For a nice restaurant this one is alright. My expectations were low so I left satisfied. I compare most food to the fare I can receive in Seattle, and while the food was good it simply is not in the same league. My filet was good not great and my wife's sirloin was bland and reminded me more of tasteless leather than meat. The atmosphere was adequate and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bread and salad reminded me of the Olive Garden. Mass produced and churned out to add something more so you won't feel like you are getting ripped off because of the high price. I will give it another shot and order something else.

Good drinks and food. Really enjoy going here. Local landmark and pricing is good they do deals if you eat early.

Great view of water if you make reservations and are flexible with time. Food and service was wonderful. Menu for everyone. I could eat here for a week and choose a great meal each night. Fresh WallEye and Perch was excellent. Scallops were grilled to perfection. The prime rib which came to the table was perfect.

Went tonight for our anniversary. Greeted by the sweetest girl, Jesse. Very polite and welcomed us like we were there every day. Great food and good service. Beautiful view.

We were greeted and served by excellent and friendly staff. We had the crab stuffed shrimp and the Dutchman's platter. Both excellent choices. The calamari was also a very good appetizer. Very nice night out. Be warned if you don't have a reservation you may not get a table it is that good.

My family loves this place for special meals. I haven't been here in many many years and we recently ordered food for takeout. I give it a "meh" The seafood was not fresh but had been frozen (maybe if you want fish go for walleye or something caught locally???). My steamed broccoli was greasy--- not sure how that happens. The salad was fresh and crisp. Portions were substantial for my big appetite but it still didn't make up for the high prices given the quality of the food. I wouldn't give the Landing 4 stars in DC (maybe not even 3) but given that it is the family go to place for "special" shared meals and because I think everyone in the family who lives here would give it a 5, I will give it a 4. Our large takeout order was all correct and carefully packaged. The staff didn't miss anything which I think also speaks to how nice it probably is to dine inside and enjoy great service and good views in the pleasant waterfront district.

Regardless if you're a local or visitor, this place is a must stop for a food experience that is or of this world. I'm visiting Menominee this weekend. This place is a little expensive, but is worth every cent. Wait staff were very courteous and super attentive. All courses were right on time. Thank you. Be advised they open 7 days a week from 5pm on only.

Nice atmosphere, relaxing bay side views, delicious & reasonably priced entrees. The salmon & scallops w/bernaise sauce was outstanding. Be sure to try the raspberry vinegarette salad dressing. We will return.

Pricey, but worth every penny. Great food and wonderful ambiance.

Probably the finest restaurant in a 20 mile radius. Great steaks, chops and veal. Decent prices and OK service. The staff all wears radio headsets which would probably be unnecessary in a place this size if they were better organized. All in all - 4 stars, except they pride themselves on their seafood, which is entirely average. The scallops I had were cooked and seasoned perfectly, but the salmon, shrimp and lobster were way overcooked. Nothing is worse than dry, rubbery overcooked lobster. So go for the ambiance, the great steaks and lamb, but avoid the seafood - it's a long way to the ocean.

This place is really popular with the locals, in an old restored building on the waterfront. The walleye is excellent, but the other seafood is average, at best. Crabcake appetizer is good. Service average is so so. Those who accompanied me said the steak was excellent.

Good food and service. One of the nicer restaurants in town.

Elegant restaurant on the bay with a great salad. Ask for honey-Dijon dressing. Great seafood and steaks and always good specials. This is the place to go for good food at night! Some windows have views. The building was built in the mid-19th century and there is an interesting collage of its history.

After my 5th time dining in this gem, I couldn't believe there weren't hundreds of 5-star reviews. I live in Chicago and spend a lot of time dining out in a very competitive dining market; To this day I still honestly say that the food, service, and experience compares if not trumps the best dining experiences in any major city. The seafood mornay is phenomenal - And the landing is in my top 5 restaurant's ever visited, along with Mastro's Steakhouse. If people are looking for a remodeled 'facelifted' atmosphere there has to be a Culver's trending nearby; Because a historic, character-filled building on the bay is not to be tampered with.

My husband moved to Wisconsin for a job and I was recently on a trip with him in Chicago and then we returned to Wisconsin. While in Chicago, we ate at David Burke steakhouse, which is rated #1 in Chicago and has the price tag to match. It was good, wouldn't say much more than that. Last Friday, we went to Bergs landing and we each got filet mignon. Mine was plain his was the special of the day and they were absolutely perfect and delicious. Could have come straight out of a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The scallops were just average, will try a different appetizer next time, but highly highly recommend them. I can't wait to go back! Our waitress was also excellent! :)

I went there for a small wedding party. Everything we ate was excellent. Salmon, steak, salad, cheesecake, breadsticks. The waitstaff and bartenders all did a great job. I will definitely go back.

This is a place that your grandma would take you to. Great food, quiet, lovely view, expensive, attentive wait staff, comfortable atmosphere, handicap parking. It's got all the amenities grandparents could possibly ask for. As a younger patron though, I was just as impressed. If you got that extra $$$ or if someone else is paying, you should go to Bergs.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here a week or so ago. It is a lovely location right by the water. Service was friendly and food was wonderful. I had a filet and my husband had the special which was a steak preparation. We will definitely be back - wish we had found this place sooner.

This is the special occasion place for the townies (graduation, birthdays, divorces, etc) It's probably a three star place but I felt like it's close enough to give it four...the other reviewers are correct. This is what the town has to offer, it is what it is. Option two is going across the bay.

Amazing. Steaks were perfect. As well as drinks. If for some odd reason I'm back in the area ill come back.

Food was tasteless and not seasoned well. Book of 146 martinis was a bit ridiculous. Overall disappointed in the food. Definitely felt like a supper club with old clientele. Outdated and not fresh.
