It's a cute, p[leasant indy coffee shop, the only one in town. The space is comfortable, inviting, sunny, you can have a relaxing chat over coffee or get some work done here. Service is pleasant though not very quick, the latter isn't very important to me when I'm in town, but it would irritate me if I was picking up en route to work or on a brief office break. The location is perfect if you're staying in the only hotel in town. One minor drawback is that they only use disposable cups, when I'm in a cafe for a fancy cup of caffeine, I prefer real china serviceware, but maybe they keep costs down this way.
Glad I stopped here! Got the Veggie breakfast sandwich and a mocha. Both were delicious! They offer soy or almond milk for their coffees!
So good. Vegitarian friendly. Everything is seriously so good. You cant go wrong no matter what you choose!!!

The pizza is great and the price was too!
Feels like going back in time. The local pd grabbing a bite and chatting about the local news makes for a fun experience. The food is good too.
Even though this place hardly has any ambiance, the pizzas are one of the best I've ever had. Would recommend this joint to any pizza lover.

Old and local...in a good way. Just real hometown food, at a decent price. Limited menu, but it's all good. Not much to look at...perfect just-wear-jeans-and-a-hat weekend breakfast. No wait for breakfast, even on the weekends. Always prompt & friendly service. Cash only. (Bacon cheese omelet is my favorite, almost too much bacon, if that's possible...) Keisers makes you remember what we're missing with all those chain restaurants...
I love this place! The food here is delicious and the portions are huge. The waitresses are so nice, even when they're extremely busy. I always order the pancakes or the chili fries and I'm never disappointed. Prices are reasonable too!
Usually come here for breakfast which is good for the price. Friendly service. A good place to come for a decent meal for a good price.

Pleasantly surprised with this pizza. I am always looking for a new pizza place and I would go back for sure. The crust is unique and seems almost like a pretzel. Worth a try.
Terrible customer service! We normally love BC Pizza but will never step foot in this particular store again. We arrived at 1:40pm on Saturday. We walked past the buffet to the counter, there were still 4-5 tables with people but the buffet had less than a full pizza between the 2 different kinds on the buffet and all of the salad items. We wanted to order the buffet but she was very adamant we would not be having that. There was still 20 minutes left before 2 (the buffet goes from 11-2 on Saturday). We were told there was "only 15 minutes left" of the buffet and offered a "special of a large 3-topping pizza and bread sticks". I stated I just wanted a salad (meaning off their regular menu) and turned to my family to see what they wanted to do. The guy in the back came up and said they had a "large group coming in at 2" so they wouldn't be able to put more pizza out and the gal running the register very rudely and loudly said at that point "I will be pulling the cold stuff off the salad bar in 15 minutes whether you're done or not!" I never even had a chance to explain I was talking about a salad from their regular menu. We walked out, we do not need to pay for someone to be rude to us, we can get that for free! I emailed the corporate office last Sunday (the day after this incident) and never got a response from anyone, this is Friday. Before I post a review of a business on the internet, I like to give them time to make things right. At this point I feel this particular franchise owner endorses the poor treatment of their customers. I was a manager of a restaurant for many years and would never tolerate this treatment toward customers and would personally feel terrible if knew a family was treated in this manner under my management. ***Update*** I just received an email from the owner of the Lowell BC Pizza and I did give an extra star based on his response. He invited us to come back so he could offer the proper experience. I'm glad this was not completely ignored. Based on his response, I can now feel and endorse that they are willing to address situations appropriately.
All their za is so good. but the buffalo chicken is the best there is! Nice lunch buffet. The chx wings are terrible but what can you expect, it's a pizza joint and that's what they do well for sure. Nice staff and atmosphere

My fiancé and I stayed at the Inn around the corner and decided to have breakfast here before we left town. We were beckoned in by the wafting aroma of onion and hash browns. Now, we've walked past this place before because, let's face it, it does not appear to be all that clean or in the best shape. Inside is the same story, with dated decor and sagging ceiling tiles. However, this shouldn't scare you away from the food. We had two wonderful omelettes that were HUGE! Absolutely stuffed with fresh veggies, meats and cheeses. The 'taters', diced potatoes with peppers and onions, were also fantastic. Our waitress was a little short with us, but she was busy running around and was generally attentive. All in all, a small town feel of Americana in the glory days with a breakfast that will negate any hankering for lunch.
My husband and I stopped by here on a rainy Saturday after being in Grattan. I'm always a fan of breakfast and this seemed like a decent place to stop on our way back home. The outside is very unassuming and even a little off-putting. It's definitely a place you could pass up or miss and not even notice since it's off the "main drag" of Lowell. When you enter, you're taken back to about the 70s or 80s. I'm not sure if it's been updated since then. It's definitely nothing fancy and it's very "homey" I guess in that it's unassuming and definitely looks well-used for it's years. Look past all that age and take a seat. The servers are friendly and managed to make us feel welcomed, despite calling out to regulars (and we're not regulars). The staff is happy to have anyone there. They were packed and our coffee did dip a bit low a few times, but was always quickly filled when we grabbed someone. The food was a bit slow, but they were packed at the time, so we were understanding. The food is the best part of the entire place. It's homemade and from scratch, and you can tell. The potatoes (the best sidekick to eggs, IMO), are russets and cut into giant cubes which were crisped on the flattop. Mixed with onions and some peppers, they were fantastic (just be generous with your salt and pepper-ing). I got the backwater hash which were the potatoes, onions, peppers, and some thin-sliced (sorta deli-like) ham all covered in cheese. It doesn't normally come with eggs, but I got two on the side because all breakfasts need eggs. My husband got the breakfast burrito. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was a solid performer and generous with the portions. We didn't leave hungry and were all really happy with the food we got. Just be sure to overlook the interior being a little aged....
One of our two favorite diners in town when the Chief of Staff returns to the land of her ancestors. This friendly, cozy little family diner has seen better days in terms of the decor, but it would have a wonderful view if they cleaned the windows facing the river. It opens before the crack of dawn at 5 am so it's the father-in-law's favorite breakfast spot. To me, 5 am is an insane time to eat, so late at night, but maybe that will change when I hit 80 years old. They know their regulars well, and if they don't know you, they want to know you, it's that kind of place. They are open in the afternoon, but breakfast is what they do best. If you're passing through the Grand Rapids area, you could do a lot worse than the short detour to have breakfast here.

Subway

Reviews:
It's pretty much your typical Subway experience with no major surprises. Where they did a really good job was the friendly service. Where they didn't really impress me was the flavors of the sub I ate (of course what doesn't thrill me may thrill everybody else). I had a seafood sub and it was really lacking flavor due to there not being as much mayo (or whatever the white stuff in it is) which for my taste preferences anyways was a big let down. Also, I asked to have a little salt and pepper on it and they put a pretty heavy handed dose on my sub and it almost covered up the taste of the seafood. For others maybe that much salt and pepper would be a great thing, but for me it was over powering and unpleasant to eat. Thanks to the friendly service I'll give this place the benefit of the doubt and give them a 3 star review instead of the 2 star review that they'd get if I were rating on food flavors alone. While I wasn't particularly thrilled this time I would stop in again if I were in the area. I would just choose a different type of sub and not ask for a little salt and pepper and I'd bet that I'd enjoy my sub more than I did this time.

This arbys food is not too bad. But definitely come here if you enjoy waiting in the drive through for 5 minutes or see it's version of an anw park and eat because everyone has to pull into the parking lot to wait for their food
I've been here twice in the last month, I always get a Beef N Cheddar sandwich. The first time I went I ordered my sandwich in the drive thru and when I got home the cheese was very small and on the edge of the bun only. I thought ok, someone was in a hurry. I stopped in again last night on my way home from work on a Friday night and ordered two and ask for "plenty" of cheese. When the girl handed me the bag with two sandwiches in it, I ask her if she ask for the extra cheese. She assured me she had. Got home, very small amount of cheese and it's only on one edge of the bun again. Lesson: no more purchases from this Arby's Resturant! Very disappointed in Lowell, Larry
