I have been dining at Paulie's for a few years now and have yet to have a bad meal or an unpleasant waitress. Every meal is homemade and tastes like it; it is always served in a timely manner (and hot); and is also always served with a smile. A first-rate restaurant and great alternative to the chains. You must eat at Paulie's!

The only plus to this place is the Monte Cristo. I don't know any place around that makes them. And it was delicious. This place is pretty pricey. My son got pancakes and they sucked. For $5 kids pancakes. That's a bit stupid. Also the high chair was missing a safety strap. And we commented this was not acceptable. With the most attitude I've ever gotten from a server. She replied "oh well. It's all we got". Unacceptable. Ill get carry out Monte Cristo. But I'll never eat there, or any of their other food again.

Food was good. I had the Italian ciabatta I liked it. Service was a little slow. Our server had been working all day (double shift). She was friendly but tired.

Wow. Terrible can't even describe it. Waitress just took a break in the middle of serving us and sat at the booth behind us eating and chatting with other staff. If you're going to take your lunch break, a) do it before or after your table has left, b) at least have someone cover for you. It's not cool, even when you're average plate is $7, to come over to the table with a mouthful of french fries. In a town where these Coney Island knock-offs are a dime a dozen, avoid this trap.

I have to agree with the previous review...the service is terrible. We live right down the road and decided to try Paulee's for breakfast. The food was good but the waitress was not friendly and we couldn't get a refill on coffee. The waitress never came by to ask how our food was And it took forever to get our check and also pay our bill. A little pricey as well for breakfast.

I've been to Paulee's quite a few times because my mom loves it and always asks me to go with her. It's a good place for a quick breakfast, but it isn't anything special. I really wish I could give this place 3.5 stars because I think 3 is too low, but 4 is too high. I've never had rude service here which is a place. I've only been there for breakfast and they seem to have a wide variety of options with a few specials that look good. I've only had the typical breakfast items which have all come out good but it's nothing memorable. I'd go back if someone asked me to go, but I wouldn't go out of my way to try this place.

Went there for lunch, as I have done many times. The waitress must have been getting off her shift and it must have been an inconvenience for her to serve us. She was rude as all hell. We ordered our drinks and she brought them to us she slammed them on the table. She brought us our food which was decent at best and basically threw the dishes on the table and walked away and then didn't come back to ask us if we needed anything. Worst service ever. Then, who I think was the owner, rung us up at the counter and was just as rude as the waitress. Took the money and didn't say thank you or anything. That will be the last time I will be there. The economy is terrible people, you should be thankful you're in business. With service like that, you won't be in business much longer.

The food is great and so is the service. Thank you for running a great place!

Service service service.......I don't understand why the owner doesn't see the wait staff (or at least a few bad apples) are driving this place into the ground. The food is really good but I can't believe how bad the service is. I have an ongoing joke with my wife to ask the waitress "how much are refills?" If its coffee in the morning or soda during the day it seems I have to chase down a waitress and ask and the response is "I KNOW". If you know so well I wouldn't have to ask I dread getting a particularly waitress that doesnt have an ounce of service in her body and is clearly there for the tips only. We are great tippers but I refuse to over tip this person. One time while we were eating she came and dropped off the check at our table with her hair down and then we saw her leave out of the front door. You would think to at least say that you have to leave or someone else will get you anything else you may need. NOPE. New restaurants are opening everyday all around us. Leos just opened across the street and they wouldn't let any one person take down there business. I love the food but I don't know if I can handle one more service by such a self centered know it all that doesn't serve us in the manner that we expect. Unless that's your gimmick to have great food and really rude waitress. Not all are bad but one bad apple right? Did I mention that the food is great?

Read the one prior review for Paulie's, and figured since we were already out in that neck of the woods, we ought to try it. Very glad we did! It was a weekday late morning, and there were a few other customers. The food was terrific! The fritata was a little more like an omelet, but the hollandaise was better than your average big breakfast joint. We also had some pecan banana creme cheese pancake creation, which was delicious. The caramel sauce was a little too sweet, but easily push aside to enjoy the stuffed pancake goodness. The coffee was hot and surprisingly smooth.

This place is very close to my house. We go here on a regular basis on the weekends for breakfast. They have some of the best crepes I've ever tasted, not to mention all of the other creative concoctions they offer. I highly recommend Paulie's. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I first found out about this eatery from coupons in the mail. It has now become part of our regular restaurant rotation. I typically get either a club sandwich or one of the entrees. It's all been good so far. Can add soup and salad to a sandwich for 2.99. Either a soup or a salad comes with the entrees. My wife says they have the best chicken kabobs in the area - this is always her first choice for menu selection. Could use a little polish on the friendliness - all business much of the time.

Tried Paulies a couple times and the food was just OK, nothing to write home about. We want to try this place for dinner before we make a final decision. Only been here for breakfast and the coffee has been very weak both times. Ham and cheese Omelet was good, as were the over easy eggs the wife had.

I tell everyone I can about this awesome diner!! On reviewing it thought, it is based on breakfast only, FYI. Breakfast is by far the best in the area. From Crepes that look so good you want to come back in the evening for dessert just to have another one or the build your own omelet that is so big you work your way into the middle and leave a cut out and can't finish the rest! You never leave hungry that is for sure. My hubby always gets the rise and shine, which is 2 eggs any way you'd like them, 3 sausages, 3 pieces of bacon and 3 buttermilk pancakes or hash-browns (and the hash-browns are the real deal, not bagged!!). I'm always between the omelet or the fresh and fruity, which is the same as my husbands rise and shine but you get fruit pancakes, like blueberry, yummy!! And this isn't blueberry compote, it's real blueberry's!! There always seems to be a wait (especially on Sundays) but it's well worth it. You are sure to run into me there on a Sunday morning with the hubby and kids! And even though Paulie has passed on the kids still run the business along side their mom and she is still there meeting and greeting guests! You can't go wrong for breakfast here!

Absolutely delicious food! I usually get the buttermilk fried chicken w/mashed potatoes n veggies. I've also had the Oreo pie and soup, both great! The food tastes like real home cooked dishes. A coworker recommended this place and I'm so happy she did. I've been going back ever since. She loves the potato skins. The staff is polite and quick. My carry outs are always packed up nice and neat. I need to go in for breakfast one day. I heard it gets a bit busy on weekends, but I'm sure it's worth it.

Friendly waitstaff and good food. Can be slow at times because the staff talk a lot, but that is rare.

It's a shame I gotta give this restaurant even 1 star. They seriously don't even deserve that!! We got seated and we seriously waited a half hour until we decided to pick up and leave. NOBODY even bothered to wait or even give us water. The waiter watched us get up and leave and didn't bother to say anything smh! NEVER coming to this dump ever again. Negative 5 star in my book. Going to Orange Peel around the corner "where we normally go" PS.. The place was extra slow so no excuse why we didn't have a waitress for a half hour

Amazing food. From breakfast to dinner you have so many different varieties to choose from and they're all great!! Definently coming here again

I cannot speak to anything except the breakfast, which in my opinion is the best in the area. Yea, yea, yea, the service sometimes sucks a little bit. Generally, this is a deal breaker for me, but for some reason I am able to let it slide when I am looking for a good breakfast. They are usually very busy on the weekends, and I never see anyone just goofing off. They keep my coffee cup full and serve the best omelettes in town. For this, I overlook the spotty service.
