A Menominee fixture with great burgers. Feels a bit like an urban neighborhood bar.

Loved this place! Great bagels and breakfast sandwiches! I got the western and it was awesome! The juice was great as well! Also a very friendly staff.
The bagels are home made new York style and delicious! I was very excited to see lox and bagel on their menu. It was complete with onions, tomato, and capers. Soooo good! The staff were very nice. The coffee, Door County coffee was also wonderful. They have fun little chotchkies to buy as well. I would definitely return and we're making it a tradition for Saturday brunch after our week of camp.
This place is open till two....so bagels are their thing. They should be your thing too if you visit. I would say you can't go wrong and I'd be right. Now if you driving through the area before two, this is a quality stop for fresh healthy food.

We decided to drive thru and try a "pasty" on our trip to Michigan. Keep in mind we have never tried a pasty. I ordered the empanada pasty and was completely impressed! It was delicious!!!!! We will be going back. It was also really nice to read about the history of the pasty. Who knew?!
Very good pasties, very quick service, and a friendly guy behind the counter. Not much more you could ask.

Great coffee shop and restaurant in a great location. I eat here too often. Always good, sometimes very good. Daily soups and features are great. Pie to die for. And the folks that work here are super nice. Not a late dinner spot, and no booze wine or beer, but that's fine with me.
I was in Menominee for the first time, and ate at the Serving Spoon twice during my stay. The first time I had a simple breakfast of toast, eggs, bacon. It was perfect. I'm always scared of ordering scrambled eggs, because they are often rubbery and/or runny. These were perfect! I had coffee, and Mike (I think that was his name)(barista) was so friendly and offered quality service and java! Oh, and the price was amazing! cheaper than a greasy diner, tasted better than a 5 star restaurant. The second visit I hung out for hours in their relaxing back room, and drank a "shot in the arm" (I think? maybe shot in the dark?) it was a suggestion (by barista, Shastell) when I said I want something strong, but espresso is too strong. To have a barista able to not only make an amazing drink, but personalize the service to find me a drink I'd like, is rare these days! This place is so much better than any corporate or chain coffee hut. Try it, you will fall in love. Fair prices, jovial employees, cool crafts and things, and free WIFI. I can't imagine a trip to Menominee without several stops at the Serving Spoon!
Nice place on the water. Tuna Melt was perfect. Mud pie spice was enough for 3 people and super delicious

Denny like eatery. Clean and friendly.
For a nice restaurant this one is alright. My expectations were low so I left satisfied. I compare most food to the fare I can receive in Seattle, and while the food was good it simply is not in the same league. My filet was good not great and my wife's sirloin was bland and reminded me more of tasteless leather than meat. The atmosphere was adequate and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bread and salad reminded me of the Olive Garden. Mass produced and churned out to add something more so you won't feel like you are getting ripped off because of the high price. I will give it another shot and order something else.
Good drinks and food. Really enjoy going here. Local landmark and pricing is good they do deals if you eat early.

Number 1 Chinese Restaurant

Small but food is worth the $5 not a big selection but they have the basics the crab Rangoon is worth the 5 bucks alone we just heard from a friend about this place and am very glad we stopped in am defiantly getting a take out menu I cleaned my plate haha
Had some takeout from here today. I generally judge Chinese restaurants by the way they prepare the most traditional of all Chinese dishes, Beef and Broccoli. It was pretty good. Served hot, good portion of both beef and broccoli, liberally seasoned with traditional Chinese salt and traditional Chinese pepper, as well as traditional Chinese beef and broccoli sauce. Not the most amazing beef and broccoli I've had in my entire life, but good nonetheless, and especially considering they've pretty much got the market cornered in Menominee. Just goes to show capitalism works. I recommend them.
Number one is a small local Chinese restaurant that I've been going to for many years. It is home to the famous 5 dollar buffet that gives you a choice of dishes and deserts. If you haven't gone yet you need to go!

Thai Cuisine

462 10th Ave
Menominee, 49858
Reviews:
Best Thai north of Green Bay. Not the fanciest place and I wish they served beer to go with the spicy food, but I can't complain about the food or service. A side note, my car battery died in their parking lot, the cook and his wife got me going again and refused any money for their help. That's pretty friendly if you ask me.
Really Good Thai food. 3 stars on the food. 4 if you only take region into acct. However it a DISGUSTING dirty facility. 1 star there. Carpets reek. 70s paneling. Cheesy decorations from a Thai dollar store. Bored spiritless help AND THEY DONT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. They are stuck in the 70s and can't get out! Best bet is wear a clothespin on your nose, don't look down and order it to go. If it's that dirty on the outside though it scares me to think what it's like in the kitchen. Management: spend the $400 to replace your cheap carpet and watch that expense recouped in increased business. Also, a credit card merchant acct doesn't cost that much. Or, are you not reporting your taxes properly to be IRS and state? Is that why you don't take credit?
Living in Wisconsin farm country limits your choices for good food unless you're a fan of fish fry Fridays. ;) The wife and I found this place on accident and we LOVE it, it's friendly, it's crowded and the food is great. We live an hour away and make the drive about once a month. No disappointments for us so far!

Best subs in the Midwest. Love the tacos. Can't be in the area without stopping by.
Nice little place. Wife had the italian sub. Good portion. I had tacos which were not bad. Other member of party had fish taco which was terrible. Service was good. Cash only. I would go back but be careful of what I order.

Jozwiak’s Bar & Grill

1010 16th Ave
Menominee, 49858
Reviews:
A bar/restaurant that looks like it has a lot of history is located just off Hwy 41 in a residential area. We've driven by Jozwiak's many times on our way through town and always wanted to try it. I finally got my chance when we made an overnight stay on a recent Monday night. We scored on 99-cent draw night and went through a half-dozen mini mugs (10 oz. maybe) of Coors Light. We had the deluxe pizza which was pretty good. I liked the sliced Roma tomatoes on top, fresh mushrooms and tangy sausage. I'm not sure about the sauce, it was dark red (like BBQ sauce color) fairly sweet and lots of it. I really wanted this place to be better - a place that makes their own recipes from scratch, but was disappointed that the pizza is from another restaurant (If I wanted Brother's Three pizza, I would just go there), the onion rings are frozen, and it appeared on the slow night we were there, that there wasn't even a cook on duty. Our server cooked the pizza. It was OK, but I was really hoping for something special.
The pizza is not as good as it use to be, but it is still good. We usually get a wabash and split a pizza.
Good. Pizza. I think they may have actually had the original slider too - complete with a nice slab of butter nestled betwixt the toasty bun and the patty. But the pizza. No-nonsense, thin crust, tangy sauce. Fabulous. It's cut into the tiniest square pieces imaginable. She's not still there, but I remember one of the bartender/waitresses with her pitch black hair, in an oh-so-mod cut, crooked teeth, but always a ready smile and a "hey Kenny!" for my dad. I loved her. Bar slash restaurant. Drink slash eat. What could be better?

If you're stranded within a 50ft radius of this place, and are REALLY in the mood for Chinese food then this may be a good restaurant choice for you. Otherwise I would highly suggest looking into any other options you have (maybe just starve for a while longer). The buffet had variety, but most of it appeared to be (and tasted like) yesterday's leftovers. Even the fortune cookie was stale. Eat here at your own risk, you've been warned.
Probably the best Chinese in the area. I really really like the Japanese chicken. It's my go to, but other things on the menu are still good.
