Today we were taking a walk up and down Main St.Milford and stopped at the Main St Grill for a cold beer, sitting down at one of the outside tables, waiting for some service from inside, after at least 5-10 minutes I went inside to get a menu, seeing only ONE person in the entire bar sitting at the bar, picking up a menu and going back outside to continue to wait! I returned back inside to return the menu and still no one ever made any acknowledgement that I was standing there or had been in twice! I returned outside and we left to stroll down the St. to another venue Smoke st.! Must not need our business to bad! This is after other 2 star reviews from before, we are taking this off our list of stops in town.

Just stopped in and met the new owner- Reg! What a great host and the food has been upgraded under his reign. As good as a burger I have ever found in Metro Detroit. Sorry Miller's... Reg has you beat! Also a great little bar and cozy place to hang with friends or on a date.

The first time we went to Main Street we were not impressed, but decided to give it a shot after we heard they got new owners. Boy am I glad they did! The food improved tremendously and the service is always great. Compared to a lot of places in Milford, this place is a lot more affordable - but definitely doesn't slack on quality now! This is one of our favorite places to go and it is child-friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Heard someone from my high school, Divine Child in Dearborn, had bought this place. I admit, this gets me in the door...but it doesn't get you a good "Yelp". If you are a friend or associate and I don't like your place, chances are that I just share my opinion with you and you only. If you take it as badgering or antagonizing, I WILL give you a low Yelp rating. Any doubt on that, read my 300 some reviews. With that being said, very happy that when I was in town I met my cousin at the Mainstreet. The service was outstanding. Friendly but in a way where you can converse the way friends do. A little banter, a little opinion, and a lot of meaningful conversation that wasn't just drunk talk trying to get every last bit of a tip with drunken cordialness. The burger was up there with Mason's and Millers and I was really happy with the experience. Next time I'm near Milford, as long as my cuz doesn't mind a snoring bear in his guest room, I plan on making a full night of it at the Mainstreet!

Sadly this place has gone downhill in a big hurry. Original management left about a year ago and has not been the same since. Called today to ask about the new Michigan Law (BYOW) and asked if they would charge a corkage fee, I could hear the owner in the background "Of course we will." When I asked what price that would be they were not prepared. Lost our business.

They have a great burger! ( build your own) I'll be back for another! Staff was great, onion rings cook just right. A nice place for a meal

This place has been right down the street from us ever since we moved to downtown Milford a few years ago. We had no food in the house and our favorite Thai food restaurant was closed so here we are! The first time we came here, it was not good, but this time, we were pleased. I think we had a new waitress because she couldn't answer any of my questions, but she was sweet and cheery. Anyway, we had the "angry cowgirl burgers." Mine was turkey. It was very good for turkey. The fries and onion rings were fresh and hot. We are not football fans but we left it was full tummies and no complaints, so all in all, it was a good experience. One problem... no decaf coffee... not sure if they never carry it or if they just ran out. No big deal. That saved us probably about five dollars.

The first time we were here was ok, we were on our way somewhere else and had a Buger and Fries and left, it was ok. The return visit was less than ok it started off with the waiteress was out in left field somewhere and served me a water with unknown floaters in it only to return with the same thing. After that was dirty silverware. So anyhow we ordered the special which was a fish of some kind and it was not real warm so we just left. This is all covered in Restaurant Management 101 I'm sure...it's a shame because it has a nice location on Mainstreet.

Used to enjoy this place. Had not been here in over a year. Went recently and was very disappointed. Server had no personality. We ordered bloody mary's, they were served with no garnishings at all. One ordered spicy and was so bad it could not be drank. Received burnt fries. When we asked for the bloody mary and fries to be removed from the bill we were told they couldn't be cause the owner had to do it and he was not there. Server brought $2.50 to the table and said that was for the fries. After expressing our disappointment to the server the owner showed up. I have to say I have never been treated like this by an owner of a business. He offered no apology at all, instead accused us of having an attitude because they would not honor a restuarant.com certificate which was not an issue at all. I should of realized there was an issue when we arrived and the place was empty. New ownership won't make it in Milford. Save your money and go somewhere else with better servi ce and food.

The food here is ok, the usual fare for a bar and grill, nothing special. It's a nice place to hang out but...here's my main gripe: the outdoor eating area on the sidewalk is FILTHY. All that's needed here is to actually wash down the area once a day. As it is, they rely on the rain and consequently the dining area is filled with tobacco, food, etc. in the cracks and crevices of the sidewalk which attracts ants, etc. Folks, the outdoor seating is part of your serving area. Clean it once a day. Really. Improve the menu with some imaginative offerings and this place would rock. As it is, it's not bad, it's just average.

We went to MS because I had purchased some incredibly inexpensive Restaurant.com certificates, and I was looking forward to using them. Walking in, I was immediately hit with the impression that the place must be very new, because it didn't really look "established" yet. We were promptly seated (it was not very busy at all), and the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The selection was surprisingly very limited, which was a disappointment, but I decided on the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was a special. My wife opted for the Parmesan encrusted tilapia. The chicken pot pie soup was EXCELLENT (so much so we ordered 2 large servings to take home with us!). The chicken dish was oddly put together, with large hunks of ham, and an as yet unidentified sauce. The asparagus was cooled to perfection though, and the scalloped potatoes were refreshing (although they could arguably have been Betty Crocker for all I could tell). My wife's tilapia was wonderful by her standards, but much too fishy for mine. The rest of her meal was very good, consisting of the asparagus and a baked potato. The food was "O.K.", but I doubt without any serious incentives that I would return.

Great place to go get a great home cooked meal and talk to some good people. Never had a bad meal there. Chef Jeff uses fresh local meat for the best burger in town along with fresh homemade soups. Great crowd on the weekends. A local favorite. I take friends from out of town in, they love it. Slalom Cesar salad is the best one I have ever had. Go there!

Was home for a week and met some friends for some food and drinks. Great spot on Main Street - everything was great. Good food, drink, and service. Don't forget Mud Wrestling on the third Wednesdays of the month!

Went here after milford house closed (midnight). They didn't have a great beer selection and no selection for draft beer. But they were open until 2am and the server was nice.

Nice place, always updating decor. Good beer selection. Great place for when they have live music.

We happened to drop in for lunch, just to mix things up a little. Outdoor seating was quite nice, and I'm not usually one for dining outdoors. The menu had several interesting items, though I opted for a club sandwich as my lunchtime benchmark for most restaurants. I've gotta say, while it might have been a couple bucks more than I'm used to, it was one of the best clubs I've had. Definitely worth coming back for. Service was outstanding, and overall, the prices were totally reasonable. I should come here more often.

Pleasantly surprised. Came here on a rainy day and had some nice MI brews with some solid bar food. Good value and sweet bartender (Jean).

Chicken wings! They are the best in town right here. Be aware, you will not always be seated here. When we walked in last Monday Aug 3rd, the waitress was bothered by that fact that more guest arrived, so we decided to go somewhere else.

My husband and I stopped for lunch last Sunday as we were driving through the area on probably the last warm day of the season. It had been a long time since we have eaten in Milford and have never visited this place before. The outdoor seating grabbed our attention. Not sure why, but we chose to eat indoors. I immediately liked the look of the place. It was updated, warm, inviting, had clean lines but still looked like a bar in a very good way. We were greeted warmly by the waiter (I wish I could remember his name, he did say he lives in Livonia). The menu options were appealing and the food was good. We had great food, exceptional service and the prices were just right. The experience fit right in with an already perfect day.
