Dropped into Stackers from Breakfast and was extremely impressed. This little diner in a strip mall left me full and satisfied. The portiin sizes are large and their staff is friendly. We were in and out in no time and it was pretty busy. Take note of the special board as to not miss anything. I had the omlette which I could have shared with the wife if I wanted too. We will be back.

Just want to say thank you for taking care of my parents and their group of 11 this morning. Im writing this on their behalf. They said Wendy was the server and just so nice! They were visiting Midland and had seen this on Yelp. Can't wait to try it myself when I visit! They brought me an awesome cinnamon roll!

Food was great. Some staff was a little standoffish at first but the server was wonderful.

The place has a definite diner feel to it. No aloofness to the place, just basic diner decor. Even at 8:30 in the morning, however, the place was pretty full. The wait-staff is friendly without being too distracted by talking too long to their regulars. The menu overall is pretty basic, but what they do have is low priced and very delicious. The service is very fast. My Steak and Eggs were ordered, I put sugar in my coffee, and after what seemed just a couple sips of my coffee, my food was ready. My steak was perfect (ordered "as rare as legally possible"). The eggs were over easy (the yokes were perfect toast-dipping liquid, but no runnyness of the whites). The Italian toast was toasted, but not hard.

I've been to Stacker Grill for breakfast twice now. Most of the menu items are savory (not a lot of pancakes and the likes). The place isn't very fancy--in fact it kind of reminds me of an old Chinese restaurant that they didn't bother to remodel. However, the food tastes great and the portions are very generous. The staff is friendly and it seems like a place where lots of locals hang out. The price is good and I will be returning.

Great service and food. Just a great greasy spoon.

Although I have only had take out, I've found their burgers to be delicious. My friend is a regular and swears by them.

As much as I try to support local businesses in Midland this one just didn't do it for me. The waitress was attentive to the regulars but didn't seem particularly interested in us. The food was fine, but very plain, nothing I couldn't make better at home. They did have good toast though (french bread or something of the like).

I have been here several times. The food and service is good and the prices are reasonable. It is a great diner to go for a good meal, no frills here but the food will keep you coming back.

Local gem! Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Rapid service and good food items. Very reasonable pricing. Very attentive staff.

Not at all impressed. Hubby and I ordered tuna sandwiches with a cup of chicken noodle soup and were surprised at the cheap, gross tuna (mixed just with mayo--no celery, scallions, or anything added) on flimsy, thin bread. No chips with sandwich--they charge extra for those! (Seriously? You can't throw 25 cents worth of chips on the plate to go with a sandwich?) The soup was so-so; nice thick noodles but rather salty. The bill (including 2 drinks) was over $20! For that price I would expect a nice albacore tuna SALAD served on substantial bread with a pickle and chips. What we got was reminiscent of what they slap on a tray at a prison or homeless shelter. You can get much better at Applebee's or Bennigan's for the same price. They should be embarrassed at the poor quality. We have been here for breakfast several times but, after this experience, we will not return.

We went here for a breakfast out. Pleasant atmosphere, very basic place, very quick and friendly service. We had to wait a couple minutes for a table in a spot we liked, and it was cleaned immediately so we could sit. I had the French toast with the cinnamon swirl bread--very very very good. It comes in the 4- or 2-slice option, so plan accordingly! My companion had pancakes--they were huge, fluffy, but didn't taste like much. I'd advise splurging to add the blueberries, as that would really make the dish. Folks around us were enjoying HUGE omelets, eggs with toast, etc. Be advised--the milk comes in a huge glass (the size used for pop), so if you're ordering for a kid, ask for a child size. The prices were very reasonable.

In the area, used Yelp! to locate a place for breakfast. Prior reviews helped me make the decision. Pleased to say the expectations they set were accurate. Clean place with room for probably 50-60. Very attentive service. Placed my order and the food arrived in 5-8 minutes. I had just set up to read while I waited and it was already out. Food's good. I had french toast with cinnamon bread and sausage. Attractively presented, good, and very nice price. Given I'm on a tight schedule, start to finish :25. Highly recommend.

Omg best place ever! And the wait staff are sweethearts, my favorite stop! Lunch is rocking good sandwiches I can never finish cuz they are so big! Love this place...

I stopped by for a late breakfast on a Thursday. The staff was very friendly. I ordered, and received my food within 10 minutes after. They were very generous with the bacon - 7 pieces! The prices really can't be beat, either.

I come here practically every weekend to see friendly, helpful staff. They have amazing breads - toast, french toast, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is a great, little diner. You cannot go wrong with Stacker's.

Great breakfast. Hash browns are just the way I like them and can't find them that way anywhere else in Midland. Staff is fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. Prices are inline with comparable restaurants. I will definitely be making this a regular stop for weekend dining.

Solid breakfast and lunch food and very affordable. Definitely a great hangover spot - take it from a Northwood grad!

Stackers is bomb in the morning after a long night of boozing. It's all about getting the "T" or the gourmet grilled cheese. But if you're an older person be ware on a Saturday or Sunday morning because it will be packed with hungover frat guys and the girls that slept in their bed the night before

We stopped here for breakfast on the way home from Mt. Pleasant, thanks to a Yelp search. What a great find! The 2-egg breakfast was a daily special and was delicious...eggs cooked perfectly, mildly spicy sausage and the cinnamon swirl toast--don't miss it! The owner was extremely pleasant and overall, it was a great stop!

This is a breakfast review. I am not saying this is a 5 star joint. It really is anything but. The service is fast and friendly. The food is always good. The dining room is quite large, so rarely do you ever have to wait to be seated and served.

I recently moved to Midland and tried other breakfast joints before trying Stacker's, which I'd heard about only through Yelp -- not from anyone in town or via any kind of advertising. Because of this, I figured Stacker's would either end up being a "best-kept secret" type of place or a terrible disaster. The good news: It was/is awesome. I've now been there four times and have tried something different every time. Every dish has been excellent; I particularly recommend the breakfast burrito, the pancakes or the cinnamon swirl French toast. In addition to the great food, the service is fantastic; the food always arrives within five minutes of ordering, and the servers (which include at least two members of the family that owns the place) are extremely friendly and make sure your coffee cup is always full. They even offer you a "to-go" cup of your beverage! And, as if Stacker's wasn't great enough already ... the prices are very low. Stacker's is officially my go-to breakfast place in Midland, and it is, without hesitation, the place I'll take family and friends for breakfast when they come to visit.

Recently discovered this place after several recommendations. The food is very good, as is the service. Have only had breakfast there so far, but it is the best breakfast meal I've had in a restaurant in a long time -- and maybe the best ever in Midland.
