rather go somewhere desirable then walking into a wide open joint. It is a good place for kids, friendly, lots of choices, they keep the coffee full, and it's in charming downtown Northville. I had the spinach souffle omelette and french toast (for me and my little one). Yum. I was really torn with ordering, I could have went a lot of ways. I guess I have to go back and keep trying different things : P

This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. The food and vibe were very good, but it was the service that was especially great. Every one working here seemed to be in a wonderful mood, and this makes all the difference.

  • Christine B.

On the weekends, there are almost always tons of kids here. Beware! Some of the parents forget they are parents while they are enjoying the food. I am a big fan of Rebecca's omelets, particularly one with apples. I also appreciate the homemade vegetarian "burger". The food is solid, but I have a hard time enjoying it when there is so much chaos.

    (3)
  • Rebecca B.

Very very good. There was a long line but it went by fast. Prompt service and efficiency is the obvious philosophy around Rebecca's. The menu was diverse and interesting and there was more than one thing that peaked my interest (which is rare). Also has a bunch of ice cream flavors. Very good, worth the wait.

    (4)
  • Allen G.

Excellent breakfast at good prices. It's a small place and usually for breakfast you are waiting some time. But it's worth it. Only downsides to me are the wait times and the bathroom is downstairs. Other than that, no complaints. Never had a bad meal here (breakfast).

    (4)
  • Goeff L.

LOVE THIS Place...... The Spinach EGG's Benedict is what I get, AWESOME. Only problem, weekends and summer time its crowded in the mornings. But get there, its worth waiting for.

We weren't sure about Rebecca's until we saw three preppy jock boys (you know, the bad guys in all those 80's teen movies) sitting there eating the most amazing looking pancakes! We quickly grabbed a sidewalk table with our pup and got familiar with the menu. Sweet potato pancakes! With toasted sweet walnuts! With a side of gyros meat and really good coffee. And real maple syrup for an extra buck 'n a half. Done! 2 days worth of amazing breakfast right there! Those pancakes were unbelievably good and I want them again now just thinking about 'em. And it's, like 11 PM right now! My other half had some really fresh looking sunny side up eggs, cooked perfectly, home fried potatoes (small new potatos cut into wedges and lovingly skillet fried and very delicious). His cinnamon raisin bread was also amazing. They had all kinds of really cool sounding omelettes on the menu. The waitress was very attentive and kept coming back to check on us. It was the most pleasant breakfast experience we've had in quite a while! We never did see that country cute inside and as long as it's nice out, I'll just come back to sit outside with my doggie!

When I worked in Northville I used to eat here all the time. It's a cute little joint that reminds me of an old school Sanders shop. It is kid friendly and the decor is very nostalgic. Compared to the other restaurants in Northville, I would come here because the food was better than a diner but not pricey like some of the other restaurants. Perfect to get out of work and enjoy a decent meal.

  • Dawn F.

Whenever my kids are asked where they want to go for breakfast...it's always Rebecca's! Which says a lot since there is usually a good 20-30 min wait for brunch on the weekends. But the food is excellent and I have never been to a restaurant where the service was so exceptional! It doesn't matter who your server is, if you need something everyone is eager to serve you! I love the small town feel of this place. It feels like you're sitting around moms kitchen table! If you've never been here , you must give it a try!!!

    (5)
  • Barramundi S.

Definitely a must try atleast once while in Northville. I've eaten there a few times, had everything from Breakfast - Dinner. If it weren't for the kid friendly atmosphere I probably wouldn't go back. They've got books, toys etc to keep the kids busy but the food again is sub-par. They have daily specials and the food is very reasonable... yes, I do support local mom-pops and hence continue to eat here since the staff is good, friendly and cheerful. Downside is that seating is VERY limited to so try to go in the off peak hours...

We love love love Rebecca's! We just wish it was bigger :) We have had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert here, and have never been disappointed. They have many options for vegetarians too. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and fairly quick, even when they're busy. A fish tank, toys, and books to keep the kids busy. We plan to keep going here for years to come, and sometimes I imagine my son and his friends having reunions here after they go to college :)

This place is super cute in Northville's little downtown area. I came here for breakfast with my husband, two year old son, and a friend. It's super kid friendly. They have choo choo trains all over the walls, a fish tank to look at, and buckets of toys for kids to play with while you wait. The staff is super friendly and the food was pretty amazing too. I got a mexican style omelette which was almost like a coney with cilantro and cheese. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was excellent. My husband got a combo of pancakes and waffles so he could share with my son and the waffles I have to say were amazing. They must put a little cinnamon in them or something because they were sooooo good. If we end up moving back to this area I will definitely be back!

Just went to Rebecca's today for the first time. Food was normal breakfast food. Cramped but I love the feel of it. Upbeat hostesses, had a server named Heather who my 4 year old daughter loved, gave her a huge hug. Service was quick precise and perfect. Love that the kids can color outside and they have toys and books. Will be back soon!!! Thanks Heather

Rebecca's isn't a flashy spot. It's even a little run down and a bit dark inside, what with the black tile and all, but it's a fun time if you've got a little one. I took my little cousin here for an afternoon of ice cream and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Little cousin was very insistent on vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. I went up to order. They were temporarily out of vanilla. "Oh no." I thought. This was at the end of an action packed day and this just turned 3 year old had not had a nap. Meltdown was imminent. Cuz did not want anything but vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. The girl behind the counter was apologetic. Suggesting swaps. Nope. Vanilla was it. So--bless this girl's heart--she scooped out a vanilla ice cream with candy chunks and, one by one, picked them out, so she could have her vanilla ice cream. What a gal! For me, she hooked up a fantastic sundae with a vanilla/coconut ice cream. Delicious! The little one had juice. I stuck with water. They had decent selection of kids books so we sat the table and read while we snacked on our ice cream. An adorable little choo-choo train ran around the top of the ceiling and a fish tank near the entrance enthralled her as well. They even have toy sets for the kids to play with so cuz and played with a tinker toy-like set ("Make a rexy!" she told me. How do you make a t-rex out of tinker toys? I was not very successful at this venture). In fact, until the very end of our trip here (wherein cuz got too tired for her own good and lost it a bit), we had a great time! I'm looking forward to bringing her here again when she's a little more refreshed.

This is probably one of my favorite breakfast spots in Northville. They have so many breakfast options it's almost hard to choose. Are you on a health kick? they have oatmeal with your choice of 4 toppings. Load it on up with coconut, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, the list goes on. Are you hungover? They have a ginormous breakfast burrito for that. Are you feeling simple and classic? They have egg combos with red skin potatoes that are amazing. *Tip- They have some BOMB ass banana bread. If you get a breakfast combo, upgrade the toast to banana bread. They put it on top of the flat top and let it get a bit crispy. It is deliciously buttery on the outside and moist and sweet on the inside. HEAVEN in your mouth! Hell just get a side of it even if it isn't included in your meal. On my most recent visit I ordered 1 multigrain nut pancake with bananas and a side of 2 eggs. These pancakes were nothing short of delicious. I didn't even need syrup the ripened bananas sweetened them just enough, and the nuts provided a great texture. The boy and I both ate here for less than $15. That got us loaded oatmeal, side of bacon, side of 2 eggs, a HUGE pancake, and 2x drinks. A $15 well spent! This place reminds me as if you were sitting in your Grandma's kitchen as she's slinging delicious breakfast on the table. You're surrounded by trains and other interesting chotch keys to keep your eyes entertained as you're trying to wake up. I will say that this joint gets PACKED on the weekends, so if you're starving, moody, and don't have the patience for people I'd recommend going somewhere less busy. But I will say that it will not be that good. Suck it up and stick it out, it'll be worth it, I promise! I always look forward to coming here for breakfast. In fact... pancakes sound delicious right about now.

  • Mike K.

Kinda interesting in that I would give it 5 stars for breakfast, probably the best spot in town, yet have a real hard time rec'ing it for lunch and could not for dinner. There are just too many other and better options for dinner in the immediate area that are better. But, for breakfast, providing you can bear the wait on the weekend, there is simply no better place for eggs, pancakes or any other breakfast creation you could think of. Service is pretty good, they have ice cream and it won't break the bank!

I was not expecting much, especially after I walked in. I had heard there was good food here from a friend and did not consult yelp (gasp). Upon seeing toys, trains and toddlers overwhelming the smallish interior, my husband was breaking out into a cold sweat. He suddenly had visions of bad chicken nugget type cuisine and obnoxious unsupervised kids running through his head. I had to hold his hand firmly to prevent him from bolting. Turns out the food is good and on this occasion the parents were keeping their kiddos in check. His before caffeine scowl probably did the trick at any rate, it belies the softy that lurks underneath his menacing exterior and tends to keep children effectively at bay. This place features from scratch soups. That is happy for both of us. They have a great variety of sandwiches, salads and breakfast items. On this occasion we stopped in for breakfast. It was a tough call for him between sweet potato pancakes and cinnamon raisin french toast but ultimately the rarer pancakes won out. He was definitely a fan. They were sweet yet not overwhelming and I think I was lucky to even get a bite. I went for the omelet and it was stuffed full of happy veggies I got to pick myself. Utterly delicious. I was also quite happy with my perfectly toasted toast that was delicately buttered to boot. Nothing makes me sadder than soggy or burnt toast. We will back to give lunch or dinner a whirl.

Love this restaurant! Super friendly staff, a menu with lots of variety and healthy choices, and very kid-friendly. The kid's menu offers a wide variety of sides, not just chips or fries. Prices are reasonable, too.

What is not to like about Rebecca's? Maybe you could get frustrated by all the great options on the menu. Maybe if you go for breakfast on a weekend, you'll have to wait for a bit... But these are the only drawbacks you are likely to encounter. What this place has to offer more than makes up for them: -Personable service -Great breakfasts (try the O'Brien Omelet or the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict) -Excellent soups...my favorites being the Broccoli or the Magic soup -One heck of a Greek Salad -Great Smoothies -And...If you can catch it as a special...truly great Meatloaf made by Rebecca's dad Check out Rebecca's. You will not be sorry.

I can't add much to the reviews already posted. I agree that it is very kid friendly. It is small and crowded and noisy. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I wish they could figure out a way to expand and perhaps have some booths. Although that might not be possible. That being said, the food is great. It is very fresh and they have a creative menu. My personal favorite is the apple cranberry omelette. YUMMY! I always add the grilled banana bread. LOVE! Strawberry spinach salad is great too. Service is always friendly and they keep the coffee cup full.

I keep coming back here mostly for the service and ambiance. I love it when the little train is on and it circles around the restaurant....so cute! If you go on the weekend during breakfast time which for me is around 10-11am, it gets a little busy but they offer you something to drink as you wait. Plus you can watch Nemo in the fish tank or play Brain Age. I always order the 'make your own omlette' and pretty much you can put in as many ingredients in the darn thing and you have an option of having it cooked in olive oil, which I always go for. Overall this place is good eats and good people!

Coming here for breakfast can cause you to have a heart attack. Not because of the food but because of the people that stand in your way. This place gets packed, like line out the door packed and for good reason. The breakfast, that's all i've had here, is amazing. Fresh, flavorful and surprisingly cheap. The crazy shit on the walls is ok and the inside can get a bit tight. Especially when there's a line of hungry people forming down the center of the dining room. But the wait is well worth it. Upon my most recent visit I came with a party of 4 and waited almost an hour to sit down. Once we sat down though our food came really fast and it was a solid hot meal. If you time it right you can get in here for breakfast without having to wait. ALSO! If you're sitting down, your finished eating and you're running your gums about boring bullshit. Get your fat ass up and leave. This place is for eating. Not sitting on your ass talking. I say this because this fat bitch kept talking to her shitty family while they took up a table of about 8 seats. Meanwhile about 10-12 people were standing in line. Just saying be considerate of others. I gave her a dirty look like everyone else in line. But she was too stupid to notice she was a nusence.

Fantastic breakfast and sweet treat spot! I always get the broccoli and cheese omelet and my girl loves their French toast. It can be very, very crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so plan accordingly. The staff will go out of their way to sort out the seating and bring you a coffee while you wait. The place is wonderful for kids, with little toys and a decor right out of a kids room (planes, trains, and of course automobiles). Overall, Rebeccas is a Northville treasure. Highly recommend it!

Just had the most fabulous lunch at Rebeccas today. It was a half of an acorn squash with maple cream and cranberries, spinach, and lots of other stuff topped with a white cheese - TO DIE FOR!!!!

Although only my second trip to Rebecca's, and although I only got ice cream, I was thoroughly impressed. Friendly staff members and the kiddie size ice cream was large enough for 2! Looking forward to more trips into Rebecca's to try some of their other menu items.

Great food. Like a diner out of a small town movie. Train running over head is so Americana, I like the fact that the place is homey, good food and great service. It has an old time ice cream area - and kids like the colorful fishbowl and signs on the walls. The place is rather small - but that adds to the quaint style. Menu is full of various kids of food from burgers to mexican - and from pancakes to sandwiches

My family loves this place. The food is very good. There is a large variety. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is how crowded it is (which if they weren't good, it wouldn't be crowded ;-))

Somehow I hadn't heard of Rebecca's before. A friend suggested it as somewhere for us to meet for lunch with our toddler girls on Friday, and I looked forward to checking it out. When I first walked in, it looked pretty crowded, but once we had the two adults and two highchairs at our table against the wall it wasn't too bad. A gentleman who was sweeping the floor had my daughter giggling every time he went by. A happy baby makes a happy mama! I had the nachos, which were yummy, and my daughter had the grilled cheese with a side of cottage cheese. We all got a good laugh when the cottage cheese originally came out with a soup spoon bigger than my daughter's mouth! The waitress promptly brought us a regular spoon. I liked the toys they had available for kids to play with while waiting, or in our case, while the grown-ups visited for a few minutes after we finished our meals. One warning - I heard that their changing table in the restroom was broken and unusable as of last month, so I was careful to bring my daughter with a fresh diaper already on. Hopefully it's been replaced, but we weren't willing to risk it!

Excellent breakfast food at a good price. The hard ice cream is nice but nothing special. The menu is huge, varied and delicious.

Wonderful breakfast food with many choices.... and a special spinach salad with fresh strawberries for lunch. Decor is quaint and old fashioned ice cream parlor design. Grand kids really enjoy coming for ice cream and sitting at the counter looking at the fish tank. Entertainment toys provided for the kiddies. Sandwiches soups and menu are a delight. Sunday morning crowd is huge for breakfast so try another day and off hours to avoid the crowds. A favorite with the Northville locals.

I love the food here and it is very inexpensive. The only things I don't enjoy about this place is that it is very small and a little outdated. I know they are going for an old school feeling, but I think they could afford to upgrade the tables and chairs or maybe try a different layout.

A friend who lives in Northville and I went to Rebecca's for dinner yesterday. I had checked Yelp and it got really good reviews. I had the bean and ham soup and a Greek salad. While I like Panera's greek salad much better, the soup was probably the best I've had in I can't tell you how long. When the waitress brought the bowl to the table, she had both hands full and I thought she was going to spill the soup when she put the bowl down. Not to worry. The soup was so thick it stayed in the bowl. As a matter of fact, if I go back I'll have another bowl and perhaps some bread to go with it and skip the salad.

I totally dig the family feel of Rebecca's. It's hard for my husband, son, and I to eat out, but Rebecca's makes it easy. I love that it's a family place with a casual vibe. The trains, toys, and fish make any wait fly, and once seated, you're promptly greeted and taken care of. If you need your space when you eat, you probably won't like Rebecca's. The restaurant is small, but we actually enjoy the proximity to others. It allows you to make small talk with those next to you, if you so desire. I'm a huge chicken fingers fan, and theirs don't disappoint. Although I don't eat fish and chips, my husband raves about the crisp, perfectly fried fish every time he orders them. We tried ordering off of the kid's menu, but found that our 2 year old would rather pick off of our plates than eat his own. Go with an appetite and you'll have a great meal.

I love that they kept the Cloverdale's ice cream parlor. I often order the Greek Salad, the dressing is a guarded recipe made in their kitchen from scratch. If you want something different try the sweet potato fries topped with a brown sugar glaze. Rebecca's is great for breakfast too - get there early on the weekends, it is busy in the morning!

Whenever we dine in Northville we make sure to save room for dessert here. I was not aware until just now that they have yummy food, I will definitely be giving that a try in the future! Yesterday, we had ice cream. I got cookie dough, yummy! My husband had a blue moon shake, amazing! My daughter had amaretto cherry, she says it's good. I love the atmosphere, the train, fish tank and toys to play with are cool! We really love this place!

My family and I love this place, the food is always yummy, the tacos are the best I've had, better than most Mexican restaurants. You will have to wait a little while but it's always worth it.

Rebecca's is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places! Eclectic atmosphere and great prices! The only problem is that sometimes it can take a while to get service. Early Sunday mornings are pretty busy. I do like the fact that you can choose to sit in the little walk-way between the buildings. It's quaint and a cute way to accommodate a large crowd when days are nice. :)

This is a very nice place with a unique atmosphere, friendly service, and good food at an affordable price. The kids like it too. The ice cream is a plus too.

I love this place for breakfast or lunch, the chicken salad wrap is awesome and the Mandarin Chicken Salad with the raspberry vinaigrette is the best. All of the help is friendly and have been there forever. The owner is usually there saying hello. The train that runs around the ceiling is a nice touch. The ice cream is from Guernsey's. One draw back, this place is a magnet for the kid crowd, lots of busy kids, lots of noise, but the food makes up for all the noise. Usually the wait is less than 10 mins. for a table. We love it....

Good food... fresh, quality ingredients, especially meats. Large menu selection for breakfast, lots to choose from griddle menu. Price is cheaper than most breakfast/coney island places and food is much better. All desserts are homemade and delicious. Staff very friendly.

This place is kind of freaky. From all the massive amounts of toy decorations and the electric train running around the ceiling. Then you take a look around and all you see are Mothers and children. It reminds me of Pee-wee Herman or something. It's really busy and noisy in here. I am not sure why you would want to come here except for the freak show aspect. It was fun though. I ordered some kind of deep fried fish sandwich and split a salad with my friend. Sweet potato fries are good here. The food was ok, but the atmosphere was highly entertaining. I recommend for everyone to come here.

The sweet potato pancakes are amazing!!! Pay for a side of real maple syrup; it's a must! And I love the home fries, too. Rebecca's is a cute little place with very friendly and attentive staff. I took off a point because for lunch, I was very disappointed in the mac n cheese. I think they serve Stouffer's frozen mac & cheese.

Went here with a group of friends due to the strong Yelp recommendations. It sounded like the perfect place: good food and good, friendly service. We're not a very picky group (we usually go out and enjoy ourselves no matter where we go) and we thought it would be a fun, cute place to stop for a while. We were all quite hungry, so standards for quality of food were relatively low. While I will say the restaurant is cute and family friendly and the staff was friendly enough, overall, our experience was pretty terrible. First, we were sat at a pretty unclean table (though it had been wiped down). We sat at our table for almost 15 minutes before anyone came to check on us again, despite there being only one or two other occupied tables. We eventually decided as a group that if no one came to check on us in another 5 minutes we would leave and find somewhere else to eat. With about a minute left our waitress came to get our orders, but only offered a lame excuse of being busy and did not apologize. Considering all of the other tables were being tended to, we're pretty sure we were just forgotten in the corner. This was about the level of service for the rest of our time there. Although the staff was not directly rude, they were generally not very helpful and slow to serve. As to the food, it's overpriced and, honestly, we agreed that we may have been better off at a Denny's (note: none of us eat at Denny's with any sort of frequency). I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno burger, which was a decent portion (I was full after eating it), but it came with absolutely no side (seriously? Almost $7 for a burger and no French fries or even some potato chips or something?). The bacon was sparse to say the least and the burger was dry and overall just not good. It took a lot of ketchup and mustard to make it moist enough to eat. Others in my group found hair in their food and one hurt her tooth on a couple of unpitted olives in her salad. I'm pretty sure the only reason none of us complained was because we were all just so desperate to eat and get home. Overall, I left wishing that we had chosen somewhere cheaper and faster, even though I am generally not a fan of those kinds of places. I will not be going back and I encourage you to avoid it as well, unless you're desperate.

Best for breakfast. Great for kids. The trains are the bomb. Good ice cream. Long lines on weekend mornings. The french toast concoctions are very good.

I know I look at Rebecca's with total and complete nostalgia. Spending my formative years in the area, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will dine at Rebecca's every single time I am back in town - hands down, not a question. The history that lies in the walls is genuine, some previous reviewers find it campy or disturbing, but I find it warm and incredibly personal. Rebecca's is well known for their working train that circles the restaurant overhead and it's loved by many. This isn't a place for fine or luxury dining, it's a place to see your neighbors, friends from school and co-workers. This is a place for regulars and is no stranger to families of all shapes and sizes. But if you are going there for your first time, it's a must to try the eggs benedict their hollandaise is out of this world!

As the other reviewers said, this place does have awesome sweet potato fries. The sandwiches are also excellent. Also, the soups are made fresh daily, for realsies. I ordered the soup and it was definitely made fresh and not out of a bag. I've yet to have ice cream here, but the word on the street is it's awesome. I would only note that this place is practically swarming with kids at all times, given the large fish tank, the toys all around for them to play with, and the little train that goes around the store.

YES. I grew up on Rebecca's (which used to be Cloverdale back in the day) so I'm more than biased, but it is THAT good. Be prepared to wait a long time, and there isn't really a waiting area so it's kind of awkward in the winter. Believe me, though, it's worth it (go for the apple omelette and cinnamon toast!)
