I've had their gluten free pizza before and it's pretty good. It actually tastes like pizza, which is a rare thing around here. Ordered online where 90% of my order was gluten free and they called me to tell me that they ran out of the gluten free items. Then asked me if I would want the small part of my order that wasn't something gluten free, what the heck do you think? Of course not. Not very smart.

I have been an avid Cloverleaf fan Since the 80's. Every weekend my wife and I order Cloverleaf Pizza, and it is out of this world. They do not know when to call it quits on the cheese and toppings, wonderful!!! Though their one employee is always singing whilst i await for my pizza to be ready, I fairly enjoy the young mans enthusiasm despite the fact that i despise Cher. Keep rocking Cloverleaf! P.S you should open another store in Rochester!

The 5 stars are for Cloverleaf on 13 Mile near Scheonherr. Joe and his wonderful staff took care of us after being disappointed at the Gratiot location. I just got home ate the most wonderful pie I've had in a long time! This is close to where I live so I will def go back! 1 star - As far as the one on Gratiot nr 10 Mile goes, no way!! I rec'd a free birthday medium size pizza. I drove from 18 Mile and Hayes to have lunch and take home the free pizza. I was told that that restaurant is not affiliated in any way to the other pizza establishments. It sounded like they weren't to fond of the other locations. I asked the waitress to send someone else over and she said 'we don't even carry medium size'. I suggested they give me a small instead. They would not do that! We have had 3 large parties at this Cloverleaf in the last year. It would have been 4 but their power went out so they had to cancel at the last minute. We were not compensated at all for that. We went to Gilberts with a hour notice and they set it up for our party of 45. I had intended on giving a down payment and booking the restaurant for Oct 3, 4 or 5 for 60 of us. We are a nice bunch way over 25%. The manager (assistant?) who waited on me knew who I was from the past. I'm not sure why they don't care for the other establishments - they acted like they're not related but they really are! I will still enjoy my Cloverleaf pizza but it will come from the great staff at 13 Mile :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me start by saying I've had cloverleaf both the one at 15 and schoehnerr and the new one at 13 and Hayes and both were awesome. So since I live out by hall road I decided to give this one a try. I ordered a clover 8 (8 corner pizza) with light sauce and well done. what I got was what I guess would be a large pizza with triple sauce and not cooked very well (almost raw). Not sure if they were trying to screw with me since I had a specific order or what but I couldn't eat it cuz of all the sauce and the way it was cooked (or lack there of). I was tempted to call and complain but I have no intentions of going there again so thought it was a lost cause. I'll post a pic so you can see the crazy amount of sauce.

Growing up on pizza from the LEAF And going to the one in Eastpointe every Tuesday Night for years It is so nice to have a location out here to service Macomb Township & Shelby Township This is my 2nd visit & both have been great. Also Ryan offered me a flavored crust, which I was not aware the "Leaf" did Butter -Parmesan -Garlic I also requested a slice of that delicious cheesecake $4.50 look at the pic Very light & not to heavy or dense Will truly order both again! great location + they deliver!!!

Had friends over for a pizza dinner. We decided on recommendation to try Cloverleaf Pizza on Hayes Rd. It was a good choice! The sauce was tasty and just enough......but not too much. The crust was crisp and tasty. This will be our go to pizza place. Just writing about it makes me hungry.

Awesome cheesy breadsticks and the pizza was pretty good, loved the crust and sauce and their cheese blend was pretty good too. Pepperoni was a miss for me but overall 4/5.

One of the best rated pizza places for a reason. They screw up order a bit sometimes but always make up for it. Of you like cheese pizza. Order with Pepperoni's and take them off. It gives the pizza a different taste that I don't get at others when I do that.

Hands down this is some of my most favorite pizza. Any place that has fresh mushrooms will have great taste. Sweet marinara, great customer service, perfectly melted cheese...it all comes together to form the best pizza in Macomb Twp!

Excellent pizza and fresh salads ! Always an excellent choice for a busy weeknight dinner! Fresh ingredients for the same price as those cardboard pizza around the neighborhood ! Same pizza in this take out place as in the restaurant in Eastpointe.

Always wanted to check out the original on Gratiot (Isn't that the original? Isn't this a satellite of the same place?) At any rate, I wanted to make sure I checked out the "Origins" so to speak.....apparently THE place that started it all in Detroit back in the 40's (I think) and branched out to Buddy's, etc..... I was not disappointed. I was scared I might get wrapped up in the hype but this is just as good as Buddy's / Shield's , etc. This stuff is damn tight. Super pissed I am hardly ever on this side of town to grub it. Service was great as well.

Pizza has most flavor out of any other carry out franchise around town. Prices are dead on...if not cheaper then Jets Pizza(compare if you don't believe). Stone baked comes from the granite tile conveyor oven. Always has great specials and for first introducing a round on their menu at this location...it is one of the best. Clover 8's and always ordering "well done" are the way to go.

Ah, my 300th review. Never woulda thunk it to be Cloverleaf. 300! "Spartans! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty... For tonight, we dine in hell!" Soo...They claim to be the Detroit original square pizza as it says outside on the sign. I think Buddy's Pizza would beg to differ. My wife & I got a large Hawaiian pizza and a pound of traditional bone-in wings here. They were kind to oblige to a customization to our pizza at no added charge. I am not a fan of pineapples, so I asked to substitute my half of the pizza with sausage in place of pineapples. So my half was bacon, sausage, and ham. The meat toppings were quite a bit salty. The wings were subpar. Kind of small, and had that slimey almost microwaved texture that I do not like. Worse than the ones at Jet's but somehow costing a buck more. There were a few dinky pieces that were cut bad. Both the pizza and wings came out to around $23. This was a little steep compared to Jet's for the same amount of food. Sad to say, we did not feel the taste justified the price difference. The crust is actually a bit thin for our liking, and the edges did not crisp up the way we prefer. Overall, Cloverleaf makes tasty, decent quality pizza. It is stone-baked too! I hate to have mostly picked at their shortcomings, but I feel that Detroit-style pizza is very competitive, so no easy wins in this category. I would recommend a one-try here to anyone, because it may be a favorite for you. But for me, with all the options in the Shelby/Macomb area, this ended up being somewhere around the average category for the price.

Great pie! You can tell these guys care a lot about their product. Consistent at both locations, and an extremely low amount of grease for a pizza. I love the square here.

We ordered the gluten free pizza tonight. It was literally the best gf pizza we've ever had! My 4 year old daughter even said that it was "yummier than our normal pizza" plus they were very friendly. They genuinely were interested in my feedback on the pizza and asked me to call them with any and all comments. We will be going back for more pizza soon.

Best non-wood burning pizza in the area. Hands down. Sauce, cheese and topping quality are excellent. Menu is limited, but you want else do you want but amazing pizza? Delivery is pretty good at keeping to promised times, as is take out quote times. One question I have is they stake their claim to being a 'stone baked' pizza concept but It appears they use a typical 'impinger' conveyor oven. Maybe a quibble, as the pizza stands on its own merit. All in all, my go-to weekend pizza. My personal favorite? Round crust, spicy pepperoni, diced tomatoes, jalapenoes with extra sauce.

There is no question that his is the best pizza in Macomb. I suggest their Hawaiian square. Prices are a little higher than usual but it's because of the quality ingredients. Their antipasto salad is generally good, but has been light on the toppings once or twice. They have sides such as cheesy bread sticks (alright) and cheesecake by the slice (good.) The staff is always friendly.
