Great bar, serves pictured rocks brewing company micro brews which are great. Typical UP bar with live music some nights. We came on brick oven pizza night so didn't get to try the full menu. Go here if you're visiting and want good craft brews and food.

Nice surprise with great live music on a Friday in June. They have popcorn (help yourself), a full bar (feat. Pictured Rocks Brewing Co. Beers -- which I recommend) & all that you're hoping for in a U.P. bar :) We came for the beer, enjoyed brick-oven pizza, & we're incredibly glad that we stopped by!

I like Shooters, and since we live in Munising, it could become our regular place. They serve Pictured Rocks Brewing Company beers--just seem to have trouble having more than one or two on tap at a time. The food's good--excellent burger. We're going back soon to try the Friday night wood fired pizza. (Good pizza's hard to find in the UP.) Friendly bar staff.

This is a perfect little dive bar. My wife and I are thinking of picking up a seasonal home in Munising and having this place in walking distance would really help to sweeten the deal. Shooters offers up a well-lit log cabin vibe inside, chock full of of Munising charm. There is a serviceable selection of liquors as well as canned and bottled beers. But the star of the show is the series of tap handles of craft brew from Pictured Rocks Brewing Company (brewed next door). Due to some trouble with the air-conditioning unit at the brewery, there were only two beers available when my wife and I stopped in. But we tried the cream ale and even though it's not a style I care for, this was a very tasty example. Can't wait to stop back in sometime when they have more to choose from. There is food but the menu is fairly limited and it seems like they randomly close the kitchen without warning. So you may wish to eat elsewhere and then stop into Shooters after for the good drinks and good company. If they add a couple of decent pinball machines I'll change my rating to 5 stars in a heartbeat.

The pizza is only available Fri @ 4:00 and Sunday @ Noon. I wish we would have known that before we stopped. Good beer, no doubt. I liked the say Train IPA and my g/f liked the Chapel Rock (Cream Ale). We got some ok nachos but we're disappointed over all.

From Grand Rapids, here for the weekend. Came here today for lunch had the nachos & a pastie. Pretty good. Heard they had wood fired pizza tonight so after some afternoon hiking thought we'd come back & try the pizzas. They were great, & can't beat $6 a pizza. Many to choose from! Live music too. Would come back.

My girlfriend and I came in for some food, a few drinks, and to watch the Tigers game. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. We had such a good time, we went to Shooters every night while we were there for vacation. They get very busy, so if you aren't helped right away, please be patient; it was definitely worth it!

This place calls itself a brewpub but it only had 2 local beers available on draught. Further, the hours are 11:30am - 2:30am but when we went there at 6:30pm we watched the bartender put a sign on the door that said "Kitchen Closed" and several people came and went after seeing the sign. I suggest re-naming it "Bud Light Lounge" (since that is what most people were drinking when we were there) and hope for the best since there doesn't seem to be interest in actually running a true brewpub.

While in Munising, MI. I stopped at Shooters Firehouse Brewery. Even though they were out of most of their craft beers, the bar tender was incredible!!! So very sweet, funny and made me feel right at home(unlike the rest of the locals) Sweet lady who was very witty and served a great pasties! Yes, PASTIES!!!! Beef and potato pastry pie! YUM!!! Shooters is a must stop!

I thought they had a terrific beer selection. My wife liked the IPA and I thought the wheat beer was excellent as well! Decent food selection, but I think shooters is more known for its microbrews.

We headed here at 7pm on the off season hoping to grab some dinner. The sign on the door let us know that the kitchen was already closed. The waitress informed us that the cook leaves the moment that the crowd thins out. Therefore it's impossible to know if you will end up with dinner. On the other hand, the beer was awesome. The brewery located next door brews up some delicious beers. If they had food we would have definitely stayed for another!

This place didn't have the best reviews but I tried it anyway.. Pleasantly surprised!! They don't have a huge menu but as a vegetarian I was happy to find a black bean burger. It was the best one I've had since being in the UP. The service was good/fast!!

Good beer, although four of seven taps were out when we arrived and a fifth went dry when we were there. I would've liked to try one of the IPAs, but settled for a good pale ale. The milk stout was well done.

Good atmosphere. I found this to be a good place to have drinks, can't speak to the food. I was impressed by the alcohol selection. Service wasn't particularly enjoyable. The bartender seemed really peeved that we were ordering drinks (how dare we, right?!?). My group stayed for several rounds, as this seemed to be one of the more lively watering holes in the area. I had to shake my head though, when as we were walking out, the bartender was engaged in a really loud verbal altercation with a customer!

This is a bar that has pizza if you feel the need to eat while at the bar. This is NOT a restaurant. Please be guided while making your restaurant choices while in Munising.

Awesome beer ( try the Stout and the light IPA ) If you love food - ask about the. Muldoon's Pasty. So good they claim it's the best in the UP. Second best (try Tony's County Kitchen in Laurium) but wonderful especially if you have them with beer. Stop in! No worries.

Great place. Awesome locals. Only had pizza available. Kinda strange cause it was a Friday night! Pizza was ok. Atmosphere was the best!

House brew- pretty good. Food-really bad. Nothing matched the menu description. Chicken fajita salad had raw onion and pepper, very little lettuce, too many chips, and missed the guacamole. Prices were much too high for actual dishes served. Go, if you want to try a local beer, otherwise, skip the food
