I've eaten here many times and the food is great. Daily specials always seem to include their famous Broasted Chicken. I think, in many ways, it even surpasses Frankenmuths Bavarian Inn and Zehnders. Make sure to add the broasted potato to your dinner if you're getting the chicken; it's the best. EVERYTHING we have tried on their menu is excellent. The only reason I didn't give Fino's 5 stars is because of one waitress that is consistently rude. I have not run into her the past couple times we've been there (thank God !!). I have no idea what her name is, and if she even still works there...but if you encounter a waitress (looking to be in her 50's) with short blonde hair and glasses...either request to be seated elsewhere or leave entirely.... Otherwise, sit down and enjoy the GREAT food at this local diner.

We had breakfast there so months back and it was pretty good so we decided to try the broasted chicken dinner. The waitress practically brought evrything at once. my wife said that the split pea soup was not home made, our sides, green beans and mashed potatoes were cold and when we asked to have them warmed up, she brought them back just as cold. No offers to refill our tea. Neeedless to say, we won't be going back.

It seems Fino's has undergone a mgmt or ownership change in recent months. I used to go there several times a week, The food was consistent and priced affordably. The breakfasts, and Broasted chicken (hard to get wrong) are always good, as are the sides. Fish? Not so much. The owner? (Mike) was ever-present, friendly, and apparently pretty good at hiring excellent servers, cooks, and staff. However, Mike is no longer around, and we were told by the staff that there is new mgmt. The menu is the same, but the vibe has definitely changed for the worse. The dozens of overhead speakers now blast Top 40 FM music at levels that prevent conversation with table-mates. That alone is a deal-breaker for me. If I want to hear that junk, I'll go to a bar. The food would have to be a lot better than it is to balance that out. At least at Dena's (down the street) you can escape the excessively loud TV somewhat by dining in the back room. Fino's is still head and shoulders above The Eatery. Also, as an aside, I have heard through the grapevine that the wait-staff now has to divide and share tips rather than earn their own. This lowest-common-denominator, socialized tip distribution drives the best waiters and waitresses away.

Typical Coney Island. Nice owners and service is descent. Food is average, nothing done great but nothing is bad either.

I like the diner coffee, cinnamon raisin French toast and the owners. Clean, friendly environment. Good place to go to for breakfast or lunch. Blows The Eatery (next door) out of the water. Only bad experience I had was I ordered an omelette that want cooked all of the way but the staff were all caring about it and sent me home with a chicken gyro (yummy!)

Ate here for breakfast, I ordered the Super Omelet (add mushrooms). The coffee was good, it was clean, staff was friendly enough. My guy luvs the broasted chicken, I've never had it - But it looked good. They forgot my mushrooms but offered to sautee them and serve them separately - since they weren't mixed in with er'thing else I declined. Overall It was just okay for me

Ate there for the first time this afternoon. Nice and clean place. Very good service. Friendly atmosphere. Had the Club Sandwich (very good) and cabbage soup (excellent).

The food is frozen and then fried. It tastes freezer burnt to me and it is not a clean place. There are dead flies on the windows and the owners are not friendly. I would not recommend this place.

This restaurant needs a thorough cleaning! Went for breakfast and received cold toast. I asked for hot sauce and when I opened the lid, it was crusty. I went to the counter and asked for a clean one. The waitress opened the lid, checked it, and gave it to me. When I got back to my seat and opened it, it was as bad as the first! I explained we could not eat our food and the waitress brought us a bill and asked if we wanted a box...NO! I did ask to speak to the manager, but she never came over. Finally, we went to the register and the manager explained we did not have to pay, but they could not keep hot sauce containers clean???

This is a great place. Their menu is full of tasty options but you'll definitely be satisfied by their famous broasted chicken. It's not gourmet food but it's delicious and worth stopping in.
